The jeans are great with one quite major flaw. Where they crease eg turn ups ( or natural creasing from sitting down) the denim stresses and splits. These stress splits will I’m sure develop into major tears and not being 17 I don’t want to wear gashednslashed jeans!

I am so pleased I found this company who make decent jeans! love the fact they do fabric with no stretch - worst thing ever in jeans. customer service is excellent and so is product. the size guide with actual measurements is just so helpful. thank you and good luck for the future.

Great company and a great product. I had some sizing issues as I tried to find the pair right for me, the customer service was superb with great feedback and replies to all my many questions.

There was no issues in sending me new pairs to try on and the delivery times were also great.

This company, like many small UK manufacturers, has been through the mill throughout lockdown and has doe wonders to cope and get the jeans made and out as soon as they possibly could. And what great jeans they are.

I also respect the ethos of Hiut, bringing back jobs and passion for jeans to the area. I support that 100%

These guys talk a good game. An absolutely exceptional game. Their marketing is genuinely exceptional and I would like to love them, I completely applaud their way of doing business, the fact that they've employed a lot of people in West Wales whose skills would otherwise have been lost, and they appear to be a company with a social conscience.

The problem is that try as I might to love them the product in my experience isn't quite up to scratch. I don't often wear jeans. They're too hot if it's hot, and if it's not you have to be absolutely sure it's not going to rain because they're hideous when wet. It's a fairly small meterelogical window. But everyone wears jeans sometimes and I decided a few years ago to treat myself to a good pair from Hiut.

I would say I have worn mine 50 times in five years tops, and it's probably more like 30 and possibly less than that. I've washed them once as per the 'no wash' credo. And the material around the seat nearly completely wore away in that time. A few threads stopped it from being a decent size hole right in the seat of the trousers.

To give them their due, they do offer a lifetime repair service, but I live abroad now and to be quite frank I couldn't be bothered with the hassle and expense of sending them back to the UK and instead had the material darned here. It's ok now, it'll hold especially as I don't often wear them, but it's not impressive for a product that is marketed in the basis of its premium quality and priced accordingly.

I don't regret buying the jeans because as I say I support what they're trying to do. I just think that if your entire ethos is literally "do one thing well", I'm afraid you need to do it a little better.

Tired of mainstream jean brands with stretch fabric and decided to bite the bullet and get a pair made in the UK. Best decision I have made. The jeans are the real deal (SkinR, organic) and feel like they should for the price tag. No other pair comes close - ultimately, you get what you pay for and I will be buying more as they will last.

In addition, the company is top drawer. No joke, but after having my jeans for two weeks my cat ripped two holes in them. Entirely my fault but Hiut are in the process of mending, at no cost. Top service.

The customer service has also been great with advice on sizing. I bought two pairs and the size that didn't fit went back and credit received quickly - all free post.

Ive now bought 3 pairs over the last 9 years, and still have all three, 2 of which have had 2 repairs in that time.
Fair play, they honour what they say, the team have always been really friendly and supportive. Also pretty cool as they live nearby Ive been able to pop into the factory.
All in all, Im proud to support these guys.
The negative reviews (limited in number) are pretty funny, I hope they dont take them to heart, and in my view, do not represent my experience with the company nor the jeans.

I’ve just bought my second pair of hiuts, a short run summer weight and I’ve had a pair of the organic cotton now for 8 months .
The organic cotton are great , even though it’s their cheaper option they’re miles better than the cheap supermarket jeans I had been wearing .
The quality is fantastic , they take a little while to break in but even from day one they’re comfortable. The colour isn’t fading much either which is nice .

Overall I’m very impressed with Hiut, I’ve spoke to customer services a couple of times before ordering my second pair and they were excellent .
All of this backed up with a guarantee for any repairs or damage , they may not be the cheapest but they’ll no doubt be cheaper long term and you definitely get a great product for your money .

I was generously gifted a pair of Hiut jeans by a friend, which were too long for me. I contacted Hiut, who and me to simply send the freshly washed jeans to them for shortening, with required adjustment.
I have received my perfectly finished jeans. The packaging eco friendly and no payment required. Thank you so much!

I first purchased them a number of years ago, when I got fed up of buying other so called up market expensive jeans (I got fed up with the others, because they were expensive to buy, but did not last and expensive or unable to be fix.)
So I decided to try Hiut Denim (known to be expensive but loved by those in the fashion industry and the British Royal family!), I was intrigued by their free repairs and call them to check, and they said ‘yes’ any problems just send them back and we will fix them. And two years later, when I sent them back to repair worn out knees and gusset, they were as good as their word and even offered to turn up the legs, as they had grown a bit too long for me. (I purchased them six months apart, the basic Organic ones, and later the heavyweight ones, I loved both!)
This really has been a case of pay a bit more for a good quality product, which you enjoy every time you wear, and can be repaired again and again in a eco-friendly stainable way.
I have just bought two new pairs, again the basic Organic ones, and the heavyweight ones. I plan to keep these for best, smart nights out, and the older ones for day-to-day use.

Customer service has been great, really nice to deal with.

I love the philosophy of this company and was delighted when the jeans did not disappoint. Really nice to wear and make me feel great.
Attempting the one year no wash challenge. So far, so good, I haven’t noticed anyone avoiding me!

£5 delivery fee which I happily paid because they advertised free returns for the UK. But pay attention to the details - it's effectively not free returns. They provide a useless royal mail freepost label but if royal mail screws up, you're only covered up to £50 of product. So you have to pay for a tracked service, which was £11 in my case.

Product is overhyped and overpriced. High Street quality at designer prices.

In summary, spent £16 in postage for disappointing jeans to try on.

The jeans are good no doubt about it - but they are really over priced and the sales narrative is just a bit nauseating with all the grandmaster stuff etc etc and the owners belief that he is some sort of new business guru is just a bit of deluded drivel. If only they could quietly continue to make good denim products and concentrate on giving customers the benefit of economises of scale - ie reduce prices that would be admiral. But to relish the exclusivity narrative is just snowflake pretentiousness - which is well past the hipster sell by date - get over yourself - times are a changing - build a volume business that serves the people - that will be your greatest legacy!

I purchased a pair of jeans from Hiut recently. Unfortunately, they didn't quite fit, however, the service I've received after emailing them has been friendly, prompt, informative, and accommodating. Highly recommended and will be buying my next pair from them too.

Slow delivery but superb jeans. Perceived quality, fit and comfort easily on par with Iron Heart but at a lower price. The best jeans I have ever owned. One star deducted for delayed delivery.
