I have had a fantastic experience with Hillside Hair, and would recommend the clinic to anyone that is considering a procedure.

I am a 23 year old girl with a hairline which was not receding, but quite naturally far back. It is something I have always been very conscious of. When looking for options and quotes from different companies, I encountered a very rude and intimidating salesperson. I was left feeling very stressed and worried about hair transplants.

After getting in touch with Hillside, Dr. Ali personally reached out to me. His knowledge and service is absolutely fantastic. After explaining the options and the whole procedure, he arranged a face to face consultation with Dr. Krishnan; the surgeon that did my procedure. This really put my mind at ease and proved that I was in the safest hands.

On the day of my procedure, (FUT or ‘strip’ transplant) I felt so looked after. Every member of the team was so kind and welcoming. I was extremely nervous, and everyone made an extra effort to comfort me. I was provided with snacks, lunch and the option of a hotel for the evening.

Dr. Krishnan and his technicians are so meticulous in their work. They explained every part of the process for me, and were so patient with my nerves. The procedure was much better than I expected it to be - it was almost painless and I felt so well looked after. Dr. Krishnan managed to harvest an extra 150 grafts to boost my expected number of 1,500. He went out of his way to make me 100% happy and confident, which I am so grateful for!

The aftercare has been absolutely fantastic. Hillside have always been a phone call or message away for any concerns I have had. They rang me several times during the recovery process, and I have since had face to face appointments and FaceTime calls to discuss the results.

The results have been absolutely unbelievable. I have a completely new hairline after just 6 months, which is better than I could have imagined. My hairline is looking so thick and natural, despite the fact I have another 8 months of growth left.

My experience at Hillside was extremely positive! I was very disappointed to see my review from back in October didn’t post properly, So I’m uploading it now.

I am a student, so on the younger side of hair loss- I can honestly say my free consultation at hillside lifted a weight from my shoulders. I left feeling like my concerns were rational and that I had a plan to stop further loss. Dr Ali explained the science of hair-loss and how I can take steps to stop it.

I never once felt pressured into any expensive treatments and the practice was very friendly. I have been using Finasteride since the appointment and have noticed a reduction in hair-loss.

I will certainly return to Hillside to look at some more options in the future. I thoroughly recommend this practice!

From the initial consultation with Dr Ali, right through to having the procedure done by Dr Krishnan and his team, through the after care, all the team at hillside have been absolutely fantastic.
If you are considering having this done then the advice and care and professionalism you will receive is second to none. I am delighted with the initial results (only had the procedure recently) Dr krishnan explained everything brilliantly with me, answering and discussing all my questions and concerns and I really got the impression I was in the hands of somebody at the top of his profession who really cared about my procedure. The procedure was painless and I was made to feel comfortable and all was done at my pace and I was well and truly looked after by the team Linda, Phil, Clair and Preya.

From the minute I walked through the door they made me feel comfortable and at ease and nothing was too much for them to do to achieve this. I was kept totally up to date with things all the way through the entire happy journey by Vanessa who was always on hand to answer any questions I had. I received regular phone calls from Vanessa to check how I was doing and feeling before and after the procedure and she was always able to meet any request or question i had to make the whole process my own journey tailored to me.

I am delighted I picked hillside!

After doing a lot of research and having many consultations I was shocked by how many companies are now doing hair transplants and how many are obviously in it for the wrong reasons. The advice I was getting was contradictory, sometimes wrong and almost always about money. There are also so many companies now that have sales people doing the consultations rather than a dr, madness!! I was starting to give up when I had a consultation with Hillside.

My initial consultation was with Dr Ali, he was so honest and knowledgeable and for the first time I did not feel I was being sold to. After this Vanessa was brilliant, any time of the day i had any questions she would come straight back to me. On the day of the surgery Dr Krishnan made me feel so comfortable, I fully trusted him and knew I was in safe hands. The technicians on the day Haj and Cleo were also great and made my experience a really nice one.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I am now a month in, recovery is going as expected and I can't wait to see my end results.

Visited Hillside yesterday for my second PRP session with Regina. Had my initial session a month ago after having video consultation with Dr Ali who was confident that with prp and minoxidil and finesteride potentially in the future I may be able to avoid a transplant. I had become concerned with some thinning to the crown and this clinic reassured me and have been fantastic in their treatment so far. Well worth the drive of 2 hours and over 100 miles each way. I was able to meet Dr Ali yesterday too who again was reassuring and determined to address my concerns. Booked in for a further two prp sessions where I should start to see results. This is a brilliant clinic with very professional, knowledgeable and dedicated staff. I attended the clinic for an FUE procedure after seeing the excellent job they did with a friend of mine about two years ago. The WAW system they used on me is a cutting edge system. It's early days but my donor area has healed brilliantly and is virtually undetectable. The recipient area is equally excellent and the grafts have blended brilliantly into my existing hair to give a very natural early result. After less than two weeks I was completely healed and once my hair was shaved to blend in with my transplanted hairs the result was barely detectable. My own parents never even noticed! Their patient coordinator Kevin is a great guy. He is professional, knowledgeable, customer focussed and has looked after me very well throughout my entire journey. The aftercare has also been very good. Dr Ali and his team are brilliant at what they do. Dr Raja is a very well respected and skilled surgeon but he is also a great guy that put me at ease throughout the entire day. He is honest, friendly and very thorough with his work. His team including Phil and Haj were all brilliant and Phil could not do enough for me on the day. You get what you pay for in life and this was definitely an excellent experience. I now just wait patiently for the full results.

Had PRP treatment with Regina kazlaukaite and never thought I would see such fantastic results thought I would need a transplant but no after 6 months I now have the best head of hair I've had since school it's worth every penny .Regina is a lovely lady and very helpful the clinic is immaculate very very clean and all the staff very friendly I highly recommend this place they really care it's not just about the money with these people like it is with alot of others .

I had my HT at the beginning of June 2020 and wanted to wait until the 6th month mark to write my review as this is when you can really start to judge the results which I feel should be the most important thing to help others seeking a HT rather then leaving a review based on a consultation etc

I opted for a combined Fue and Fut

The day

The procedure was carried out by Dr Ismail and I must say he and the techs were first class And put me at ease from minute one.
The procedure was smooth and there was no hiccups and I couldn’t wait to see my results as the confidence was installed following my days experience.

Aftercare

This is where I feel the clinic have let me down. Don’t get me wrong if I messaged the clinic I 90% received a response (there was a couple of occasions I didn’t)

However, I was advised there would be regular check upS during the first year but not once have I been contacted for a check up. I even had to chase them. We finally booked a 6 month check with dr Ali but the call didn’t come (even after me confirming a day before the proposed time And cancelling my plans to have the check up). This is Poor.

I must add, I did opt for a couple of sessions of Prp With Regina Who was very helpful and full of knowledge
However, During the prp I had to request Dr Ali Check up On my scalp rather Then thIs being Part of the normal process. Especially after driving 5 hours to the clinic.

The aftercare is just as important as the procedure itself.

The result

Being 6 months I feel the results so far have exceeded by expectations for this stage (apart from the crown area but apparently this is the part that takes the longest) but I am hoping the hair now becomes for dense.

Conclusion

Results - looking good.

Aftercare - would have appreciated some more esp with the cost of a HT

I had FUE procedure on 27th November and I can’t recommend Hillside Clinic highly enough.
I have suffered permanent hair loss after chemotherapy treatment 10 years ago and this has had a huge effect on my confidence and self esteem. After much research over a long period of time I finally found the courage to go ahead with the transplant with Dr Krishnan. This was a difficult decision made easy especially as Dr Krishnan had treated other females in a similar circumstance to me.
Every single member of the team are exceptional in the roles that they play, from my initial telephone call with Kevin, the technicians Lyn, Stan & Ann, Dr Krishnan and finally aftercare with Vanessa. I couldn’t have been in safer hands.
I was extremely anxious about having my whole head shaved, Dr Krishnan reassured me that he could perform the FUE and only need to shave the donor area without compromising the overall procedure which was amazing.
I believe that transplants are still predominantly male, and so I hope this review might give any females the confidence in picking up the phone to book a consultation, I’m already wishing I had done it years ago.

Like a lot of men in the UK I am very conscious about my hair and even more so how much I will have left in the future. I discovered Hillside Hair Clinic online whilst looking at transplant options and as it was only an hour away I thought what’s the worst that could happen and took the plunge.
I was really nervous when I arrived and more than a little bit embarrassed but upon stepping into the building that began to melt away when I saw how welcoming and understanding the Hillside Hair Clinic is.
I had a consultation with Dr Ali who took the time to go through how hair transplants work and what would be best for me, at no point did I feel pressured or obliged to buy the procedure and in fact was recommended to look at other options first and understand what else I could try before committing to such a big decision.
He recommended I try PRP and introduced me to Regina one of the MDs and leading specialist in PRP to talk through that process and what it could do for me. She is knowledgeable, understanding and very calming throughout the whole process and in the end I decided to forego the transplant and try PRP.
I have had 6 sessions now and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. My hair is thicker, healthier and I am seeing far less shedding. Other people have noticed the improvement in my hair and I am no longer embarrassed to be talking about the procedures I am having to help and actively encourage people who are the same as me to give it a try!
Rachel on reception is incredibly welcoming and friendly and is always happy to chat while you wait, Regina and Julia are both incredibly helpful, friendly and professional throughout and visiting the clinic is a genuine pleasure each time.

Had my FUE yesterday with Dr Krishnan in Nottingham. I was very please with what he was able to do for me. All the staff are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable through out. I’ve had follow up messages to check how I have been doing today. Was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend hillside hair clinic.

I had my initial consultation with Dr Ali (and also Regina) last week. I must admit I was a little nervous going into the consultation, but from the start Dr Ali reassured me with his obvious experience and expertise, and gave me his open and honest opinion about what would be best for me. Of course it was also clear he’s a great guy, which really put me at ease! I’m really looking forward to my treatment with Hillside going forward!

I had my FUT surgery with Dr Krishnan at Nottingham and I have to say, I found the whole experience fantastic. The whole team are above and beyond friendly and accommodating, happy to answer any questions and reassuring me the whole way. Even during the surgery they were chatting to me and keeping my mind off of things and it’s little details like that which give me great pleasure in giving them a well earned 5 star review. They have also followed up with me several times to make sure I’m happy. I can assure you, in my experience, that Hillside are the people to choose.

I've recently visited hillside hair clinic for a fairly large procedure, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I found all aspects of my time in the clinic to be 5*, from the precautions put in for covid 19 to the aftercare and meal provided.
The whole procedure seemed to go very well with very minimal discomfort throughout. All the staff where brilliant and extremely attentive and really make you feel at ease.
Its to early for me to comment on the overall result as I'm only on day 2 however I think the signs are promising. I have experienced very little pain or discomfort following the procedure, which I'm sure is down to the skill of the surgeon and nurses. Hopefully in a few months time I can comment on the hairline!

Absolutely outstanding service and really happy with my FUE transplant which I had last year. The team were friendly and professional and the clinic seemed to have all the latest technology at their disposal. The waiting areas were clean and welcoming at there was a good level of entertainment available for clients whilst they were waiting. Just had a transplant procedure done in hillside hair clinic, Nottingham. Everything from the consultation right through the surgery was excellent. Dr Krishnan, the surgeon and his team technicians were helpful all day. Very organized. Excellent after care . Just looking forward to the results.

Had an online consultation. Great to get professional advice. Whole process recommended
