Heat Matters Recenzje

My son had a stove and fireplace fitted by Dermot, and it was so well done we gave him a call. He talked us through all the options and left a stack of books with us while we decided, with no hard sell or pressure to make a quick decision ( which was great for us as never had a stove before and terrible at choosing). Once decided Dermot gave us a competitive quote quickly and was flexible with an installation date. Arrived on time, very clean and tidy, covered all our floors to keep dust out as much as possible. Fire was fitted in a day and it is perfect, and Dermot showed us how to work it. Very happy all round and love the new fireplace , would highly recommend.

Dermot and team are so impressive. I chose Dermot to do the work as on meeting him at the quoting stage he was clearly incredibly knowledgeable and equally important to me, he was a nice man who I knew I would be comfortable with in my home. They arrived at 9 and left just after 6 and I’ve honestly never seen such hard and efficient workers. The job is 100% perfect. Dermot has a great eye for style and things being in perspective and is a perfectionist who is also polite and pleasant to have around. They opened up a fireplace in my bricked up chimney breast and it’s beautiful. Lovely finish. Oak mantle is stunning. I’m quite picky and I honestly can’t fault these guys. I would 100% recommend Heat Matters.

Absolutely delighted with our new stove and fireplace finish. Dermot really knows his stuff and we couldn't believe the amount of work he and James got through in a single day. Great knowledge, experience and attention to detail... Would highly recommend. 👌

Heat matters were very friendly and professional. After messaging them enquiring about a log burner installation, he immediately arranged to come to our home to give us an accurate quote. On the day of installation they arrived on time and completely covered everything with dust sheets. They were extremely respectful of our home and made sure that everything was kept as clean as possible throughout.
The quality of their work was exceptional and they advised us on best practice for using the log burner. The work was well priced and the whole experience has left my partner and I recommending them to anyone who may be looking to have a log burner installed. All round exceptional service.

I didn't know Dermot and someone recommended him to me as I wanted a log burner fitted in my Orangery,he is the nicest guy you could meet and told me exactly what I needed and where best to put the log burner,he turned up when he said he would and Dermot and Jay just got on with it,they went through everything with me and give me a demo on the new log burner, they left the orangery spotless when they had finished and after a couple off days give me a call to see how I was getting on,I would highly recommend these guys to anyone, class from Start to finish, cheers Heat matters 👍

Dermot has been so helpful and patient with me, I am the most indecisive person ever but he was so patient with me when it came to me deciding which stove I wanted etc, he always replied to my questions no matter what time of the evening it was, he answered anything I needed to know. On the day of installation the guys worked so hard! It was dark when they started and dark when they left, Every thing they did was to perfection, I have a hawk eye and I always pick the bones out of anything but there was nothing to fault everything was spot on I am so happy I chose this company , I had lots of other quotes but these guys was definitely the best at what they do. They were also very clean and tidy which is a bonus. Thank you so much for the excellent service you provided we are so happy with our stove.

Excellent workmanship. Professional. Eye for the details that make Dermot easy to recommend. Totally transformed our summer room into an all year round room. Can't speak to highly of him.

Dermot is a top class installer and servicer of gas fires. He is also friendly, reliable and extremely conscientious. His most recent job for us was to remove our old gas fire and install a new one in its place. This was done quickly and skilfully with the minimum of disruption and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards.

Dermot is absolutely amazing. From the initial survey, to completion of the job, we simply cannot fault them in any way. Dermot fitted a log burner for us this week, this involved creating a larger chimney breast and also incorporating space within it for a TV This was all done within 2 days and looks amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Dermot was amazing - I had a problem with smoke spilling. He cleaned the chimney and then even went up on the roof to check the cowel. He solved the problem and left the area spotless and lit the fire to check it was drawing properly. Superb professional services. I would never go to anyone else.

Dermot is without a shadow of a doubt the best tradesman I have had do work at my house. He fitted a wood burner for us back in October and everything from the consultation to the actual installation was superb. Everything was done in 1 day, to a high standard and tidily. He is a master of his trade and genuinely cares about the delivering the best end result possible for his customers, I would highly recommend him. Thanks again!

I recently had the pleasure of having a log burner fitted in my kitchen, and the experience with Dermot and his team was nothing short of outstanding. Our kitchen had persistently been colder than the rest of the house, and despite previous attempts by other companies, no one could find a solution that worked around our bi-fold doors.

Dermot's professionalism and expertise were evident from the start. He not only understood the challenges posed by our unique setup but also provided knowledgeable recommendations that I wholeheartedly trusted. The result? A stylish log burner that not only complements our space but has transformed our kitchen into a warm and cozy haven.

The installation process was swift, seamless, and executed with a level of precision that reflects Dermot's commitment to perfection. The log burner looks as if it's always been a part of our home, seamlessly integrated with the surroundings.

I am absolutely delighted with the style and output of the log burner. Dermot's expertise shone through every step of the way, and I am grateful for the warmth and comfort he has brought to our kitchen. A well-deserved 5-star rating for Dermot and his team! Merry Christmas and thank you so much for a job well done!

I can only echo the previous reviews. We came to Heat Matters via two different recommendations, its clear to see that when you are passionate about what you do for a living it shines through. Dermot and James where professional and courteous from start to finish, installing our burner within the day.
Top class from start to finish, thanks guys.

Dermot was helpful right from the moment I contacted him
He came and a did a site visit
Told us which stove would be the best suited for our house
Went through the options of chamber and lights and beam

As we had other work happening in the house we penciled a date in and worked to get the space ready for the installation

Dermot and James covered the area in dust sheets and did an amazing job installing the stove
They let us choose which slate piece and beam we liked ( these items were very heavy but they went to the effort of taking each piece and laying them outside for us to see)
At the end they cleaned up the room and showed us how to use the stove

Would highly recommend
Love the video reel for instagram also

We had an old flue liner and wood burning stove removed and a new liner and stove installed. Dermot was always quick to reply to any queries. He is very experienced and readily gives advice. The job was done by Dermot and his team in half a day. Everything left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation recommending Dermot and his company.

Great service and communication throughout. They gave me informative and helpful advice on all aspects of the job which really helped given all the options for stoves, hearths and beams etc. They turned up on time which can be rare these days and tidied up afterwards. I have already recommended them to a friend.

Absolutely superb job from Dermott and his colleague, they worked hard all day to bring our vision to life & have to say I’m over the moon with what has been achieved. Thank you Dermott!!

We are so happy with our new log burner and can not speak highly enough of Dermot and his team. We had a difficult set up and he took time to understand our requirements and provided advice on the best solution for us. He completed the job fast and efficiently with great skill and quality. He was honest and easy to communicate with throughout the quoting and job. He was also the most competitive on price, I would recommend Dermot to friends and family and would be confident he’ll do a great job, he has so much knowledge and experience and the end results is gorgeous! Thank you Dermot! Lisa

Dermot was amazing from start to finish, he helped me select a model fire what was suitable for my home.
A skilful craftsman with quality workmanship.
Clean and precise, a true professional.

We feel lucky to have come across Dermot and his company to fit our log burner and to transform our fireplace. Dermot was always quick to respond, and was great in helping us in decide what we wanted.

The work was done quickly and on time by himself and his colleague, and with care to make as little mess as possible. We had an old large brick fireplace removed and replaced with a log burner, slate base and the chimney breast plastered to a clean, tidy finish.

It was all done in a day which we thought was amazing. To anyone looking to transform an old fireplace, or just to install a log burner, we would highly recommend Dermot and his company.
