Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear the packaging made the boxes so difficult to open.
The plastic strapping and tape are used to give the boxes extra support during transit, as the salt is very heavy and we want to reduce the risk of the packaging splitting or becoming damaged with the courier. That said, we completely appreciate that the packaging also needs to be practical and easy for our customers to open.
We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will take your comments on board when reviewing our packaging going forward. We hope we have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience next time.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. I informed them that one block of salt had broken up on delivery and they dispatched a replacement the next day.
However, to my great surprise they sent me a box of 3 x 2 blocks and not just one block of salt!!
Not many companies would be so efficient and generous. Keep up the good work!

3rd party salt supplied, broken.
Delivery was not Halite salt but a 3rd party supplier. Not only that, but 8 out of the 12 packs received were crumbled/broken. Still waiting a response from Halite.
Won’t be using them again.

We’re very sorry to hear this and apologise for the condition your order arrived in.
We have recently experienced stock shortages with our branded Halite salt, which is why we temporarily supplied salt from another supplier. We included a leaflet with each order to explain this and to confirm that the temporary salt is of the same quality. Our branded Halite salt is due to be back in stock next month.
That said, we are very sorry that 8 of the 12 packs arrived broken/crumbled. This is not the standard we expect, and we completely understand your disappointment.
We would be happy to arrange a replacement for you, and we will get in touch directly to resolve this as quickly as possible.

I ordered 10x25kg bags of tablet salt
I ordered 10x25kg bags of tablet salt, these were delivered individually wrapped in a cardboard box. Two of the boxes were sufficiently damaged in transit, going through the cardboard box and tearing through the inner plastic sack spilling out the salt tablets everywhere when I opened the cardboard box. Not good.

Brine formation
The salt was delivered as expected in timely manner and no issues on the delivery.
My experience is that the salt is not adequate for my water softener water2buy and results in brine formation.
Please note that the issue is not resolved and I have three bags of salt at home, which can not be used.

Gets damaged in transit
Whilst I appreciate its not the easiet thing to ship this is the second time multiple blocks are broken when you actually open the packet of salt blocks. Bear in mind you will have salt waste due to the damage in shipping. Price is good but condition of product on arrival not so good.
