I never asked for their services but… was charged anyway.
I never asked for their services but they charged my City bank card which I got when i bought my computer from best buy and canceled it right away by calling best buy.
Now City bank is telling me to dispute the charge. when I call Green Geeks billing and give them my name they tell me we can't find your account by your last name and ask me to email billing. I just don't know why she could not help me and asked me to send an email except the fact that they want to make it so difficult so one tiers and doesn't try to get the credit.
They do everything to charge you illegally.
I will never buy from Best Buy or use Green Geeks

Functional service with Poor support and beaurocratic, cant help you attitude.
While the web provider has been relatively stable and the value seems decent, it has been a remarkably poor support provider. We use their VPS tier of service to host our customized WordPress installation, which is a mainstay of our business. We have a substantial employee turnover rate, and GreenGeeks is a poor match for our level of change. As our service was transitioned to a new IT employee, they made that very difficult to manage / update. After preventing us from updating the account owner, we worked around by making an employee a collaborator, but who does not have full control. Since notifications were going to the previous employee, when they forced an IP change, the notice was not sent to the new employee, taking our site down. We are also locked out of updating our SSL cert, which is becoming a bigger an bigger problem. Support did not admit the cause of the downtime, saying an IP config error( of their own causing), judging they had notified and not their problem. Anyhow, my criticism is that they have made staff change at our organization into a major problem and left us no way to correct it, judging the domain to belong to the former employee, not the org. Beaurocratic, uninterested in understanding the problem, and structured to make change very difficult. Functional services for the mainline usecase, but unable to handle simple usecases such as new employee in charge. Support is present, responds, but often with sorry, cant help you.

Excellent and genuite customer service
They have excellent customer service, a well organized and intelligently designed website/control panel, and great sustainability oriented practices. Unlike other providers, there is a sense this company has a soul. Their on-boarding assistance process is the best I've seen. This is a great service for those using frameworks such as WordPress. I was looking for more a of a drag-and-drop web development tool to avoid heavy coding. While GG does have one option for that, it was not a good fit for me. For WordPress or custom built websites, GG is an excellent choice worth considering.
