I went to the 38th Street office today and met Roberto B. Santos. I have been there multiple times, but I have never felt so comfortable talking to someone. He was very patient, professional, friendly, and respectful. He took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. His customer service was excellent, and I really appreciated his help. I wish every office had someone like him!

i just got off the phone with Cristian from freeway on 10-17-2026 at 455 pm california time. I called through the number 714-252-2500 and that's where he answered from. He was very rude and would not let me complete a sentence. I would try to explain what happened about one of the agents not submitting a form that i had sent to her "Haley" and he would cut me off and get super defensive and aggressive. Then in the middle of me explaining what had happened he forwarded my call. Very unprofessional i will not be renewing my insurance when my policy is up, solely based on his customer support.

She’s down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and very relatable, which made everything so much easier. Uses very deceiving practices when you purchase insurance from them. Sells you a separate roadside policy & doesn't tell you that it is separate until you notice your bank statement & wonder why your bill is a split payment. Extremely high on policy prices. Please explain how I had a 2014 vehicle insured, switched to a 2004 & it was the same exact price & then needed to switch over to a 2003 vehicle & they told me it would cost me even more money to insure that vehicle. So basically they aren't scoring you on your vehicle, they are scoring YOU!!! I canceled my policy within 1 week of having it bc I found a much better rate. When I called they said I had to send in a written letter signed in order to cancel. Upon doing so, they sent me back more paperwork to sign. I have waited for over 1 month to get my money back. Remember it's a split payment between Freeway & the insurance companies which means I'm expecting 2 payments now. I called last week & they brushed me off saying that they had to send a reminder to accounting for their part of the money (still no payment from Freeway). I them called the insurance company & wouldn't you know my check was sent to the wrong address bc Freeway put my address in incorrectly. So I am still waiting on ALL my money from both companies AGAIN!! I definitely would not recommend them to anyone. Save your money & shop elsewhere!!!

Called a local insurance company and got connected to Freeway Insurance. They quoted me 40.00 a month through progressive insurance. Told me it would be 95 dollars to start a policy. Paid them. Noticed an irregular set of charges. Progressive got 20.00 they took 75. Wrote me an accidental death policy. I didn’t want that. Called them several times from September 23 to October 2. They said they would refund the 75 and cancel the AD policy. They said it would take 48 hours for the refund would be given. It’s now been 96 hours and no refund. Waiting on a call I was promised on Friday for Monday morning. Got several explanations on how the refund would work. First was to card on file. Then it was a check sent out in 2 weeks. Then it was 48 hours to the card on file. Then it was 48 hours after receiving my registration by email, that would take 24 hours to be received and processed. Then the-accounting team would not email the customer service representative that was trying to figure it out. Guess we will see how much longer I have to wait for the refund. After this policy expires I’m done with them. Rather pay 111.00 a month than to deal with this company again.
