Not sure how this company can score 3.8 with 30% bad reviews. Had a absolutely appalling experience with Flanagans - orders items with 2 week delivery, no contact for 6 weeks. When I rang them for an update they told me that the items I had ordered were not only not in stock but discontinued (this was only when I rang them - how much longer were they going to wait to tell me this). They offered alternatives which were nothing like the original items ordered and when I asked for a refund they refused until I quoted CCPC website. Told I was getting refund then they rang me to arrange delivery of the alternative items I told them I didn't want. When I refused to accept delivery they rang my wife to see would she accept delivery. Stopped answering phone calls, stopped answering emails - refund not given until I opened a dispute through my bank on the payment given to them.
Terrible experience, terrible customer support, AVOID at all cost.

Issue with a couple small missing items - have made 4 phone calls and not resolved or given any timeframe for same.

The worst company I've ever dealt with, received a faulty table sent an email with pictures of the table received no contact had to call them a week later because I had no reply its been over a month now on the phone to them a few times I gave them every chance to rectify the issue but now they say the fault isn't there issue and won't refund or exchange all I wanted from them was a new table that wasn't faulty, stay clear of this company I've commented on there fb page but they have deleted my comments

I understand that the Company I ordered from and transferred money to did indeed go into Liquidation, at which time I was told that my deposit would be returned to my pay pal account. This never happened !!
I believe the person that told me is still involved in your new Company and therefore think the honorable thing to do is refund me from your New Company.

I would definitely recommend this company. The ordering process was so easy. We called first to ensure the furniture range we looked for was in stock and we dealt with a lovely lady. Once confirmed we went online to order the bedroom furniture (wardrobe, bed and bedside locker). Payment was then made online. The furniture arrived within two weeks and I was able to track delivery stages at all times online. The furniture is of high quality and looks exactly as it did on the website. I was extremely happy with the quality of furniture and the customer service received. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thank you Flanagan Furniture and Happy New Year.

I ordered a sideboard for my sitting room, it was really quick delivery and I absolutely love it and it arrived assembled too. I would definitely order from Flangans again.

Ordered a 3 piece bedroom package from Flanagan's in November very prompt delivery and the girls in the office were very friendly and helpful, order arrived on exact date as promised and exceptional quality and delivery price was amazing. Would definitely recommend Flanagan's will definitely order from them again

Flanagans reply not accurate. I waited 6 weeks for delivery of my cabinet. I rang twice,2 emails, 1 letter, and 1 online enquiry. No contact whatsover. My item was delivered by car AFTER my letter of complaint! Lots of invited reviews does not tell the truth....

I Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. Like some of the other people commenting, I wanted to support an Irish company, however , my experience with this company has been appalling. I ordered two chairs on November 10th (both with 1-2 week delivery times) and received one the following week without any issue. The other occasional chair I then heard nothing about. I emailed on the 10th/17th/19th/25th/28th November, and again on the 3rd and 9th of December. I rang on the 7th. I was eventually told that the chair was out of stock but they had another similar that I could order and receive a refund in the difference. I was assured that the new chair would be with me the following week. I rang again on the 9th, 16th and 21st December and each and every time I spoke to someone different who told me that “someone” would contact me. Eventually a lady called rosemary advised that she had been to the warehouse herself, the chair was definitely in stock and it would be out to me on the next delivery. Needless to say I am still awaiting delivery, 8 weeks later; and still awaiting a refund of the difference between the two chairs. The chair I am awaiting continues to be advertised, still with a 1-2 week lead in delivery time. I will never ever shop with this company again. Extremely frustrating experience.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered an item. After 4/5 weeks it never arrived. Contacted via email 3 times and no response. I rang them and was told item was not even in stock. Tried to fob me off with a totally different item. Asked for refund. Was told refund would be no problem. 2 weeks later no refund. Rang again was told money was transferred. 10 days later no refund. Rang again and was told someone would ring me back. SUPRISE SUPRISE no one rang me, that was two days ago. Rang again today and guess what they're closed till 4th Jan. AVOID USING FLANNAGANS (with their"fast delivery").
**Response: it took more than 19 days to let me know it was out of stock and only one because I chased it up after 3 ignored emails. I was offered a completely different,princess style dressing table which I have no use for. The oyster one in a different color was offered to me days after I requested a refund and had purchased elsewhere. Bottom line is you shouldn't be taking orders and money for items you don't have in stock and you shouldn't be telling people you've refunded them when you indeed haven't.

hopefully now that we're into month 3 of my order I will have my money returned. I believe it was sent to my bank 14 dec but obviously by now being 5 Jan it hasn't. Rang today and rosemary was to ring me back in 5 mins but never did. Is it possible to have no more communication and just give me back my money before I open a case with paypal tomorrow.
