Waiting 5 weeks now for the piece I bought...when I called yesterday morning wed 22th dec...I was told someone would call me back to see where my order is...no call back and now there closed for Xmas

I have to admit I was really worried when I read some of these experiences. In my case I was emailing every couple of days for an update, and got replies, but there was no communication initiated by the store to inform me about the status of my order. I ordered a shelving unit and it arrived in 4 weeks (the website said 1-2 weeks) but I know how busy the post is these days so it may have been that. I think they should improve the way they update their customers, send an email with tracking when shipped is the minimum these days. I'm actually happy with the unit, so this rating reflects the uncertainty after purchasing, and the lack of communication from the store.

Delighted with my table and chairs and fast delivery

Its exactly what I wanted, I absolutely love this table. One thing I would warn is that there is assembly required. Also there was no updates or delivery warning before I received it. However I still love it

Very pleasant shopping experience with Flannigan’s, pre ordering items I phoned to check dimensions of product, staff were very helpful and pleasant. Furniture arrived on time and I was phoned pre delivery to check the time and date suited, even the delivery driver was very pleasant cheerful and helpful, Also the product was of excellent quality. I would definitely recommend shopping at Flannigan’s and would definitely shop there again

The Corona cabinets are beautiful and assembly was easy due to clear instructions. The end product is perfect.
The only negative was the lack of updates regarding delay in delivery and expected delivery dates. Regular weekly update messages would have eased frustration caused by supplier delay.

Really happy with my product, orderred a Corona unit. Was able to order the furniture I wanted at a competitive price (I shopped around). Good to use an Irish website. Delivery for my particular product was approx 3 weeks as it wasnt in the warehouse (was quoted 3-4 weeks when ordering) so really happy with that (especially in the run up to Xmas). Came in good condition. No complaints.

From start to finish a nightmare. I ordered a sofa in October (middle of). To arrive the 2nd of November. No contact. No delivery by the 2nd week. I called them. It was to arrive the next week, nothing. 24th of November and nothing still 4 let downs. I cancelled the order and a refund was requested. I was assured countless of times it was processed, nothing. Only one decent that helped was a girl Rose. Everyone else had no clue and false promises. I had to apply to AIB for a refund and just got it today. Avoid, save yourself the hassle.

Very disappointed, I ordered a wardrobe for my son for his birthday and the delivery time quoted on the site was 1-3 weeks and earlier if in stock, when I looked at my order form it said that the delivery time was approx 2-4 weeks, I emailed to see exactly when we would receive it and got no reply, I emailed a further 2 times and still received no reply. I eventually found a phone number that worked and spoke to a lady who informed me that this particular wardrobe would not be available until after Christmas, I informed her of the fact that it was still on the website as deliveryfor 1-3 weeks and told her that it was deceiving people and that it should be amended, I requested my money back, she asked if I would hold off and she would see if there was any chance they could get it to me before Christmas, so I did but after emailing again and after 2 more calls was told that it would definitely be after Christmas so I have once again requested my money be returned, (after 6 calls and the threat of a solicitors letter my refund is finally on the way back via PayPal), meanwhile the website was still saying that the delivery time is 1-3 weeks and at no stage did it tell you that there maybe/would be a delay(I went as far as putting it in my basket for order again to check). I'm really disappointed and disillusioned with the company as is my son who originally wanted to buy from Woodies but I persuaded him that we should use one of the smaller furniture companies as Covid was having such an impact.....big mistake!

I ordered of these a couple of months ago and i had no problem atal, but i ordered a writinf desk 5 weeks ago and i have not heard a thing it says on the site 1-2 weeks then my email said 2-4 weeks but to still not of heard anothing and takes days to email back and i keep getting the same reply they will enail the supplier and find out, but my point is you shouldnt have it up for sale if use havent got it in stock 😡😡 now today i have requested a refund and i still havent recieved any email atal and im hoping to have it back by next week so i can go try get a desk before christmas.

I ordered a cabinet online and the money was taken from my account by Flanagans furniture in October 2020. I was advised by email from Flanagans furniture that the item is not in stock until February 2021 (although I note it is still available on Flanagans furniture website with a 1-3 week delivery time) so I decided to use the money for Christmas instead - and I was then planning to re-purchase the cabinet once it had come back into stock next year. I have requested a refund by email 4 times since early November 2020. I have contacted them using 3 of their email addresses - the email address that was used to contact me plus their sales email address and their customer care email address. I also contacted Flanagans furniture by telephone, where I was advised the refund would be processed that day. That was 14 days ago. I also commented on their Facebook page, comments that they have taken the time to delete as soon as I posted them rather than respond to me or process my refund. I will now be contacting my bank to seek a refund, making an official complaint to the CCPC, who enforce consumer protection law in Ireland, and will also contact Joe Duffy and Connor Pope, who both deal with consumer affairs. This company is legally obliged to refund no later than 14 days from request and they have broken the law by failing to do so - not only to me, judging by the copious negative reviews here, which I will be highlighting to the above consumer rights organisations. I have now been waiting for 29 days for my refund, for an item they did not have in stock but processed my payment anyway 41 days ago. I do NOT recommend this company to any future customers and will not be purchasing the cabinet from them next year, as I had originally planned to do. Why are Flanagans furniture ignoring their customers repeated requests for refund and why are they refusing to refund money which is not theirs? WHEN will they refund MY money to me? Shocking behaviour and appalling customer service from Flanagans furniture.
Update - refund finally received but no contact from the company with any apology or explanation for delay in processing refund.
