We’re sorry to hear about your reaction to the Ectoin BarrierBuild Milk. Some active ingredients can cause a tingling or slightly sore sensation when first introduced, especially if your skin isn’t used to them yet. However, it shouldn’t feel uncomfortable or persist beyond the initial applications.

From what you’ve described, it may be that your skin barrier is a little compromised at the moment, which can make skin more reactive to new products. In this case, it can really help to focus on barrier support first. Our Ectoin BarrierBuild Milk is designed exactly for this as it helps calm redness, reduce sensitivity, and strengthen the skin barrier so your skin feels more comfortable and resilient again.

We’d recommend pausing actives for now and keeping your routine simple while your skin recovers. Of course, our customer care team would be very happy to take a closer look at your routine and guide you on how to reintroduce products safely.

Thanks so much for your lovely words and we completely understand how disappointing it is when a long-time favourite disappears.

After careful consideration, we decided to discontinue this products as it didn’t receive the level of demand from our community that we needed to keep producing it. Not every product gets to stay forever and we’re so grateful to everyone who loved it and supported it.

We know that doesn’t make it any easier, especially when it’s something that worked so well for you. In terms of alternatives, we’d love to help you find the closest match:

For CeraQuench Night Cream, our Retinol Firming Moisturiser 0.3% (scented version) is the closest in texture and format. It’s a rich, cream-based moisturiser that deeply hydrates while helping to smooth and firm the skin.

For Rosehip Rejuvenating Face & Body Oil, if you were mainly using it on the face, our CeraNight Rejuvenating Night Oil is a great option. It offers nourishing, non-greasy hydration, supports the skin barrier, and helps with overnight repair thanks to ceramides and soothing actives. For body use, we don’t currently have a direct alternative.

We’re sorry to hear that accessing the remaining product in the Blemicalm Azelaic Acid 15% Clarifying Serum bottle has been difficult. We appreciate that, especially with higher-strength formulations, you want to be able to use every last bit.

Our airless packaging is designed to protect the formula and keep it stable, but we understand it can sometimes make it tricky to reach the final portion. We’ve shared your feedback with our product team as we’re always looking to improve.

In the meantime, a few tips that may help you get the most out of your bottle:

- Tap the base of the bottle firmly on a flat surface to help move product toward the pump
- Store the bottle upside down for a short period before use
- Pump slowly and repeatedly, as airless systems sometimes need a few presses to push remaining product through

We’re really sorry to hear about your frustration with the packaging on your Peptide Firming Eye Cream. We completely understand how disappointing it is when product is wasted, that’s absolutely not the experience we want you to have.

The eye cream comes in an aluminium tube, which can become a little over-pressurised during transport. This occasionally causes some product to dispense when the cap is first removed, even without applying pressure.

A few tips that can help:

Before opening, gently tap the tube on a flat surface while upright to let air move to the top.

Open it slowly and upright to release any built-up pressure gradually.

Store at room temperature and avoid keeping the tube in warm or humid places.

Our team is reviewing the packaging to minimise this issue in future batches. Please reach out to us at help@facetheory.com, we’d be happy to arrange a replacement or another suitable solution for you.
