I purchased several items (apparel) online to give as Christmas gifts. The order arrived timely. I received all the items ordered. So far, so good but read on… Upon inspection of the order, I found the quality of many items to be poor and I felt uncomfortable giving the items as gifts. So, I decided to return part of the order. Here’s where things got tricky, read on… In speaking with Demoya, the “Customer No Service” Rep, then, Katie, the “Customer No Service” Supervisor, and finally, Moesha, the “Customer No Service” Manager, I learned that there is inequity in how the 30-day return period is implemented. The clock starts when the order is SHIPPED to the customer (not received by the customer) but the clock ends when the order is RECEIVED by the company (not shipped to the company). If the 30-day countdown starts before I even receive the order and I have to return it several days in advance to ensure delivery by day 30, the return period is really 2 weeks, maybe less. A more fair policy would be to start and stop the clock at the same point for both the customer and the company — either the ship date or the delivery date on both ends. I am extremely disappointed. Now, you’ve been warned. Beware of this subtle “Gotcha” practice. Fool me once… well, you know the rest. Especially Yours, do better!!!

Looks are definitely deceiving, Merchandise was nothing as advertised. I had to return it. They take their time in refunding and then rip you off with bogus made up charges. My item was never taken from box because upon opening I saw the color and texture was all wrong. The receipt reads by using their shipping label a charge of $9.95 + $1.00

March 1 Disrespectful
March 1, 2023 I received a coupon for 10 dollar off plus deferred payment until April. I love these products so I say great. I place my order, got deferred payment but not the 10 dollar off because sale rep it was apart of the code I provided. I asked to speak with a manager. Upon speaking with the manager who told me that they didn’t send out a coupon promoting that offer I stated I had 3 of them, can I copy & paste or send you and email showing that you did send these email to me. No, no way that cant be done, her manager told her that the email is a lie. I asked to speak with the her manager and was put on hold for infinity. So Unprofessional and Disrespectful. I’m done with this company
Poor Customer and Poor Quality Never Again
The items looks better on the website or the catalog. This was my second time ordering and my last. A red suit that I ordered has number 16 written on the collar. The dresses look very cheap and poor quality. All items has been sent back waiting for my full refund. There is not enough space for me to write about the customer service that is worst! I placed an order about 9:00 p.m. PST to have a female accept the call. She appeared half-asleep as she was no doubt hired from home. Not only this, she was so unprofessional and smart alecky! She rushed me until I almost canceled the call. While placing the order, I explained that I wanted the payment deferred as I was ordering from a catalog that offered this. Lol and behold, when I checked my bank account online the next morning, she had processed the payment at the time the order was placed. I agree that this company needs to be reprimanded for the quality of people they hire! There's no reason to be rude when people are keeping you in business. When I phoned the following morning, of course. I heard the same story that nothing could be done. SHAME ON YOU!

SCAM ALERT!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE
I ordered two of the same wigs from this place based on the picture on their website. I had ordered two of them last year from a different company so I knew what they should look and feel like. The wigs I received were extremely cheap and not what was pictured online. I returned both of them and called to have the original shipping fee refunded because they did not send what I ordered. The customer service representative told me several times that it's against their policy to refund shipping fees. Eventually, I requested to speak with a supervisor who said the same thing. I told both of them I compare it to ordering an apple from their website but they send me an orange. When I return the orange because it is not what I ordered, they keep the money I paid to have the apple shipped to me. Ultimately I was told they would refund the fee as a courtesy. I am waiting for the refund for the Dollar General store looking wigs and the shipping fee. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! Sending people items that are different from what they ordered seems to be a scam and not refunding the shipping IS A BUSINESS WITHIN ITSELF!! A SCAM!! I would have rated them ZERO stars had it been an option.

No birthday gift for mom
I wanted to purchase a gift card for my mother for her birthday. I talked to 3 different people who were clueless AND we were disconnected. Finally customer Service #4, was very knowledgeable, took down all my information and informed me that it will take 7 to 10 business days. Money was never taken from my acct. I called again and talked to a supv. Nothing was processed and no information was found. Therefore, mom did not get a bday gift from me. In addition, instead of making it right all I got was an apology. Shame on especially Yours

Please watch your debit account, a “pending/ hold” status was placed twice for one of the items I was seeking to procure. Two times. So, $64.92 more than the amount that I authorized was pending on my account.
Apologetic and horrible customer service
I placed an order for a suit that came back poorly tailored and smaller than expected. I placed a second order for a different suit with the customer service representative who assured me, my 2nd suit would arrive November 12th with expedited 2 day shipping. I got a late email stating my shipment is delayed and would arrive Monday the 15th of November. I needed the suit for Sunday November 14th. I call and ask what could be done to get the suit to me on Saturday. The customer service representative said I'm sorry we don't ship over the weekends. If you thought the suit was going to be delayed why not let me know and expedite the suit overnight. "Ma'am we just read what's on the Computer' screen." I guess the computers are in charge and not the people. I have shopped With Especially Yours for the 3rd time hoping it would get better. It has not. Also your company wanted to charge my account $14.95 for "free shipping". $14.95 is not free.
The customer service rep was borderline rude. She left me on hold for an incredibly long length of time before getting me over to the shift supervisor. The shift supervisor was poorly tempered, offering to refund the $12 I paid for the expedited shipping. I asked could you not at least offer a $50 to $75 credit of the almost $200 I spent towards any future purchases considering the great inconvenience I was caused. She could only offer a .10c apology. After 24 minutes and 29 seconds of waiting for the manager, I was hung up on. I finally got to a manager for the night. Matt was unhelpful, apologetic but unhelpful. Everybody's apologizing with no solution to the misfortune they caused.
I don't have unlimited resources to keep purchasing suits that I'm not getting therefore I don't have the resources I need to go get a suit.
This is not my 1st time ordering with this company. Each time I have ordered, I've had to order my suits at least twice because they don't fit, they fit poorly, or fit smaller than expected.
I have to purchase at a second suit and and then wait to get the credit for the 1st suit that I've returned. Therefore a suit costs me twice as much as it would had the order been correct the 1st time.
My credit card was charged $14.95 in a previous order, without my permission for "free shipping". If I've got to pay $14.95 for shipping that aint free.
It is a colossal understatement to say I am dissatisfied with your services. You have cost me my time, and financial resources dealing with you. I'd say I'm aggravated with your company but I'm sure it's apparent>. When a person is unhappy with your services how many people will they complain to and on how many platforms?

Returned a "Pricey" dress
Returned a "Pricey" dress, it was returned back to me. I called customer service to re return it and was told that I would have to pay for Shipping as the return label was lost. My thoughts why? cant you look at my order and see that I already paid, i have the dress meaning it was shipped. She could not even look at my ticket to tell me how much shipping would cost. I'm done!
Poor Return Policy, Poor customer service, Keep your Money
I bought 5 items in clothes and shoes for $295.05 in one order and the company shipped them in two separate orders because one item was not in stock. The items fitted too large (except one item) and I request to exchange the other 4 items for smaller sizes. Customer service was so rude that I decided to return the 4 items instead of exchange. I package the return items in one box to which the company customer service says they would deduct $9.95 for return shipping. Well, they only refunded me $202.02 and the cost of the item I kept cost $39.99. They kept $45 with no explanation. I will never purchase from them ever again. They are a rip-off and customer service is nice before you purchase and afterwards they were very rude. I called to inquiry why they did not refund me the cost minus the items I kept, plus shipping and the lady says they charge 2 shipping costs because there were two original packages (even though one package was returned), then she assumed that the rest of the items I returned were probably not in the original boxes. Additionally, the clothes looked good in the pictures but the shoes are very unstable and wobbly - poorly made and the clothes have no hemming nor have a nice finish look. Again, you can find better quality with other companies, just not EY.
Shut Them Down!
I received a promo email from Especially Yours on 4/26/2021. I placed an on-line order on 4/27/2021 and used the promo code in the email. I was overcharged on my order. I called them to get this adjusted with the deferred billing department. EVERYONE in that department that I spoke to was rude and nasty. I was called a liar, I was told the email that I received did not exist. I finally spoke to Barbara Duff and she asked me to email a copy of the email that I received. She asked to put me on hold while she viewed the email. She left me on hold and never came back to the phone. I had to call them 6 times and spent 3 hours on the phone. I was informed that Barbara went to lunch, while I was still holding on the phone. After 3 more calls, I was able to speak to Barbara again-she offered no apology or explanation as to why she left me on hold. She did admit that the email did exist, but said she could do nothing about it because it was a marketing error. Two days later, I received an email from Karen MacLeod. This email contained all of their customer's deferred orders...information that I should not have seen! I am still appalled with this business, and to date my issue has not been resolved. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. I am done with them. Note-this is not the first time that they have sent me a promo email and not honored what it said!

I asked they send the dress back to me then and they claim they gave my dress to charity without my ok.
