We recently instructed Ekoflow to carry out a septic tank compliance report while preparing our home for sale.

Following their inspection, they explained that the system was not compliant at the time of inspection. Rather than simply highlighting the issues, they provided a comprehensive report detailing exactly why the system failed to meet the current regulations, along with a clear breakdown of the remedial works required to bring it back into compliance.

The report was completed promptly, and the quotation for the recommended works was produced quickly and at a very fair price. There were no hidden surprises, and everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand.

We decided to proceed with Ekoflow to complete the remedial works, and the entire process was carried out professionally and efficiently. Following completion, we were able to confidently put our home on the market, knowing the wastewater system now complies with the current regulations.

We can’t thank the team at Ekoflow enough for their professionalism, reliability and extensive knowledge. If you’re buying or selling a property with a septic tank or sewage treatment plant, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Home buyers beware!
Do not use this company for advice, compliance reports, or home buyers reports. They will overlook serious problems in favour of the house seller.
For example marking things as in 'good condition' on the reports when they are VERY obviously seriously degraded and in need of replacement.
This could cost a home buyer tens of thousands of pounds, after hiring so called 'experts'to inspect and confirm all is good at a house they are buying, only to complete on the house purchase and find a drainage system in need of a complete overhaul.
I cannot think why they would outright lie about the condition of a drainage system on a home-buyers survey. Me, the home buyer and who commissioned the survey, was not present, whereas the home seller was present. I leave you to make your own conclusions as to why the visiting engineer would do the house seller such a favour, that could save them £10,000 in a house price renegotiation...
Not only did they overlook serious issues, they also provided no advice or information as to the location of any faults that they did identify. So to get anything fixed you are obliged to use them again as they will be the only people who know where the faults are. The home buyers report and compliance survey do NOT tell you where any faults or repairs are located, what needs doing,and what it might cost.
Ekoflow also seem to have exceptionally bad knowledge of the law and legislation when it comes to drainage. Very concerning.
Ekoflow refunded the cost of the home buyers survey and compliance survey, as they were clearly not worth the paper they were written on.
I have written this review as some people may be less observant or with less experience in what sort of info these reports should contain. As mentioned above this could cost them many thousands of pounds, as you will be essentially buying the property blind, with your reports from Ekoflow saying "all is good" when serious issues may have been overlooked.
Do not hire this company for anything more complicated than emptying a septic tank.

Staff friendly and polite

Efficient and prompt service at a reasonable price. I know a bit more about how a Tricel treatment plant works now thanks to the friendly engineer. The receptionist was also super efficient and I was impressed with the speed of report delivery and invoicing - a no-hassle experience!

Engineer turned up on time and was very polite and helpful. Cost of service for 45 minutes at best is very high in my opinion.

From booking to emptying everything was seamless. Ben who arrived on the day was so friendly with great advice, super efficient and quick. Highly recommended

This company are nothing but rip off merchants. They came out to my house to 'quote' me for a new system. The quote came back 3 times as much as anyone else so they thought they'd be clever to try and rip me off. They then had the cheek to invoice me for coming out to look at the system and tried to pass it off as a service. Too round it off, they have harassed me for payment on WhatsApp and email and sent me childish debt collection notices. I strongly advise you against using this company.

Very quick and helpful.

What a great company. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive but certainly the keenest with a real focus on customer services. There were a few challenges on the job, all sorted out with a common sense approach and a smile on the face. You know they care when the boss gets dressed up to do the heavy lifting. Well worth using. They won't be a disappointment and you get what you pay for in my humble opinion.

I had an issue with my drainage and Ekoflow resolved the same day! Danny who came was brilliant. I would highly recommend Ekoflow and the team
