Altijd te laat of nie komen opdagen

Recently got a mortgage with EBS and I wish to thank Gabriela from Wexford branch, she made the whole process so easy for myself and my partner.
Whatever question I had, I just emailed (I understand she is very busy, so it was easier to write an email) and got a reply within the same day.
It was just a couple of months from our first meeting untill we moved to our forever home and I find it more than a reasonable timeframe as it involves more than just a bank (EBS) to finalise buying.
Gabriela was strict but fair, explained every step in the whole process.
I see some bad reviews here, but my ecperience with EBS is completely different.

Elke dag weer kommer en kwel met EBS. Ik ben inmiddels op het punt aangekomen dat ik 5x per week standaard maar 40 minuten van huis naar het treinstation loop en weer terug omdat je letterlijk 0% kan rekenen op EBS. Snel opdoeken dit bedrijf. Beschamend voor het OV en als reiziger heb je er echt niets aan.

Wat een amateuristisch bedrijf is dit er is dagelijks wel wat met bus 51 Denhaag -Rijswijk heb 3 kinderen met abonnement en nog moet ik ze naar school brengen omdat er weer uitval is of te laat komt 🤢

Ebs gaat door tot dat ze de verkeerde tegen komen. het is niet normaal dat wij heel veel moeten betalen voor zo dienst of ze komen te laat of hellemaal niet kom op zeg we zijn geen dier maar mensen

bus 64 in zaanstad altijd vertraging. meestal komen de bussen niet opdagen. ze komen te laat of te vroeg. kaulo ebs mijn rug is kapot gegaan

Door jullie kk vaders, kom ik te laat op school. Ik werd er gewoon uitgestuurd door jullie kk lijers, ps. Jullie rijden kk agressief ik vloog naar zuid Somalië door jullie kk lijers

No customer service. Nobody answers phone, messages left are ignored. 2 appointments made in person in branch to open savings account but, on the day of both occasions, EBS staff member said they were not "qualified" to open accounts. They already knew what I wanted to do when they organised the appointment. 4 visits to the branch, nil result - complete waste of time. Simply appalling service!

Zeer slechte vervoersbedrijf. Zonder enige bericht worden op laatste moment ritten geschrapt. Bussen komen niet opdagen of te laat. Geen info daarover of info klopt niet. Vaak anderhalve uur zitten wachten omdat er werd aangegeven dat bus wel rijd volgens planning. Sommige chauffeurs zijn onbeschoft, rijden haltes voorbij terwijl stopknop is ingedrukt.

My mortgage experience with EBS. I had been working with another bank and they just gave me the run around and I was recommended to go to the EBS branch in Carlow. I have to say the person i dealt with was brilliant very clear when requesting further information explaining the whole process.
It did take some time to get through it all so sit back and brace yourself for the ride

They could have a better way to manage the way you give your documents like an online portal rather than sending via email which can be very messy

I did avail of a cash back offer which they kind of entice you in with if your expecting this to move into the house forget about it takes at least 2 months to get this into your account which i was a little bit surprised some people would depend on this for various things when moving into a new house

Slechtse vervoersbedrijf ooit. Bussen komen keer na keer niet opdagen. Het is altijd maar stressen en afwachten of de bus komt wanneer ik moet reizen.

Not possible to get onto online banking after 6pm

Slechtste bedrijf ooit. Chagrijnige buschauffeurs die geen boe of ba tegen je zeggen bij binnenkomst. Bussen die elke keer uitvallen waardoor je weer half uur uur staat te wachten. Echt schandalig het is dat ik ze nodig heb maar anders. Hopen dat ze gauw failliet gaan bah.

Elke dag te laat. Kaartjes systeem doet het niet en dan boos op mij worden dat ik geen ov chipkaart heb.

Buschauffeur laat meerdere mensen bij de halte staan die geen saldo op hun ov hebben en een kaartje willen kopen.

Dat ik maar een ov chipkaart moet aanschaffen omdat hun systeem het niet doet.

Brutaal en onvriendelijk vind ik het.

Structureel te laat problemen met school kind verplicht met fiets anders inspectie op je dak schandalig
Wel een abonnement elke maand verdorie en niks terug

Криворукие дауны которые делали эти приложения и зачем 6лят* 3 приложения??? Ни#уя не работает, я 6ля*ь даже перевести на карту деньги не могу, по 100500 кодов вводить только чтобы баланс проверить, постоянно выходит из приложения, Ни%уя не посмотришь, номера карты в приложении нет. Криворукие долб@ебы которые это создавали

Very helpful team at the branch in Killarney, very informative and helpful and an overall fairly pleasant experience from start to finish of the mortgage process.

Tiefus lijers zogenaamde personeels tekort

Somehow this building society has gone from great little service to save money with.. to a massive pain in the rear. The HOOPS you have to jump through to access your OWN money.
Cannot log in to app at all because access code never works. Lord forbid you change phones because that's out the window.
Changed services to 1 teller and its now a cold feel no actual customer service.
I predict this bank falling the way Irish Nationwide did.
