I mistakenly purchased through this website rather than via the authentic website. Caused me a lot of hassle and stress, this is one thing i did not want to risk, getting a fake skin pen. I eventually did receive the product however was clear that this was sent from China and when I complained they offered me half the money back to keep the item. I did return at quite an expense to a long address in China, they did refund my money without postage but I lost out on large shipment costs. PLEASE AVOID!! It is a shame the website looks so similar and they advertise for this website to come up along side the real one. If you are already reading these reviews I hope it is before purchase as not after as I later found!

I had the same issues as everyone else . During Covid I did not want an item sent from China .Although the website indicates “ their offices” are located in San Jose California , it’s a blatant outright lie .The stated business address 3277 S White Road 95148 , is actually Postal Annex , not their offices - itch don’t have no office ! I received a USED Dr.Pen absent the owner manual and original packaging , the model I received was NOT the model I actually ordered ! The phone number listed as a contact is actually solicitating life insurance with no option for human interaction . Emailing back and forth with Sophie Brown ( no doubt an alias ) I was instructed to send back to warehouse in China for an exorbitant amount of shipping fees . This website needs to be shut down and the owner needs to be arrested for consumer fraud . I am confident Karma will settle the score with these evil-doers whom choose to victimize others , if not already living a miserable life , hence the need to steal from others - no ability to earn a honest living , probably prostituting themselves for pocket change too. DO NOT FILE ONLINE CLAIM WITH PAYPAL , CALL THIS NUMBER AND SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE to verbally explain the FRAUD to them @ 888- 221-1161 . I was allowed to keep the used item AND also received a 100 dollar PayPal Credit -When I initially filed my claim through resolution center it was closed after I failed to provide proof of shipping label , I refused to pay over 97 dollars to return the item to China . Keeping the item to avoid large return shipping costs is how this scammer relies on making their money , even offering 30 percent discount to keep the item . No ! - I don’t want to keep your used personal hygiene item that’s been God knows where and will last for God knows how long ! Still feeling victimized I reached out to Pay Pal via telephone to voice my displeasure with their “ closed case “ , After proving the cost to return the item to China was far beyond reasonable I was happy to recoup 100 of the 140 dollars I spent .

Definitely a scam. I disputed with PayPal and apparently it’s been delivered to me. I didn’t get it. But I’m too busy in the hospital and no more energy to chase this headache. I just put it in my bad experience basket.
Never buy these kind of item online. Wont do it again.
My friend bought this and she couldn’t find needle. It’s out of stock.
We should remember to buy titanium needle.
Be very cautious using PayPal either.

Dr pen official website is NOT made in USA it's a Chinese company, I brought it thinking it is an American company I live in New Zealand, they did worldwide shipping, like the other reviews here it was sent from China, I have sent emails but all I get back is lies, I have attached emails of my interactions for anyone who needs to see below

My 1st email:
Hi I ordered a pen and after much research it seems like your website is not legit, I googled your address and it came up with PostalAnnex+ a post shop, also the email saying you are not sending my product from USA and from China tells me you are just ordering from aliexpress and charging people alot of money when I could of ordered from their website for alot less, so I would like a refund and you can get the item redirected back to your China site, thank you.
To add on to my last email, the money taken from my account was from Hong Kong not USA.

Drpen.com is a SCAM. It is not a USA website or company. The website states made with "heart" in California. It also states that it has a 100 day return policy and they would handle shipping back to a warehouse in "my" country.

After ordering, I got concerned that I was being dupped. I tried calling several times but it went to voicemail and no one would return the call. I finally emailed and got an immediate response that if I would choose to keep the product they would give me a 30% refund and if not that I would have to pay shipping back to China. I responded to the email and advised I wanted to return it for a full refund and they NEVER responded. I emailed and called several times but no one responded.

My tracking info was from China. Basically, what it looks like it that ALL Dr. Pen products are made in China. And, can be purchased from sites like aliexpress for $65. They create "USA" websites and increase the price by $150 then stop all communication.

I had to dispute the charge through paypal. Dr. Pen responded to the dispute wanting me to mail it back to a completely different address than they originally mentioned. And, said it had to be new in box although their "100" day warranty says you can use the product.

FYI - Paypal will pay up to $30 to return a product. It can be shipped back through USPS International for $28.

I shipped it back today. And, reported them on facebook, the FTC, google and will continue.

Dr pen is a Chinese company registered on China not America they are cheating us.

I got scammed I order from drpen.com , they say it will be dilvered 3-7 days and then says coming from international wear house and then weeks go buy it never arrives they give you a fake tracking number that is not linked to any currier. Please do not buy from these you will not get your product they are stealing our money we have to stop them and report them

I would like to advise anyone considering buying from this website to be cautious. The before and afters are fake. I follow one of the girls on instagram (@emeraldxbeauty) and they use her before and afters for one of their testimonials. She actually claims to have gotten those results from using Murad products and she said she has never used Dr. Pen products. She is in the process of taking legal action. So the fake testimonials combined with all these reviews about people receiving products from China should make buyers wary! Looks elsewhere.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS NOT AUTHENTIC PRODUCT - the product ships form China not california they trick you into buying the product and refunds will be at extortionate costs back to china !

Scam!! Avoid this website!!! Once you purchase - you will receive an email that their warehouse in CA is out of stock and they shipping from China instead. If you decide to return- you will have to pay for return shipping to China- which is more than $100 !!! Ridiculous. Paypal claim will not help either. Be aware- you will be stock with that china item forever

Total Scam!!! I ordered from Dr.Pen.com official site. After ordering I got an email saying that my order is being shipped from China. I emailed Dr.pen and asked why was it coming from China? (that is exactly what I didn't want). I was told it was because they are sold out of the product in their California warehouse. I received the order and I got the blue pen not the one I ordered, the box was crushed and it is missing the cartridges and the instructions. I've called the 800 number on their website several times, and no one answers or returns my calls. Extremely unhappy!

I apparently was scammed for extra money. I paid almost $200 and although I received mine in a timely manner if you go to Penny Smith on YOUTUBE (esthetician) she has a link you can order for $50 cheaper and she does professional reviews. Her link is to Amazon so since there is such a price difference etc. I don’t feel confident or know I got the official company product. People on FB pages say Dr. Pen.com is not the official company (?). So many websites out there with this name too. I have not opened mine yet for this reason. Frustrated there is so much conflicting info out there and considering pursuing a return. I don’t feel like this company helps consumers know what is official and what is not. With that said I should have researched more before my purchase. Hate that I might have paid extra money for no reason and find out later I can’t be confident I got the official product. :(

Do not purchase from this web page. All the negative review are true. It is my fault that I didn’t do a thorough research before purchase from drpen.com! They operate and SCAM people in their old fashion way as described here by many. They sell you the item, then claim the don’t have it in California, so they ship it from China, then they to trick your by offering 30% discount out of 196$ (It is still much higher than in AliExpress). DONT FALL FOR IT. PURCHASE FROM ALIEXPRESS THREE TIMES CHEAPER.

Really happy with my Dr. Pen. I got the M8 and have found it easy to use and really high quality for the price. Have become a bit obsessed TBH and even did my mum and dad last week! Just make sure you use 5% lidocaine with it otherwise it really hurts.

i ordered and received the DrPen M8, the delivery guy called and told me that i have an item from china. im expecting it to be shipped from US since their website said so. Also written on their website made love in california. which is all false. after a couple of research and carefully browsing the website. the reviews found on their website is not clickable (5 stars) and its just a picture same with testimonials. you cant even rate on their website after purchased. their US address when search is a restaurant. My Card statement was billed to DR PEN HK.

What i like about them is they reply within a day, my first email they reply on the same business day, second i emailed at night and received a response after a day in the morning, im from asia so maybe they are also (timezone). they claim they are from US but i dont think so.

My 2nd email is about returning back the item for the refund, they accept it and gave me the shipping address which is from china Shenzhen City. they offered a 30% refund to keep the item, so for both of the convenience i accepted it with the 3rd email. after a less than 10minutes i received a refund.

Overall good experience, its my fault that i didnot research beforehand since i want my purchased to be authentic but overall they are all the same whether you buy it on amazon or aliexpress (60 US Dollars), yes i found it there by searching dr.pen m8.

in the end i got 59 dollars back out of 196. learned from my mistake and still a good experience. They are legit and they response, they just want to do business so i dont blame them.

Drpen.com ships from China despite what the website says. The website is deceitful as they are trying to portray they ship from the US. As soon as you place an order they will send an email saying they sold out from the warehouse in CA and the item will be shipped from China. I have yet to receive my order.
I don't know about drpenusa.com and now I'm weary about ordering this microneedling pen online.

This is an update for my original review, i have received an email from them confirming my shipment , and got it from china today!
The M8 is complete and it is the original box and product.

DrPen is a total scam. They just place you order on Aliexpress right after you pay them! I even got the wrong item some pink dermapen found the item indeed on Aliepress, I ordered the M8 for 196 USD and got a pink derma pen of 12 USD from Ali. Filled a complaint to Paypal. And apparently they support criminals like this and don't even investigate anything I received a dermanpen so it wasn't to much of a difference.

Fake company scammer . They are in china . The send me fake product not working only vibrate . They mentioned there company in california as i try to return it they said shipping it to china which will cost you the price of the pen . Fraud scammer . Be carful .
