Dodax 

First time leaving a bad review for any company but if anyone deserves one it's these guys. Placed my order 8 weeks ago, and got confirmation it was posted 6 weeks ago but still nothing. I have contacted the costumer service team but you are either met with a copy and pasted reply or you simply don't get a reply at all! Trust the poor reviews on here and stay away!

Bought a birthday gift for my grandson on 16th June - it never arrived and I received no reply to query as to what happened to the toy.
Now 5th August, I paid with Paypal, who have immediately refunded my money. Dodax are not a company I will ever use again.

Absolutely terrible. Will never use them again. I paid for a CD which was still "processing" after a month. Contacted them for an update. Received a very vague, standard reply. My order changed to cancelled. I waited 2 weeks but received no refund and had to get PayPal to retrieve my money. I don't know how companies like this can exist.

Failed to refund me for an unfulfilled and cancelled order, had to go through a PayPal dispute to get my money back.

I've ordered from Dodax twice. The first time was a CD and it did arrive, but it took a long time for them to send it, despite the initial claim the item was in stock. This could have been a supplier issue, so I decided to use them again.

The second order was for two CDs. One was allegedly dispatched, but never arrived. I attempted to communicate with Dodax about this, but received only an automated response, no human customer service appears to be available. The second CD was cancelled, as they could not fulfill it.

Dodax failed to refund me for either of these orders. The fact that they cancelled an order and tried to keep the money should be an alarm bell on its own. They have no customer service to speak of, and my refund was only thanks to PayPal's dispute system.

I'm inclined to believe that Dodax list items in stock that they don't have, but assume they can get from a supplier. This works fine if they can get the item, even though it's slow. But, if the supplier availability has changed, Dodax will not fulfill the order, but apparently will keep your money anyway.

Dodax are not the cheapest site for a lot of the stuff they sell, so I'd only risk using them if you really, really want something you can't get elsewhere, and use a service like PayPal so you have a chance of getting back your money when it goes wrong.

In the interests of fairness, as a final point I note that it may well be the case, judging from other reviews, that Dodax may be going out of business or experiencing issues, hence the lack of response to customers and cancelled orders. It seems like they may not actually be fulfilling orders at all anymore.

I've been using Dodax for CDs for years and they've been mostly excellent. Perfect product at great prices. My go to for out of print discs. Twice I had to make an enquiry and both times they responded and resolved the issue. Sadly, I just read that they are believed to have filed for bankruptcy which explains the sudden 'shutdown'

Do not order anything from dodax: possible bankruptcy Ordered on 27jun22 cd from dodax, which would be delivered by mail around 5-7jul22! Sent a message on 26Jul22 that my CD had not yet been received and if there are any problems with delivery! Received nothing, no response to my message, so looked at reviews and turned out not to be the only one who does not receive anything or gets a response from dodax! Dodax may be bankrupt, but luckily paid with Paypal, which refunded my payment to my bank account! So pay via webshops with PayPal for example so that the money is returned in case of problems

Ein Stern ist zuviel. Bestellt vor 6 Wochen. Storniert vor 3 Wochen. Online wird Auftrag als storniert angezeigt. Mehrere Emails geschrieben wegen Rückzahlung. Keine Reaktion. Obwohl in der Schweiz als insolvent angezeigt, kann man auf der deutschen Seite noch immer bestellen. Das halte ich für Betrug. Hoffe nur, dass mir PayPal das Geld zurückzahlt

Ich wollte es nicht glauben als ich die bisherigen Rezensionen gelesen habe.. Vor allem weil ich desöfteren in Vergangenheit dort bestellt habe - ohne Probleme. Aber es stimmt tatsächlich: Ware bezahlt, keine Lieferung. Plötzlich wurde die Ware storniert ohne irgendeine Mitteilung. Es wurde auch keine Rückzahlung veranlasst! 3 Nachrichten geschrieben, keine Antwort! Für mich ist das eindeutig Betrug und ich würde jedem abraten hier zu bestellen.

KAUFT HIER NICHT. Ich habe das Geld sofort überwiesen. Die Ware kam und kam nicht. Als ich nach Wochen in den Bestellstatus schaute, stand dort STORNIERT. Kein Grund. Keine Email an mich. Auf meine Forderung mir mein Geld zurückzuüberweisen, wurde bislang nicht reagiert (per Email und übers Telefon).

Ware bezahlt, nie erhalten.

Eigentlich nicht mal den einen Stern dürfte es geben. Wie viele andere Nutzer, so ist es auch bei mir so, dass bestellte und im Voraus bezahlte Ware nach einigen Tagen storniert wurde. Auf Anfrage kam eine vorgefertigte Antwort, mit dem Hinweis, dass nur Zahlungswege angeboten werden, die sich auch zurückbuchen lassen, was eine Lüge ist. Ich habe über giropay bezahlt, wo es diese Möglichkeit meines Wissens und Versuche nicht gibt. Auf weitere Mails, wovon ich seit nunmehr vier Wochen etliche geschrieben habe, wird seither nicht reagiert. BITTE LASST DIE FINGER VON DIESEM "LADEN"!!! Ihr tut euch damit selber einen Gefallen. Zahlt lieber etwas mehr bei seriöse Anbieter! LG

order cancelled itself and money still not refunded. i bought i music cd on dodax after 2 weeks no sign of it, i started looking. turns out my order was cancelled without a reason and i did not get a refund at al. customer service wont answer my emails and there telephone number is not in use. if this aint a scam they sure know how to fu(k up.

Don't buy from these people!! I have been waiting for over 3 months purchasing through Amazon. dodax is a Total Scam! They refuse to give me any tracking information stating unavailable.

Kann mich leider nur den Meinungen anschließen.
Bestellung nicht bekommen. Die erste Mail wurde noch mit sinngemäß "leider verzögert, Sie können aber stornieren" abgefertigt. Nun arbeitet die "Firma" Dodax bereits 2 Monate mit meinem Geld.
Auch nach Aufforderung keine Stornierung, keine Erstattung, keine Ware.
Der schlechteste Onlineshop, den ich je erlebt habe. Masche? (Stille Vermutung und persönliche Meinung)

Solche Shops sollten verboten werden.

Mehr Unfähigkeit geht nicht.

1 Monat auf eine Lieferung gewartet bis ich dann storniert habe. Angegeben waren ein paar Tage.

Jetzt warte ich seit über 2 Wochen auf die Erstattung.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. My order was placed and payment taken at order placement via debit card. Chased up the order by email 2 weeks later and got an automated response stating the delivery was on it's way. Checked the order on the dodax.co.uk website to find it had been cancelled. When I chased up a refund Dodax suggested (via another automated email) that I used the banking chargeback system rather than issuing a refund as any reputable company would. A further email requesting a refund has gone unanswered. My guess is that this is their standard response in the hope that people don't follow up on small purchases as it's a hassle. Unfortunately for Dodax I'm prepared to go to a great deal of trouble over this as there's a principal at stake as well as money. Others seem to have similar issues with this company. If my experience is typical my advice would be not to go near them.

There was a time Dodax would receive a good review from me. Competitive charges for cds, but it would take a good 2-3 weeks to arrive. Now something has seriously changed. Dodax cancelled 4 cds orders without notifying me and refunding me. On top of that, 3 cds never arrived. I messaged Dodax and received no reply. I sent one more email to Dodax before I escalate to Paypal.

Bad service, i have cancelled my order and i didn't get my money

I was informed my item is out of stock, while it was being sold and stock numbers were increased on the website every few days. I've never received the item, the seller cancelled my order but have never issued a refund. Dodax was in contact with me until my order was cancelled, since then no any answer and no money back.
