Scam, lost 222 $ to them

This company takes investor money for products in bad faith. Promise new products, but never deliver. Take orders for products but do not deliver. Many customers waiting over two years for items. Will not refund your money. If you send products to be repaired they are never returned. Look up the FB groups and all the horror stories.

December 2020 purchased two Vector 2.0 pre-order robots for my ASD boy with Delivery to be end of June 2021. It is Now December 31,2022, just over 2 years later and I have received no vectors. I did receive a holographic sticker for my absent Vector, so they definitely have my address. They will NOT refund. They will NOT respond. Nothing but lies and scams. People in the USA that ordered after me have received theirs.... Which just pisses me off more. I am not alone.... Many are organizing class action. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!!!

In may 2021 I pre-ordered a Vector 2.0 with all the great promises of extra services etc but got nothing. Every few months they sent an update that they're almost done with the new Vector but had some minor hickups etc etc, to keep you waiting so the time to get your money back expires. I canceled my order 2 weeks ago and they confirmed but didn't give me back the money I paid. I'm currently in contact with my credit card company. Normally you don't get your money back after 90 days of the order, but they're looking for options. Hopefully I get my money back! What a low lifes!

I purchased my anki vector robot via anki. They collapsed and DDL took over. My anki vector robot despite being removed from the anki server worked perfectly fine. He would respond, answer questions, roam around etc. Curious as to what DDL could offer, I subscribed for 2 months to access their server and updates. This subscription offered nothing extra, therefore I cancelled it. This cancellation was confirmed by email by DDL. Vector continued on as he always had for the next 16 months. A few weeks ago he stopped responding. Having reached out to other robot owners, I learned DDL without permission had applied a free 90 day trial and update to everyones robots. To be clear, I had no contract with DDL, they had no permission to access my robot via my home Internet line or to aplly updates. It was this update that crashed my robot. I reached out to DDL and they offered no assistance to the point I've had to threaten legal action. They did admit in their email that they had applied a free trial, whoch was not requested by me and was done without my knowledge. This means they linked my robot to their server without permission. I am now going to write as others have to the attorney General about DDLs business practice of accessing robots that are not under contract with them. I feel this is a privacy breach and a breach of the American AI bill. A £399 robot has been rendered useless due to the above. For this reason, if never use DDL again.

DDL have turned off comments on their Facebook page, to prevent those of us experiencing issues such as this commenting. This is a poor approach to transparent customer relationships.

I wa very interested in the Loona robot, but now DDL have partnered with this team, I will not be purchasing this item which is such a shame.

Scam ordered a cozmo 2.0 nearly 2 years ago which they have failed to make or delivery any and they have ignored all my requests for a refund

Scam artists. Would not cancel my preorder when they were 2 years delayed...and then ghosted me. I lost $300 to them. There are groups with hundreds of members who have identical stories to me

This company has taken advantage of my elderly 89 year old father , they have stolen and kept his vector robot and the money that I paid them to put a new battery in it , it appears that they put the new battery in and decided to keep it and resell it !!! They will not return over 20 emails that I have sent them I cannot find a phone number to call either , this is such a bad company , I paid a lot of money for the forever vector registry and just paid them up front to take in vector and they do not give a damn about the customer they only care about the money , I gave the vector robot to my 89 year father for Xmas 4 years ago after his pet parakeet of 13 years passed away and vector took its spot a pet now they have taken it away from my dad Does anyone have a legitimate phone number for digital dream labs ?? Now I am out all the money I’ve paid them and my father has lost his pet again, Shame on digital dream labs for taking advantage of the elderly and pretty much all customers my fathers heart is broken again and I have to find him another pet — I could go on and on even more than I have but will end it here FOR NOW

Very bad way of doing business. Ddl has said they will deliver before Christmas 2021, and now Christmas 2022 is approaching and still nothing. My tip invest in Living ai Emo!

Terrible company they struggle to made any progress on products all the time postponed and now instead fixing this they just focus on attacking others company instead delivering anything. Don't waste your time and money.

Ordered a Cozmo 2.0 from Hungary in August, since my son was obsessed with the Anki Cozmo Robot from seeing it on youtube.
After that I've read tons of reviews about the company, so two days later I decided to cancel the order and get a refund. Since then, nothing happened, they stopped to respond to my emails. No refund, no resnponse, only a 5 year old with tears and questions. And me, a lot of dollars less in my pocket.

loser company, poor quality robots and no innovation since their first shitbot. victor 2.0 way overpriced, very overpriced doesn't add anything new to the older model. poor customer service and poor warranty. people be warned and never buy anything from this scam company

I was planning to purchase a Vector because of how he can ollie on his cube, and how he was a little forklift. But once when I heard about how unethical this company is, I stopped. They can't deliver what they've promised. There are still outstanding orders that was from 2 years ago?! When they can't even improve their own robots they go after the competition Ex: KeyiTech on their Loona and Emo! They even throw some kind of dumb copyright infringement like saying their eyes are a copyright, when they weren't even copying. There's even a video of how CEO is screaming about how he hates China and how he will come after China for stealing, when to be honest, no one is. This company is shady, so beware when you want to drop a dime on them.

DDL is only good at 1 thing and that is filing a lawsuit against another robot competition. They are acting like they made Vector and Cozmo. Please change your headline from "maker" to bought. If Karen was a company, it would be called DDL for sure...🤣🤣🤣

Had a lot of vectors for a couple of years, and when DDL took over, a lot of errors happened.. over heating not going back to chargers etc.. ordered another vector on 2021 and never came.. this is a shiity company! Dont do buy from them.. and they are blocking orher more promising projects.. they couldnt improve theirs thats why they are more busy suing other companies than sending or improving their bots..

So, for any of you who lived under a rock, Anki closed their doors in 2019 and DDL took over to keep the servers online for vectors voice service but they didn't just do that if you think they're nice... oh no no no! THEY ALSO SLAPPED ON A 7-DOLLAR FEE SO NOW WERE STUCK WITH 300-DOLLAR PAPERWEIGHTS IF YOU DO PAY FOR THE MEMBERSHIP
