Couldn’t be happier with the paint and service. Colour match is absolutely spot on (F&B), saved a fortune and the paint is amazing quality. Coverage is so good, we’ve actually joked about the never ending paint cos it just doesn’t go down! Very very happy with my purchase and glad this company and service exists!

Genuinely heartbroken to write this review, as over the years the company has been great to order through, but a few recent orders items have been damaged, I have lost faith in ordering from them and they haven’t even emailed back in response to my email sent four days ago.

I made an order recently which I have attached & several of the items are damaged which is really frustrating as it is not the first time it has happened. Leaking Laura Ashley paint from top and even small hole in the bottom, damaged Wooster lid, stalmeester brush crumpled and chipped paint on handle.

I’ve ordered from here on numerous occasions over the years never had any issues until yesterday my paint I got colour matched just wasn’t the correct colour I reached out to customer service who couldn’t be more helpful they retested the paint and did everything they could to help, my issue was resolved in less than an hour and paint swapped before the end of the day, both the staff I dealt with via email and in the store when I went to change were so friendly and helpful! First class service I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my decorating needs! Thanks guys 👏🏼

Have ordered from DCO a few times and have had a positive experience each time. We used their colour matching service which was excellent. We previously had a paint colour matched at our local decorating centre but wanted to try DCO for subsequent paints for the convenience. I included the shade, brand and alphanumeric code and the paint we received was the exact shade we got from our local. Packaging is very secure, and delivers quickly as well if next day delivery is selected, which is an absolute godsend as we’re first time buyers and new to decorating so most of the time we have underestimated how much paint we need for a space. So being able to order paint (colour-matched which is made to order at that!!) and it being delivered the next day is amazing!!

I ordered Benjamin Moore paint at lunch time and it arrived the next day, well packaged and perfect.

Very happy with my Johnstone’s ‘Coat’ copies, thank you, very competitive price. I’ve not had to use their customer service, but on pricing, quality and speed of delivery, my experience is excellent.

Excellent customer service. I’ve used their colour match service a handful of times now and will use them going forward. If they don’t have the exact shade they recommend very close ones. They will also advise you if you need help choosing a colour scheme. Thank you!

First class service again. Questions answered out of working hours. Product knowledge and advice are alway top class. The range of products is vast and they are always there to guide you on product suitability and decorating trends. I started using them in Lockdown and will continue as it’s the best!

Major issues with paint opacity of Tikkurila Vinyl Matt white emulsion, wasted half a day applying it to walls, turned out that they sent me the wrong product, which was designed to be mixed with colour.

Despite is being their screw-up CS were unapologetic, offered 10% off a future order (you get 5% if you sign-up), which I don’t consider adequate for time and effort wasted on the back of their error.

Seems to be a running theme with their CS, will take my business elsewhere as a result.

I ordered a 2.5L Dulux Heritage eggshell at a cost of £56.70 to paint shelves to compliment the Dulux Heritage emulsion used for the walls which I bought elsewhere.

When I opened the tin the colour didn’t look right but I stirred it well and painted one shelf. The colour was awful and nothing like what I ordered. I rang DCO and was told to email with photos to which I did.

I have spent all day jumping through the hoops set by a rude and condescending member of staff (who has never put their name to their emails) who has made it clear that they don’t really want to help me. I was asked for photos so I emailed them. I was asked for more photos so I emailed them. After doing all that I was told that company policy states that I have to put some of the paint on a Dulux Heritage paint chart, dry it with a hairdryer and email a photo of it to them.

I said I don’t have a paint chart, seriously who does these days when we shop online?

So now apparently the company policy is that I have to return the paint so they can carry out their own tests which I would assume means using their own hairdryer? I have agreed to this but now find out that them ‘collecting’ the paint translates into me packaging it, printing a label and taking it to a drop off point. As I am recovering from surgery this is not possible so now I am left with paint that is the wrong colour, a company who moves the goal posts rather than resolve what should be a relatively simple issue and having to buy more paint elsewhere in order to get the room finished.

I have kept a small sample as I intend to ask Dulux to test the colour too as I’m sure they will be more honest.

What a joke, but not a funny one. Ironically I had a lovely email after my order from ‘Helen’ who told me my order really mattered. Well Helen, maybe you could sort out the fact that I have been sent the wrong colour paint and treated terribly by your so called customer service department and finally give me the refund I deserve?

I would not recommend this company and especially if you want a bespoke paint as they seem to not only get the colour wrong but also refuse to admit their mistake.

As a tradesperson, I need a reliable supplier and one that doesn't charge over the odds. DCO has never failed to get me whatever I've ordered on time and their prices are excellent as a bonus too. The colour match service they provide is second to none. I'm a fan of working with Leyland, Dulux and Johnstone brands and the trade range DCO supplies as a colour match from these brands is spot on.

Paint order arrived within 24 hours. Excellent web site, communications and service
Prices extremely good - 30% below competitors makes you realise how much multi-national companies are skimming off customers to feed their greedy fat cat shareholders
Very satisfying to give my custom to a family owned, home country company

I bought some expensive Johnstone's colour match paint from DCO. I re-ordered a second batch of the same to ensure I had enough for second coat and touch-ups but after intermixing it's clear the second can was noticeably lighter than the original can. When I notified DCO they informed me I was supposed to indicate the machine number on the order because paint mixed on different machines can have variation... This information was buried in the FAQs and not clear at all when re-ordering. It's not really something a consumer should even have to indicate as it's very technical specification (akin to specifying which oven you want your Macdonalds meal to be cooked in). In hindsight I should have ordered ample and intermixed but DCO should really have some internal mechanism to mix the same paints on the same machines at least for the same customer to avoid this issue.

I’ve ordered from here so many times and they’ve always been brilliant. The paint has always been great quality and the colour matches are a lot closer than others I’ve tried. The real winner though is their customer service. They’re always so quick to reply and provide advice when needed and the one and only time I’ve had an issue with an order they sorted it out immediately and with no fuss. A very happy customer.

Ordered paint yesterday late morning and it was delivered before 9am this morning! They had exactly what I needed at a competitive price. Great service, would definitely use again next time I have a requirement.

This is one of my favourite companies to deal with as a decorator. The customer service is just first class, they are always on hand to answer any of my questions and offer support in getting the right products. I literally can’t fault them!
