Awful approach to tracking
I've now received the paint I ordered and everything seems OK.
What isn't OK, is the tracking experience. Rather than simply provide a tracking number, they make you install a third party spam app on your phone, which is pretty poor at clearly locating your order, but very good at trying to sell you stuff, both from dco and other retailers. Shameless profiteering at their customer's expense and inconvenience.
Edit; 13/3/26. There was a tracking link in the dispatch email, but the hyperlink was dead, so it went nowhere. Meanwhile, the Shop app continually said "waiting for details", and still does, even though today's email says the parcel has been ready to collect since the 10th.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the tracking experience has been frustrating. Our website is powered by Shopify so does recommend using the Shop app to track and manage orders, you should have also received separate tracking directly from the courier DPD to allow you to track this as well.

Perfect Service and Products
We have had two purchases from this family run business, and we would shop with them 100% again. The paint (Farrow & Ball) was the best price we could find on the market, packaged proactively to prevent any accidents. The paint lid was secured with metal clips, along with cut proof tap and finally secured in a plastic bag, individually boxed with large bubble wrap to limit movement in the box. Excellent delivery times delivered by DPD who looked after our purchases.
Quicker than getting the car out.
Would 100% recommend.

I have already left some reviews of the paint and brushes I had recently ordered, but thought I would write another amazing review as I have used one of the paints today. Wow, how amazing this paint was, not only in colour match but application to. The paint is what I can describe as a thick double cream consistency, I decided to use a paint brush and paint the ceiling, no drips, excellent one coat coverage and only used a quarter of a 2.5l tin. I am so amazed with this paint, not like a lot of other paints that are watery and drip everywhere. I have another two different paints to get stuck into and I am really looking forward to seeing the paint on the walls. Many thanks DCO for a really amazing experience, not only in the super fast delivery and packaging, but for the quality of the paint. If I could leave 50 stars I would.

Couldnt colour match, but alternative offer was just as good if not better!
Always enjoy working with DCO. Fast delivery, great range, sharp prices – but the real standout is their CS.
Human-led responses that aren't pushy, just genuinely helpful. Exactly what you need when colour matters to the wife and they don't stock the exact shade.
They suggested a perfect alternative, turned it around, delivered – and it was up on the wall in 48 hours.

Thanks for taking the time to provide some feedback. We’re really sorry to hear about the delay and understand how frustrating this must have been.
Unfortunately, there was an issue at your local depot. Our team do everything possible to ensure orders are dispatched promptly, but once a parcel leaves our warehouse it is handled by the courier and is outside of our direct control.
While these issues don't happen very often, it's still disappointing to hear they have let us, and you, down on this occasion.
We really appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother experience in the future.
Deliveries are either slow or no-show
Placed 2 orders in the past month and a half. Neither of them turned up. On the recent order I waited 2 weeks for some paint samples after being told to give it a few more days, but still nothing showed up. Was then told they could resend but it would be another week until delivery or I could pay £5.95 and they would send by courier. This has put our renovation plans back significantly and we will not be using this company for our supplies. Poor customer service response

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating delays can be, especially during a renovation. Both of your orders were placed using our sample shipping option, which is an untracked Royal Mail service. This keeps the cost of samples as low as possible; tracked or courier services are available but do cost more.
The delays you experienced are not what we would expect, even allowing for the disruption caused by the Christmas period and Storm Goretti. We have raised this directly with Royal Mail, as this level of delay is unacceptable.
When the issue was identified, we offered to resend the samples via the same service or upgrade to a tracked courier option so you could receive them more quickly. We’re sorry this situation impacted your plans and appreciate you sharing your feedback, which we will continue to pass on to our delivery partners.

Radiator leak meant that cloak room needed to be redecorated. Searched for Laura Ashley colour and came across DCO. First rate service. Great communication and speedy delivery. Paint arrived very well packed and the colour is ‘spot on’. 5*

Never received the goods
We have never received the paint. It was delivered to a business 3 miles away. DPD marked it as delivered to the neighbour. The Decorating Centre, instead of apologising and issuing a refund, said they would investigate and refund if they manage to retrieve the paint from the address. If not, then it is a matter for the police.
I have already created a chargeback but keep in mind, if you do not receive the goods due to their courier delivering to a completely wrong address, you may never see your money.
