Still haven't received my check. I have left several voice messages (as talking to anyone is impossible), have sent several emails and nothing for the last 5 days. I have asked for the check just to be sent via email as my new employer require it be sent electronically.... No response. I felt totally ripped off after having found it a check can be obtained for a fraction of the cost via Mygov website. I am scared I have lost my new job due to the huge delay of receiving this check.

I paid £84 for a 24-hour dbs check last Friday (27th May). Since paying, I have had no communication with this company despite trying multiple times to contact them. The number on their website goes through to a message saying all phone lines are busy, regardless of what time of day you try calling and when you do leave a message they don't respond anyway. I would avoid this company at all costs so you don’t waste your money!!

this is my first review on trust pilot just so that I can make people aware that this is a scam website and all the 5 star reviews are most probably fake. they are just filthy scums preying on innocent people in urgent situations.
I read other reviews and found that we all had the same terrible experience with them.
I required DBS check certificate urgently for employment and found this website on google search. £ 84 for ( +5£ for sms service ) digital certificate within 24 hrs and physical Certificate in 3-5 days.
Filled the form and paid money straight away. After 45 mins received an email saying application is in progress. More than 24 hrs passed and nothing happened. I called them several times frantically but it always went on answering machine. Wrote several emails but received no reply. after almost 2 days i received an email saying i need to upload 2 address proof and lied that they had send an email within 30 mins of application. I had received nothing from them, I had checked all my inbox and spam emails. So I went on trust pilot to check their reviews and found several people who had identical experience with them. but it was too late for me as I had already paid the fees.
So I asked them to return my money. After 5 days I received an email asking for my bank details sort code account number etc for refund minus £30 as their administration charges. for what? they didn't do anything at all? anyways I am not sharing my bank details with these scammers.
I reported this matter to my bank and police and I sincerely they take this site down so that no other innocent person falls prey to these scammers.
I tired gov.uk website and received my digital results within 12 hrs. Cost £18. Use the gov website they are genuine.

After already being scammed by these disgusting people they try to call me on withheld number while there driving in the car to make out applications on there desk ( after already being told it’s in the post accepted and completed )
Shut these dirty scammers down

I applied for a dbs check and received emails saying that my details were correct and everything was satisfactory, they asked for the payment to process the application immediately and receive my certificate in 24 hours. After I made the payment, I haven't heard anything at all. After countless messages and emails, I was told that my application could not be processed due to a problem with my address and when I asked for a refund, they told me that there was a charge of 30 pounds for administration fees, for A JOB THEY DIDN'T!!! Absolutely shameful! They don't provide the services they promise and don't reply to the emails, you have to waste time to send countless emails to receive an answer.
No need to say that I am still waiting to have an answer about my request for a FULL refund because my application has not been processed at all.
Poor service and misleading website.

EDIT: The manager called me and offered me a full refund, which I appreciated. However, I missed an important deadline for a job application because of their mistake and lack of communication so I would not recommend their services.

Good communication when dealing with delays. Still awaiting certificate but this has been made clear by representatives.

This company is a bunch of crooks. I started filling out my details for the check without realising it was an unofficial , then came to the page asking for payment. This is before any documents were uploaded. I then realised that the £84 was over 3 times the cost the government should charge. So I didn't make a payment, didn't accept their terms and conditions and quit the website.

I then got an email demanding the £84 and saying they were processing my DBS check and would send it to me.

I am starting to doubt the integrity of this Company despite the many positive reviews here - which I am wondering if they are fake. I have tried since yesterday to call yourselves more than 2 times and today - more than 3 times and each time it goes into voice mail, I emailed you guys and still haven't received a reply. What does it take to contact someone??? I did a Company search on yourselves and discovered you guys are the same Company as Clearchecks. If you see the reviews of Clearchecks on Trustpilot, they have been rated horribly by customers who say Clearchecks are SCAMS!!!

WARNING - THIS SITE IS A SCAM!

I fell for clicking on their link at the top of the google search page. I foolishly entered my details, paid £84 and have since heard nothing - no email, no post - it's now over a week later.
They haven't responded to my query or my complaint.

The company has been very smooth to deal with so far. I've had some communication issues with some other companies in the past regarding getting my DBS checks sorted but these guys responded very quickly via email!

Yup so finally after 2 weeks of waiting patiently a representative from the organisation gave me a call directly, and have assured me that they will resolve my query of processing my DBS application.

I'm happy that the organisation have apologised and owned for the error which has led me to think that their work ethics and culture seems to be on the positive side of things. I have edited this review three times and have acknowledged them for sorting out my issue. That being said I hope to get my application processed as quickly as possible as I lost two weeks worth of lead time.

But I now believe everything should be sorted. Hence the 5 stars.

Edit: I have finally checked out my application online and it has finally been processed and completed. Also, I have gotten a confirmation email from the organisation that my certificate will arrive at my address shortly.

Without a doubt, I can say they have responded and solved my query within six hours time as promised.

So if anyone has any problems or whatsoever, then do let them know directly via their mentioned email or just post your review here just so you can be noticed by them quickly. But yes they are very much committed to solving your queries as I can see mine resolved within six hours since the time they've taken action.

But still the cert is left to arrive at my address.

Conclusion: You can trust these guys as they take your reviews seriously and their commited to help you. The person who helped me was very kind and I do know his name but because of GDPR reasons won't mention it here unless their alright with it.

I have now upped this review to 3 stars as I have been contacted by DBS Checks, I do appreciate their response and have now got a refund but only after I had missed my deadline due to not having the check done as requested

Dont use this clown company for any checks you require FAST! Took me 20 days! Yes 20 days to get my certificate drop through my letterbox.£84 for a so called fast track service.Only thing fast track i make out is this companies bank account.Countless e-mails,they had all the info they needed but make any excuse to prolong the wait.Utter diabolical outfit "DBS" yes Diabolical Bad Service!

Terrible experience. Paid for express service 7 days later no communication and no one answers the phone. I sent an in-depth email of queries - the reply was ‘replied 29th’ by some guy called Tom. What does that even mean or achieve?

I have handed over payment, passport info, driving license, visa statement with address, utility bill with address after 2 separate requests for ID. The first ID application apparently didn’t meet criteria. BTW it did. I am now worried they have so much information and still nothing and have asked for more details!! I am not sending more, I have informed my bank as I am worried I am going to be the victim of fraud. I have cancelled my credit card. After 15 days my bank will start the process of getting me a refund as they haven’t provided the service I paid for. I have provided everything. They have done nothing but take personal data.

Poor customer service. Emails are not sent within 6 hours but at 4am when everyone is sleeping so cannot reply. The phone line is a joke and you can never get hold of anyone. DBS has taken 2 weeks with no communication from them.

Good customer service. I have filled the wrong email address and they helped me to solve the problem.

This company might be very good if you need your DBS checks NOW and can't wait for the time that gov.uk take. You will be paying a premium for there service. We were not happy when we realised the price difference, so we asked for a refund which only took a few days to come through.

The whole process from putting in my file and data took 10 minutes end-to-end, and I was able to get my results within the 24 hours too. Thank you!
