Booked through Trip.com and paid upfront. Big mistake! CRC did not have my car and tried to rent me an "upgrade" for nearly 5 times the price of my original contract. I had to walk away and rent from a reputable company. I lost the entire cost of the booking. Both CRC and Trip.com said that was the cancellation fee. I did not cancel and tried to argue their bad business practices but they would not do anything. Lesson learned. Never pay upfront for a rental car and never use CRC!!

Excellent service. In and out in 15 minutes. Thorough calm return process. The actual pickup from a different service person felt efficient but impersonal. I would use CRC again

Reserved through Wheego. CRC Lisbon from reservation, pickup (airport meet on schedule) and drop off staff were professional, friendly and efficient. The car was clean and ran perfectly. I would use this car rental serice again.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. After more than 3 years as a customer and over 20 rentals, this is how I get treated.

I was charged €400 for a “damage” underneath the car, something that is practically impossible to see during pickup unless you get on the ground and inspect the vehicle in detail. Even worse, they provided no clear evidence that this damage wasn’t already there before my rental. Staff is paid on commission to make clients get their overpriced insurance and commission when finding damages when there is no insurance.

they do whatever they can to get that commission and will find damage that is not even real or was already there.

What shocked me the most was the attitude of the staff. The person handling my case was aggressive, unprofessional, and even mocking at times. Instead of helping or explaining the situation, they made me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Completely disrespectful.

I’ve rented with many companies, and CRC is by far the worst in terms of transparency, customer care, and professionalism. Being treated like this after years of loyalty is honestly shocking.

I couldn’t find any direct contact for a manager, to raise this complain with their staff.

Dont rent here.
Check every inch of the vehicle (including underneath), take videos, and don’t expect fair treatment if something goes wrong.

I would strongly advise avoiding CRC Lisbon.
