Co-ParentMatch is a UK-based website and our PayPal payment system processes the membership price in GBP (sterling). We do, however, display prices in a number of currencies to make it easier for members around the world to understand the approximate cost in their own currency.
The important point is that you do not need to be based in the UK to make a payment. PayPal supports international payments and currency conversion, so if you are paying from another country, PayPal will handle any necessary currency conversion depending on your PayPal account, card and payment settings. PayPal explains that it supports payments in multiple currencies and that its applicable exchange rate is calculated when a currency conversion is made.
We accept payments through PayPal, rather than processing customers’ card payments directly ourselves. Therefore, the currency conversion and exchange rate are ultimately determined by PayPal and/or the customer's card provider, depending on the payment method selected.
We certainly did not intend to suggest that customers could select any of the displayed currencies directly at our checkout. We appreciate that the wording could have been clearer and will review this to make sure there is no confusion.
Regarding the comment about a lack of response, we are sorry if you experienced difficulty contacting us. We do respond to customer enquiries and would be happy to look into your particular experience if you contact us directly with the details.

I find this website completely impossible to use. There is no way to communicate with the company to ask for advice and communication with other members seems impossible too.

We'd like to clarify a couple of points. Firstly, you mentioned that "there is no way to communicate." Our support team can be contacted by email 24/7, and we're always happy to help with any questions or issues.
Secondly, you stated that "communication with the other members seems impossible." As explained on our website, messaging between members is a Premium Membership feature. Once subscribed, members can send and receive unlimited messages with other users.
You also described the website as "a complete waste of time." We have been unable to locate a membership account or any previous correspondence from you, so we haven't had the opportunity to investigate or assist with any problems you may have experienced.
If you have used the site under a different name or email address, please get in touch with us directly. We'd be happy to look into your concerns and help resolve any genuine issues.

After talking to someone for a few months and he pointed out it might not work first time. Made many comments about our future child. We have sex and he get up tells me I'm to far from him to have a child with. Yet he know what area I lived in. Only a hours drive which isn't far in London. So he basically came to have sex with me and ghost me off after he knew I wasn't pregnant. Considering what this website is that's rape as far as I'm concerned. I agreed to have sex with him and make a baby long term. Not have someone have sex with me then tell me it was his mistake for coming. That's the kinda behavior I expect from dating sites. I'm getting men send me top less photos like its a dating site not a co parenting site. You have him a main person on your page

We always recommend you take the route of artificial insemination at a registered clinic to ensure both parties safety. If you choose to have sex, as two consenting adults, there is very little you can do. However if you did not consent we highly recommend you contact the police and report this incident.

I'd agree with the scam status
I'd agree with the scam status. Doesn't matter how long they've been around. Read all the positive reviews - they sound like they've been written by the same person who jumbles up a few words every once in a while, like a high schooler attempting to fool Teacher that they didn't plagiarize.
In several months I was on the platform, the only two users who reached out both disappeared after only a week or two. One email was sent before I became a member - then I realised I had to pay to read it - then the user magically disappeared shortly after. I mean, it's almost like someone was magically drawing me into a subscription.
After that, I received another series of emails from a person far away. Both of these profiles had no pictures. That person also disappeared, right after the conversation had started going.
Finally, when I said I wanted to cancel my annual subscription, they offered a LIFE-time subscription for half the price I had and would be paying for continued annual subscription. So, you mean, if I just threaten to leave, I get the next several decades for less than 1% what you would have charged me otherwise?
Interesting business model, if you want to call it that! But just cancel your membership if you'd like the option of essentially free life time membership.

Hi Franc, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Obviously, this is concerning to read such a negative review. Let me try to address some of your points. I am not able to look at your personal profile as you have not contacted us in person so I can try to answer in general terms:
1) We are not a scam website. The reviews and feedback are genuine. If we were to write fake reviews there would be tens of thousands and I would presume a robot generating reviews would be word perfect. We cannot control what members write in their feedback on Trustpilot. I cannot explain why their English is not perfect however it may be that our members are from all over the world and their first language is not English.
2) You received 2 messages in 2 months. We cannot see your profile so am unable to give you personal feedback however ultimately only two people felt connected with you. If those two people 'disappeared' it will have been because they blocked you after they read your received message. It is not in our intertest to have members 'disappear'.
3) You had a series of messages from someone far away. Yes there are members from all over the world. Yes, there are some members who do not want to add a profile picture. You can choose to reply or ignore or block. You chose to reply.
4) Depending on your package, as a donor, you may be offered lifetime membership. This is because we want you to stay. There are lots of women who are desperate for a sperm donor.
Thank you for choosing to be a donor with us. We are sorry your experience has been negative.
A Good Site for Co-parenting or Sperm Donation
I have met some genuine people on this site. Most seem earnest and normal. As with any matching service, roughly 80 percent of the women will select 20 percent of the men. I recommend this site for donors and recipients, but they must approach the site with the appropriate and realistic expectations.

Not bad so far. Been considering being a donor or a coparent for a while. The dating scene is a mess. It;s getting harder to meet a match ready to have children.If having a child is your goal this is a great option I think. Happy to help someone concieve. I haven't met anyone yet, but looking forward to it.

I enjoy the wide range of persons to connect with. Liked the filter system to help fine point exactly what your looking for. Did not like all the ads that kept interrupting me. Even when I payed for subscription. Did not like the overcharging that occurred on my account. Did meet people that connected with me through this site.
Didn't like my distance in my search Did not give me proper results. Always gave me people in the UK, even when I put a 50 mile radius filter

Members can cancel their subscription any time e.g. if you opt for a weekly subscription you will charged each week on a subscription basis until you cancel. We can also cancel for you if you email us. Mile radius search should present option within that specified distance unless a member has not correctly entered their address - this is when an anomaly may appear. If you report that member we can amend that issue.
Great + Easy site to meet sperm donors
Great and easy site to meet likeminded people and to find/become a sperm donor.
It is convenient, easy to use and the pricing is transparent (and in my opinion fair). If you are considering a private sperm donation, you should definitely try this platform!

This is not a scam platform. We have been operating since 2007. It is free to search for a match on Co-parentmatch.com. When you find a potential match that you want to correspond with you can choose to upgrade to premium membership. That membership enables you to read received messages and send messages. The only reason a member needs to pay any money is to use that messaging service. If you upgrade and choose not to reply to any received messages that is to your discretion but you will not be able to receive a refund at that point. We are sorry that you are unhappy with this policy but that is the way we have operated since 2007. We really hope you find success in your journey in the future.
