I have had this happen more than once they close early and make up a story about the system being down like my time and effort to get here does not matter. Considering I buy over 100 in products each visit I expect better. Plus I have cash no need for systems because I can see you cashing out

Got the 2nd worst haircut of my life (day before my 52 second birthday, I grew up in the 80's with perms, I've had some BAD styles!).

I went in with long hair (mid back) all one length with the exception of a long layer that was about 3" shorter but was well blended. I asked for some long layers for movement. What I got was what I can only describe as a "bowl cut" on top of a now, past shoulder length bottom layer. My "top long layer" was about 5-6" in some spots and not a light layer, this is a lot of hair that looks TERRIBLE.

The stylist that I booked with was a Master stylist - Andy, who told me he had 19 years of hair cutting experience and that he would take about 3" off all around. This bowl cut was not blended and looked so ridiculous that when I turned around at the front counter, in tears, the woman gasped and did not charge me for my cut. I have friends who know the owner of this salon who assured me I would hear back from someone. NOPE. That was March 22/26.

I would give the receptionist a 5 Star rating because she was so lovely and understanding.

**The next day I went to another salon where the owner did the best she could to blend my bowl cut and told me it would take 3-4 month of monthly appointments to blend it completely with the rest of my hair.

Tillicum store. Absolutely LOVE the new stylist, Tenzen after looking for one for almost a year. She listened, she gave her professional opinion and I got a fabulous haircut! However, I was not told if the involuntary $3 charge plus tax for THEIR recycling fee of my hair to give to a company that makes wigs. Fair, however it would be nice if they said this at the till and not hide behide "well it is posted at the salon". When asked if I had a choice, she said "well you a have choice to get your hair cut here"! Interesting. For one I have never experienced this is all my years of going to salons, but to not have such a callous attitude at the reception makes me wonder if I should keep looking. Tenzen you are a Rockstar, too bad about the customer service and corporate policy.

Wasn’t sat down until 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time because they were slammed with back-to-school haircuts. Was worth the wait though. My stylist gave me exactly the haircut I asked for, with the speed and accuracy of someone who knows exactly what they’re doing.

Absolutely LOVE Kent at this location. A loyal customer here which I’ve never been before.

This was my first time meeting with a hair stylist as I typically went to a barber. In my consultation with Erik, I learned a lot of incredibly helpful information about my hair type, hair care, and hair maintenance. I felt cared for and understood his thought process when I came to deciding what was best hair for my hair type. I would recommend anyone who wants to have an expert in their craft to book a consultation with Erik. He takes time making sure you feel confident and content with what you will get at the end.

Choe did an amazing job with my hair color, I'm obsessed with it, she is a hair genius. Well worth the money, overall great experience and I will be back.

The staff were so professional from the moment I checked in to after my appointment. I really appreciate my hair stylist, Antonella! She listened to exactly what I wanted and worked with that style. I’m so happy with the haircut.

The girl that did my pedicure was very nice and I felt like she did a decent job. However, a few days later while on vacation, three of my toenails had the shellac fall off. I called when I returned from vacation but was told they would not reapply since it was after 7 days. I feel like shellac should certainly last more than 7 days. I have never had it fall off before and it usually lasts months on my toenails. I was away and unable to call before 7 days. I was very disappointed in their customer service and how unapologetic the lady was on the phone. I will not be returning to this location in the future.

Carl is an absolute asset. His talents are beyond measure, across the board. Personally I was made to feel welcome and cared for. Professionally, the results are worthy of tears of joy. 🥰

The first time I walked in as my feminine, I was treated like a queen. I walked out with curls that stopped traffic. The cut was uniquily tailored to me, even surprised me.

The most recent time, well, Carl blew me away. I had a big ask; a color job to match my flamingo. (Long story) He absolutely nailed it. Even booked me a follow-up for tweaking, as the pics I shared weren't "up to his standard", the perfectionist. Lol.
I've never felt so beautiful.

Dee was my hairdresser - I just came in for a wash and blow dry. The massage she provided was out of this world. It was extremely relaxing, excellent service. I told her to do whatever she wanted after the blow-dry and she did an excellent job with just a bit of a flat iron curl. Lasted for days, very happy with her work.

Very disappointing and confusing experience.

I booked a simple trim for my 13-year-old daughter with a stylist (Angelito) listed on the website. There is no clear age restriction, and kids are defined as 0–12, so 13 should not fall under that.

However, I was told the stylist does not take younger clients, and then quoted $80–$90 for a simple trim. This does not match the website at all, where trims are listed at $10–$15 and even full haircuts around $63.

Pricing felt unfair and misleading.

I went to Chatter Hair Salon today and the hairdresser, Megan, asked what I wanted to do with my hair. I told her I wanted a long layered cut and even showed her a picture. After she finished, I asked if it was layered because it honestly just looked like a straight cut to me. She said it was, but that it only looked different because my hair is longer than the one in the picture.
I’m not totally happy with it since it doesn’t really look layered like I wanted.

Jennifer is MY stylist and she is so helpful and talented. She always checks on how I’m doing in the chair. I have long silver hair and she makes me feel like I’ve done a makeover. I saw her yesterday and my hair looks today looks like I stepped out of the salon.

Went to Chatters South Common in Edmonton April 2 and Katherine G was my stylist. 5 out of 5! She knew exactly what to do with my curly hair and was so lovely and personable. Had a great experience and left with a great haircut.

I took my three year old son who has never had his haircut in a salon setting. He was so excited and jumping and running around and I was nervous he wouldn't sit still. His stylist Karan was so patient and kind with him. He explained what he was doing and would stop to brush him off any time my son said he was itchy from the hair, to help him feel comfortable. He did a fantastic job!! I wasn't sure how short to go and asked what Karan thought would look best and it turned out perfectly!!

$70 for a man’s simple haircut. Ouch- just got ripped off.
