From being able to make an online appointment on their easy to use website to the friendly personnel to the awseme care I got from Franc I highly recommend Chatters in Conestoga Mall.
Franc is professional and knew exactly what issues I had with my short hair and he explained what would he would do to fix them. . He did consult me to ensure that I agreed. I really appreciated that he knew what to do instead of me trying to explain it to him. Franc explained that he has been working for years and has recently returned to this area.Thanks again!

Moe was so friendly the entire time. He had me indulged in engaging conversations the entire time. I was more than happy about my results. He did so well! I’m genuinely in love with my hair. Thank you so much Moe!

If I could give negative stars I would. The hairdresser completely ruined my hairstyle. I asked for a trim for my armpit length hair and left with hair above my collarbones. It is choppy and missing random chunks, with my hair framing pieces being uneven and unsymmetrical. I requested that the hair stylist maintain the v shaped haircut I had with the same ratio. My hair was 3 inches longer on the longest piece than the middle lengths, and shorter framing pieces than the middle lengths. Instead she cut all of my hair off and choppily made a tiny v shape that just reads as a home job. It took 5 business days to get my refund, with them ignoring all of my communications until I posted this bad review. They are poorly equipped to handle a simple trim and are highly unprofessional in dealing with the aftermath. No one I know will ever go to this salon.

I’m very disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, my hair was not done well at all and the final result was far from what I expected. On top of that, Sally was about 15 minutes late, which caused me to be late for work.Being on time is very important to me, especially when I have scheduled appointments around my job. Overall, this experience was stressful and disappointing, and I don’t feel I received the level of service I was expecting.

Linh is a very friendly and professional hair stylist.

For years, I have cut and maintained my own hair and experiences like the one I had at Chatters is exactly why. I am extremely unhappy with my hair. I showed an exact picture of what I wanted, explained that my hair bounces up and lifts when short and that I DO NOT LIKE when it is straightened, or blown-dry straight. I scrunch mousse into my hair and air dry to avoid frizz, or sometimes diffuse mostly (but not fully) dry. I maintain my naturally thick waves, and do not like the wave pattern being disturbed as it takes weeks, if not months, to return to their natural shape if they are disturbed. Christy (the stylist) insisted that it be blown-dry straight, and did so against my wishes, even after stating several times that I prefer my natural waves and do not like when it is straightened in any way. I began experiencing a very itchy, burning scalp shortly after leaving and now believe it's an allergic reaction to the products. I hoped after returning home and washing my hair that my natural waves would return, and I would like my hair more. My hair (as I expected) lifted, and looks way shorter, and is now a poofy mess. It looks nothing like the picture I showed her, and will likely take weeks to recover from the damage and disruption. I am extremely unhappy with the service, and will not return to this salon. Likely will go back to trimming/cutting my own hair, so that my wishes for my hair is actually respected.

Stay away

My daughter went there wanting very light layers and 1 inch cut off. She came out with face framing that she hates because now she can’t put her hair back or even tuck it behind her ears and extremely heavy layering which she specifically did not want. Not only that but she got about three inches cut off and when we got home she started crying because of how bad it was. I do not recommend going here because this is not the first time this has happened to my family and they over all just do not listen and do what they want…

Best Haircut I’ve had in as long as I can remember. I walked in and saw Kiran whose attention to detail was amazing. Not a single hair is out of place. I typically just throw my hat back on after a cut but this one I couldn’t, it was just too perfect.

It’s tough to find a stylist who can take the vision in my mind and execute it flawlessly but Cathy has done it time and time again :)

Normally just get the usual but decided to change it up and was thoroughly surprised to see I could rock it. At first 'a little ambitious' as my hairdresser put it. But after I feel like great for taking the leap. Service was nice and not too pricey.

I went in for just a colour the stylist talked me into a hair trim. The stylist cut all my hair off. I know its damaged but she said only a trim.She ended up chopping my hair off and she layered it . I walked out with a Bob cut 😞 I did not want it this way. Im so pissed my hair is gross and short. Took me 3 years to grow it. I hate my hair.....

I went in right before my birthday to get red over my purple hair, I loved how it turned out. She was very gentle and kind with my hair. Its clear she cares a lot about her clients and their well being!

Olivia is the only person that I’ve ever had who can cut my curly hair perfectly. She is amazing at what she does and I would follow her anywhere.

Booked with Richelle! She is amazing! She listened to what I wanted and asked lots of questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted before starting. Had an absolutely amazing experience with her and I love the way my hair came out in the end.
