Dreadful smart TV

Dreadful smart TV, don't buy. We have to keep turning and off at the wall to restart as the processor keeps freezing. This sometimes happens seconds into turning back on. Avoid.

32 inch TV 2019 Sheep in Wolf's Clothes

I bought their 32 inch TV in 2019 at a very fair price.
I'm still watching it and works really quite good with a decent picture.
For the money I paid I feel it's well worth it and see pictures with less life like colours for more money.
It's a standard TV with no smart facilities so nothing to mention there
However it's let down is the sound quality, not just awful, it's annoying, the tone is so plasticy and tinny and with very little frequency range. But using the headphone socket to power a decent mini speaker, or home amplifier it sounds great. But really should we have to do that in the age we live, after all a 1950s Bush TV sounded better !
On the bright side it's still doing well after over 3 years use.
Before I end, another fault is the recording schedule. It records onto a USB stick ok via a timer schedule you can set up. But it randomly looses the programmes, why why why !!
It also crashes when changing the TV source such as from USB back to DTV.
Once you get acquainted to this TV, you begin to realise why it's cheap. Like a British Leyland car painted in nice bright colours... Made in Britain

I bought a Cello traveller tv

I bought a Cello traveller tv. Don't make the same mistake as me, spend your money on another brand. The sound is terrible and the remote control is a hit or miss experience. All in all it's a pile of rubbish.

I have had a Cello 32" TV for over a…

I have had a Cello 32" TV for over a year. Can't recall the make and model. It's a solid tv, Google TV has improved since last year. I previously had a 50 inch lg TV and downsized as I don't want a TV dominating my lounge.

Solid TV, adequate sound, picture good enough. If you want 8k and Dolby Atmos go elsewhere. But it's a solid TV for the price.

Cello ZG0223 TV

After buying a cello TV I find I'm no lover of Android TV's as there's far too many recommendations and self advertised apps to join - if you pay.

The USB won't recognise a plug in hard drive rendering the recording of Freeplay useless. I've got more settings on my iron than on this TV. Google play is one big advert! I was surprised to see that the memory is only 2K I've got a Chinese box with far more memory and far less price.

But the company itself is very good with excellent, quick customer support, a pity they don't update thier firmware to allow buyers better choices.

So Very Please with my 14" rechargeable TV

I have had a small Sony 7" TV next to my bedside for years . We have a 42" TV in the bedroom but it tends to disturb my husbands sleep and I do not sleep easily. I looked on the internet for a rechargeable small TV as my Sony is now not working properly and we do tend to get power cuts quite regularly at night so rechargeable fits the bill. All I could find were TVs made in China with names I had never heard of THEN I found The Ferguson Cello site. I ordered the 14" TV on the 5th Oct 22 and it arrived the next day, wow!! I unboxed it and tuned it in and I have to say I am so far really impressed. Great sound, great picture and a real sized remote, not like the tiny remote on my Sony (I am in my 60s). Their website didn't make it obvious that it had a remote so I emailed them to double check and within 12 hours I received a response from Sue in customer service to confirm it did. Old fashion service that is hard to find these days. I am 100% happy, a British company with old fashion service, well done and thank you.

Worst tv we have ever had

Worst tv we have ever had, works when it feels like it! Bought if for breakfast room but think would be better in the bin! Waste of money!

Never buy their "smart" TV !!

Never buy their "smart" TV !!! Nothing but issues with the processor not working or apps loading up or TV failing to start! DHS refused a refund said TV was as ordered and cello ignored my emails! Over a year and lucky if I can get it started first time round without it freezing or telling me there is an issue and needs completely reset and WiFi reconnected!! AVOID THIS BRAND!!!!

Superb customer service and repair…

Superb customer service and repair turnaround.
Television needed repair - picked up, repaired, & returned in just over a week.
Customer service kept me informed in a friendly and prompt manner. Always responding to my queries.
Highly recommend.

What a load of rubbish

What a load of rubbish. As a dongle to fit in usb slot.most of the time won't process what u want it to do. Changed my dongle cause wouldn't work. New dongle faulty to. Slow dated.just rubbish. Don't waste your money

Excellent after sales service!

I ordered a 16" TV which arrived very quickly. unfortunately, it did not suit owing to poor quality of sound. However, the after sales service was second to none. Free pick up from door, no hassle and a prompt refund. Thank you!

my tv decided to stop working and i had a two year warranty. with just a quick simple email and photo of the tv it was collected by them 3 days later fixed and returned with in a week !!jayne from customer service was amazing !!

Awful sound and picture.

We purchased a Cello 20 inch 240 volt/12 volt TV for our motorhome. The sound was terrible and the tv had to be viewed from almost straight on. Move either slightly up or down left or right and the picture became virtually unwatchable because of its minimal critical viewing angle. Could not recommend to anybody.

Awfull cheap nasty british tv, don't waste your time!!

Purchased a 12v cello traveller tv/dvd combo for my little girls room back in march 2020 from amazon, it was originally purchased to use in her room and switch it into our camper when travelling, due to the recent pandemic we were only able to go on 2 short trips with the new cello tv.

Since then it has been used a handfull of times in her room for the odd movie over the many many months, switch it on today it was on around an hour in then screen went black.

I went in to check on it, no power to tv, no light, dead as a dodo.

Probs got a good few months total use out of it, Cheap for a reason, absolute garbage.

Phone tec support they say you might of knocked the rocker switch underneath and turned it of lmao.

Told her ive only used it for a few months at best and now its broke she said it doesn't matter its still 2 years old, must of been watching itself at night 🤣

Then goes on to say it will most probably be the board which are only around £40, like she knew the fault was a common thing, im not gunna waste my time getting tecs to come round and mess with a cheapo tv, its going straight to the tip.

Avoid.

Sorry to hear that you are having a issue with your TV, Unfortunately our Cello TVs are sold with a 1 year warranty included you could of however purchase our extended warranty when you purchased the tv. As you have had the TV for 2 years we can not offer a exchange or a repair, our customer service team did try and offer advice with regards to the rocker switch or if this was not the issue then a more inexpensive solution to purchase a mainboard other than disposing of the tv.
I do understand this is frustrating for you , we do have to adhere to our terms and conditions of the warranty in place.

Bought a 55" from.fair for you. Was very expensive for a crap TV. On buying the remote didn't work so they send me their upgraded 1. Well try to manoeuvre it when you are i bed from ANY angle!!! The worst tv and customer service ever!!! Do not buy

Poor customer service

Bought 12v Ferguson/ cello TV for a boat found upon trying to get it installed it was not suitable due to voltage supply. Eventually found an email address they responded to ( advertised email address not looked at according to customer services). Failed to understand problem and as past 14 day period refused return even though still unused in packaging.
Computer says no ethos. Buy with caution knowing they don't care about their reputation.

Hi Richard, you purchased your TV in November 2021. The TV is still fit for purpose and exactly as described on our website.
I understand your frustration that it may not do exactly what you wanted but we have not misled you in anyway, had you tried it in November and found it was no use to you, we would have accepted it straight away.

They went out of their way to help me

They went out of their way to help me, as my TV mother board broke so bought another but the remote didn't work so I bought a new one that was for the none smart TV, so I got Inn touch and they sent me the right one for no cost, can't get better than that. Thank you Cello customer service

Not fit for purpose, poor customer support, poor warranty

I bought the 22” Ferguson ‘Traveller’ HD tv F2220FS direct from Cello for use in our Motorhome, where it was attached by a secure wall mount to the inside of the van. We used it on a number of trips and it was adequate for our use.
Having turned it on after an 11 week break there was an immediate fault apparent with the screen, which had a crazed spider web effect, but no marks whatsoever on the screen itself.
I contacted customer ‘support’ by email and despite reassurances from me they insisted that this was caused by “an extreme pressure or impact” being applied to the screen, which they say is not covered by the warranty. Clearly if that had happened we’d have been aware, but we stopped watching it on 31st October and turned it on again on 18th January with no incident whatsoever. Their email responses were unhelpful, bordering on rude and they remain adamant this had been caused by impact to the screen.
Whilst I can’t explain how it happened, it wasn’t subject to any impact from the day it was turned off to the day it was turned back on.

If that’s what’s likely to happen whilst ‘travelling’ then these tvs are are not fit for purpose.

UPDATE…
As you will see below the company is sticking to the extreme impact story.

When I spoke to the customer support manager I asked whether it was possible that very cold weather could have caused the damage.
The response was that they didn’t know…. but if that was the case then it was my responsibility to take better care of the tv by not leaving it in the van! Again as a ‘traveler’ tv it hardly meets any robustness test and perhaps needs to be wrapped in cotton wool or other insulating material?

I have looked into your case and the images that you sent us of your TV. We see images of TVs everyday and the images you sent do look to us as though they show damage to the screen caused by impact. If your TV had been delivered to you like that we would have swapped your TV with no issues however this is not the case as you have had your TV for some time.
