After reviewing several options online, we called ahead to the Salisbury branch and arranged for a couple of camera and lens combinations to be held in store for us to have a look at.
Everyone was very helpful, but in particular Matt spent over an hour with us talking through the options and letting us try different options and we never felt rushed.
A few additional items were placed on back order and timely emails made sure we always had the information we needed about the delivery.
Very happy indeed with the service.

I've visited their shop in Salisbury and also placed an online order. Lovely people, very helpful and informative in the shop. Originally bought a new body and lens, plus one used lens (they gave me a very reasonable price for that). New stuff was the same price as Amazon/other retailers and eligible for Sony cashback (Amazon isn't).

Later ordered an extra lens online. It was very nicely packed, dispatched quickly and came with some sweets (that was a nice surprise).

Don't normally bother writing reviews for shops but I'm so glad stores like this still exist and have staff that actually know about the stuff they sell. Keep it up!

Just purchased two lenses, fantastic service.

Having been let down with delivery by the biggest online store in the world, I was looking for a specific lens in a hurry and only Castle Cameras showed it as in stock. I phoned them and talked to a super helpful member of staff who pulled out the box, verified that it was there and had it with the courier within the hour. I received it at lunchtime the next day, ready to shoot the sports match for which I needed it. Excellent price, excellent stock and excellent service. Obviously, I will be back, but I would also recommend them unreservedly.

In these difficult times they answered the phone immediately, were very helpful, and exceeded my expectations with delivery times - my lens was delivered very well packaged the next day!!

A great experience with Castle, phoned for advice (stupidly after placing my order, instead of before) and then decided to upgrade my intended purchase. Additional amount paid and goods dispatched promptly via DPD with full tracking details. Arrived on time, well packaged, and quality was definitely as good as expected following my chat with them. Very pleased and will definitely use them again.

I bought a 49mm Hoya UV filter. It was a better price than amazon and delivery was within 2 working days.

Today I went to ask for advise about my camera as I had focus issue with it. The person who approached me tried too help me, but then the owner appeared and asked me to leave if I'm not planing to purchase anything from their store. This is very rude way to approach the customer. I will definitely won't buy anything from Catle Cameras in Winton. Not with this attitude.

I have just purchased a used Nikon R1C1 flash kit from Castle Cameras. It was described as mint, it actually looks new, the price was excellent and delivery was less than 24 hours. It was packaged in a way I do not think a tank could of damaged it. I really am pleased with the service and especially what I purchased. Excellent service, cannot be happier.

Ordered some Zeiss binoculars. Came the next day. There's a cashback offer and they reminded me to make sure I applied.

So, good service, good price and bizzarely, a little packet of Haribos in the box. Shame I'm on a keto diet!

Ordered a camera on sale from this company , they took my money and then told me they would not sell me this camera because they decided to price it higher , after trying to reason with them they have left me no choice to take them to court after TRYING to speak with Racheal she will not even respond anymore and just ignores any communication I AM DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY AND THERE COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR THERE CUSTOMERS , report to trading standard as this company should be closed AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Once again Castle cameras staff have been exceptional in the service they have provided. I would single out Racheal and Luke who went out of their way to give me extra special service. Forget Amazon these guys and girls are the business.
As far as their products go these too are excellent brand new and uk stock !

Phoned to ask about the availability of a Samyang lens on the Monday. The gent I spoke to said, " we have one left, it's on the shelf next to me, I'll put it on the dispatches shelf" I immediately ordered online and the lens was delivered on the Wednesday. Plus I got a free set of filters, can't get better service than that. Cheers.
