Although Castle Cameras are local to me I have always dealt with Wex or MPB for cameras and lenses. Following Castle Cameras excellent Spring Shoot event I thought I would give them a try for a second hand Canon Camera. The price was keen and free delivery was very prompt. The item was well packed and just as described - service every bit as good as the big nationals at their best. Nice one Castle Cameras

The camera turned out to be faulty so I took it back to Castle Cameras and they dealt with my return quickly and I left the shop £200 poorer but with a new camera of the same model - good result all round.

l purchased my new Nikon 180-600mm lens from these guys on Thursday 09/01/25, the lens was delivered today 11 /01/25 by DPD, it came well packed up with loads of packaging to protect it in transit, lens was in perfect condition, really happy with it, l would strongly recommend Castle Cameras to anyone Brilliant throughout, full communication very friendly service 😊

I used to use Castle Cameras 40 years ago plus when I was at Bournemouth School. Having rediscovered my love of photography after too long a gap, I was pleased to see they were still going and now offering online sales. I ordered a couple of items just be 3pm on a Friday afternoon and they arrived in South Wales by 11 the following morning. Excellent service, very fair price - delighted customer!

Purchased a Celestron Telescope online from Castle Cameras at a discounted price, but sadly it arrived in a bit of sorry state.
Quick email to Castle and they called me back within an hour. Before I had chance to email them again with photos of the damage, they’d arranged a replacement scope!
Less than 24 hours after contacting Castle about the issue, I had a pristine replacement.
They even arranged to have the damaged scope collected.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

I required a replacement Canon eyecap and found Castle Camera as the only one in stock. It was received within 48 hours and was all correct. Good service.

These are the people was advertise and sell cameras that they don't have? To be fair I was issued a full refund but I will not be dealing with Castle Cameras again.

Friendly, efficient and always deliver on their promises. I bought my first ever camera from them in 1980 and have carried on buying from them over the years. The personnel may have changed (although many have been there for years) but the ethos remains the same which means that I will keep going back.

3rd or 4th time buying from Castle Cameras without any issues. This time round I had an issue with the packing not being adequate. Spoke to them and they went above and beyond and sorted me out with a replacement, so I’m very pleased with their customer service and swift response and action to deal with this human error. I would highly recommend them

Castle Cameras were so helpful with a recent order of binoculars as a first time customer. I have been trying to use smaller local (or localish in this case) shops rather than the big online giants and not only were they a very similar price to the big shops, the excellent service I received made it even more worthwhile. Celestron binoculars are very good too! Will definitely use Castle Cameras again.
