While the Car and Classic process was great, the vehicle I bought wasn’t good enough. I arrived to be told that a car with a clean MOT only passed emissions once it was hot (helped by knowing the tester), and having been parked at home for a couple of days it’s leaking a lot of coolant. While I appreciate the onus is on the buyer to do their checks, there should also be total transparency from the selling parties. I don’t believe that was the case here whatsoever. If you know a car has had the cat removed, it must be mentioned! I won’t buy a car listed on C&C’s auction platform in future.

Have used carandclassic multiple times, whittling down the collection year by year. Kate is usually my point of contact and she's a real asset to the company, but have been in contact with many others, each a pleasure to deal with. Have also spent many enjoyable hours searching for projects I shouldn't be buying(!) They run a tight ship, if you want efficient service and access to a global market, here's your place.

Noticed on selling some of my cars that a customers enquiry doesn’t reach me.

There was not a lot of interest in the car , however what there was has been genuine , the third enq secured the sale and is due to be collected on the twelve of August .

The advert was simple to set up with the ability to save and return to it.
Photos loaded really well and the whole process was straightforward

I have sold my classic car privately through the web site. It is easy to use and create a great advert and what's more it's free. You can track the interest the ad receives and the auction team are on hand to offer advice, pricing and of course their auction service.
Would thoroughly recommend this site.
