I parked on 17th March 2023, have provided proof of payment on my bank statement but apparently there is no record of my registration being paid. This must have been entered incorrectly. My son-in-law paid for his car at the same time and this has been provided so the registration either just before or after his will be mine so this will match my payment. Despite providing evidence of a payment, nearly 2 years later, in the last couple of days I am being asked for £170 or go to court. This was clearly a genuine registration entry error.

Paid for 5pm - 2am parking via the "Your Parking Space" app. Parked from 5:35pm - 11pm. Received a fine for "overstaying". Absolute scam, avoid at all costs.

EDIT - emailed my proof of purchase to info at brewerygateltd.co.uk and received confirmation that a refunded was granted. To be fair to Brewery Gate they were very fast and blamed the issue on Your Parking Space not updating the system. Not my fault however and I will be avoiding this carpark going forward as it was a massive inconvenience.

Just money grabbing thieves praying on innocent people. I parked here paid and have proof of payment. I got fined £60 so I appealed and it got denied with no reason. Then I got a new letter sent with a fine of £160 and threatened to be taken to court and to pay solicitor fees.

As other say. They ignore messages.

Still left as 1 tick 2 weeks later.
Why have this as option if you can't deliver it.

The parking eye starts billing as you enter.
Which by the time you walk over to the pay point with small children who you have to secure 1st.
Then parking machine was faulty. So took a little time to use pay by phone app, which starts payment from when you start paying and not when you arrived.

Plus they ignore British parking association guidelines on parking.

The car park owners do respond to a few posters. But we all know this is just PR as the person receiving the message can't reply to it.

Never park there.

After parking in Liverpool at Cains Brewery/Baltic market, they issued a parking charge of 60 pounds days later. When I inputted my details into their parking machine, it charged me 2 pounds, which I paid. When I drove into the parking lot (and this is their mistake), there was ZERO signage visible in the dark that mentions you need to enter your registration BEFORE you leave your car in there, and not after you drive out like most car parks, that charge you once they've calculated how long you've been (you know, real carparks that actually have ANPR). This is not a car park, it's a square of concrete with no barrier or anything, no signage, nothing in the dark that mentions this. I, being a decent citizen, did not try to outsmart how much I owed. I literally do not care about paying the full amount of hours worth of parking - its literally around 4 pounds. So, this parking charge, which suddenly and randomly increased exponentially to 60 whole pounds, makes absolutely zero sense. They take decent, normal folk who have actually paid for their parking and rinse them like a daylight robbery. Therefore, with a terribly non-signposted concrete area/parking lot that doesn't have any electronics or technology that tells you you pay BEFORE, why should anyone be charged such an exponential amount? They did not even realise that this was their mistake - they just assumed I overstayed parking for no reason - I input my details, and THEIR machine, quoted me 2 pounds, which is why I paid it. We cannot allow such disgusting companies to completely rob innocent folk who are not trying to cheat or lie to the system - things like this should go against common human decency. I don't think they realise they have lost multiple customers over this and completely deters anyone from actually using their car park. I would much rather go to a parking place that actually looks after their customers. This is truly disgusting - long story short, I won't be paying a penny to them, and they owe me for the distress.

Apologies to Cains Brewery, I won't be coming again. I have also emailed them on social media as well as sending them the Trust Pilot page to show how much business they've lost because of this scam company. Oh also, to everyone reading, you are not legally obliged to give this bunch of hideous scammers anything!

BEWARE!! AVOID THESE CARPARKS AT ALL COSTS!!!! Terrible fraudulent company who don’t reply to emails and just keep increasing the charge with no faculty to speak to anyone or appeal via the instructions given on the voicemail on the mobile number provided on the letter (I’ve rang the number on numerous occasions and always goes to voicemail) I presume the ONLY two good reviews on here are to the two con artist who run this fraudulent company!!!

Signage for the payment app was incorrect so I apparently paid the wrong car park it seems. No acceptance that the signage is not just confusing but wrong. They don’t answer emails or WhatsApp and the payment page on the internet is broken. I paid because I can’t be bothered to fight it but they are just money collectors and they are not even very good at that. Very unpleasant company.

Received a fine and sent an email to appeal the day i got the letter, received no response then 2 weeks later another letter to say the fine was now £100 despite my appeal not even being acknowledges, several voicemails left but no response This company needs to be reported to the watchdog and trading standards as its a scam and should not be allowed

If I could rate this criminal company a 0 then I would! Received a PCN, sent evidence of payment. After going back and forth, it came to light that I made an error entering the incorrect registration. I was then told if I had have entered 1 or 2 digits wrong, then they would void the charge, but as I entered the incorrect registration, then I have to pay. When I questioned this, they added it was due to 'costs they'd incurred'. After asking for a break down of costs, I was ignored until today when I have received a threatening letter from Gladstone's Solicitors. Having paid for a parking space and staying within the amount of time I had paid for, I will not be giving these cowboys another pound of my money.

I will also be sharing my experience with local MP's, journalists and on social media to make local people aware of the bully boy tactics they apply to innocent customers who have already paid for a space in their carpark!

Shocking company.
Letters are sent demanding money which are full of mistakes, any documents they are required to give or forms are not sent.
First letter did not arrive but a second letter and final demand did.
Won't provide evidence that I overstayed in the car park and completely ignore any correspondence.
Phone number doesn't work, just goes straight to answer phone.
Logged a complaint with the ICO, due to their lack of correspondence when submitting a subject access request to them. Also logged a complaint with the IPC which they are a member of and trading standards.
Utterly rude people who can not be bothered responding.
Wouldn't even bother parking their, it's not even smooth tarmac and operated by two con men down in London.

Visited for 50 mins - machines were faulty but persevered and eventually got a ticket for 1 hour. Returned within the hour and have now received a PCN for £100 saying I did not pay. Attempting to appeal but they have deliberately made the process v difficult. A complete scam - how are they getting away with this?!

Never park here.machine was broke so payed by phone only to find out money had not been taken from bank when it said complete on phone same thing happened to my brother same day on different phone. Now both been issued with 60 pound parking fines. Scam robbery will be spreading the word to never park here

Absolutely disgusting! Payed for ticket after attempting to use the machines which where broken and eventually payed on my phone before even leaving the car park which I have proof of then I got sent a letter saying I overstayed when i was stood at the machine for a while trying to get a ticket before having to get it on my phone! I appealed it and didn’t hear anything back and spoke to someone on the phone and they said it was sorted after explaining and now I have a letter from Gladstone saying I owe 170! To which they are responding saying they can’t do anything now.
Reading other reviews it seems to be the case with everyone so I will be reporting this company aswell to trading standards!

DO NOT USE THEIR CARPARKS YOU WILL PAY FOR PARKING AND THEY STILL FINE YOU. EMAILS WITH EVIDENCE ALL IGNORED. THIS COMPANY IS DODGY.

Bought a ticket for two hours. Received a letter this morning saying that my ticket did not cover my stay of 90 minutes! Will be appealing and never parking there again. Dodgy as hell!

Paid £5 for parking in the Baltic Market Car Park, got a PCN letter for the trouble, will defend this in court if they don't accept the appeal.

Machines are faulty. You press the correct ticket for the amount of time the machine changes this then sends you a PCN.

Appealed which was sent posted and signed for.. company stated they didn't recieve. Then had to appeal again via email and chase correspondence. This was refused.

Putting people under financial pressure and hardship for greed! Absolutely disgusting!

Wondered why the car park was half empty at a busy time. Should have read these reviews beforehand. The number of people being ripped off as they pay cash at the machine is astounding!
This company need investigating!
In my case, I paid in advance, entered car park albeit 46seconds early according to their time. My google maps timeline shows 8.01 but hey... whats a minute when I'd paid to 11:30 and left at 10:45 right?
Low and behold I get the £100 "fine" which is reduced to only £60 if I pay it quickly.
I honestly think this firm just try it on. I wont be using their services again, and unlikely I will be visiting Cains Brewery Village again either as this reflects on them too.
