Despite a production delay the product…
Despite a production delay the product came on time, I liked the personal hand written touches, something sadly missing in modern transactions, The product is top shelf and the two options for mounting is a smart move as I needed the thicker mount, easy to charge & install & very bright, top function button is a little difficult to press but I glued on an extra black rubber button to make it easier, settings are fine & waterproof, I'd like to see a remote capability introduced in future evolutions as it would be good to be able to change the settings while mobile

Really effective!
Great support from the europe team (joao). Showed me pictures of his own schuberth helmet. Noticed immediately the effect of using brake free. The drivers behind were taking their distance instead driving very close to me.

Confidence Guaranteed
Initially I gave a low rating based on the order process, which was unfair to Brake Free Tech EU as the real problem lays with the UK's Royal Mail which is well past it's sell date for being scrapped/taken over.
I still hope future orders for this wonderful product will have an option for delivery via UPS for example which take like 3 days from US collection to delivery to the UK and cost little more than charged for this item!
Brake Free Tech themselves I thank wholeheartedly for the R&D and finally getting their product to Market. The confidence this unit gives to me whilst riding is fantastic. It's bright and it's bold essential to being seen, slowing and coming to stop! A really great product that not only looks the part but feels like it too.
Future plans for Brake Free Tech? integrating signal turns? rear camera and hud? Now that's something I'd be interested in!
Patience is the key when ordering this item, especially if a UK customer, expect and be prepared for delivery delays. Joao will respond quickly to your emails, but there is little he can do if the package enters the black hole of customs and excise.

The produkt is fine , but I have a SCHUBERTH helmet and the back of the helmet is kind of flat so the lamp do not fit perfekt. So I dont No wat to do!

While the Brake Free light is designed to be compatible with most helmet shapes, certain helmets, like those with flatter backs, might present a challenge. We recommend using the XL mount, which is designed to provide a more flexible fit for helmets with broader curves or flatter areas. A major improvement in safety!
I only rode a few times so far with the Brake Free light, but I am very happy with it, very impressed with the way it lights up when desacelerating and also the chance to choose from 3 different light modes acoording to the visibility conditions when riding.
The only thing I think could be improved is the sensitivity of the switch button, it seems a bit hard to press and I don't manage well to disconnect at first try, but maybe with practice that will change...
The mounting went perfect, it stucks there really nice and solid, I would only wish it would follow the roundness of my helmet more thightly - I have a closed helmet, HJC F71 - but still it looks almost part of the
helmet itself!
I have 3 125cc scooters, one of them is a classic Vespa from 1977, so it is a welcome improvement in visibility, specially for that one!
Overall I am very happy with it, despite being quite expensive, but the
convenience of it being wireless and the way it works when only desacelerating is worth it,I highly recommend it!

Good product, even better customer service
I was really impressed with the idea of a brake light, high up on the back of my helmet. I bought the Brake Free and love it. Easy to install and easy to use. I get a lot of positive comments from other motorcyclists.
I had a problem with the on/off button and the team sent me out a replacement immediately. I'm impressed with the product and even more impressed with their customer service.
It's rare and so welcome, so well done 👏👏
I'd highly recommend it.

Great little device and improves overall safety when riding.
I saw the brake free tech advertised online, a simple unit that would improve my visibility and safety when riding. Quick and simple ordering process and delivery was quick and seamless.
Fitting instructions were simple to follow, the unit is light and and adds very little additional weight to the helmet.
I have had several riders approach me to ask about the brake free tech commenting that it improves my visibility and activates with natural deceleration through engine braking.
I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

Hi Malcom, I noticed that you’ve left us with two devastating 1-star reviews indicating that you did not receive any answer to your enquiries… as I’m running the show all by myself, I can guarantee you that I did not receive any questions prior to your reviews, so my best guess is that either your message would somehow end up misplaced (e.g. spam folder) or weren’t delivered at all. Understand that customer satisfaction is everything to me, and thus I’d like to help you to the best of my ability.
In regards to your order #1575 I see that it’s currently with UK customs for which you should receive a letter in regards to the handling of VAT surcharges or similar. Did you check the track and trace links in your account? The track and trace link from parcel force actually shows that your parcel was already delivered today?!
So kindly let me know if something is not right here and needs further investigation. Because from where I’m standing you might’ve send out two 1-star reviews while acquiring your two brake free shortly after…
If this is the case, I kindly ask you to reevaluate your decision of leaving two 1-star reviews… as it seems it was perhaps send prematurely… understand that I will do whatever that’s in my power to attain a high degree of customer satisfaction and would like to find out what went wrong during your delivery process.
