I purchased the brake free which was shipped on 23-04-2026.
I have just received an invoice for £57.16 from fedex. This is for import tax and a disbursement fee.When I ordered the brake free no-one mentioned that import duty was applicable. Is this a scam or is it genuine.If this is genuine then I think you should make that clear when ordering. I could have purchased this item from Amazon for a lower price and would not have had to pay £19. 00 for express shipping.Also item did not arrive within 3-5 days as suggested,it took 4 weeks.

Received the unit with 5 days delay.
Out of the box experience was bad unit didn't work no battery at all tried 5 deferent chargers because it was overheating and stopped charging after 2 minutes eventually I used power bank for over 5 hours to just charge it and after all this it was stuck with only 2 led power up had to make 2 resets to eventually start for that expensive unit to have this kind of out of the box experience is bad never mind the delay of delivery never buying again for sure.

Perfect build. Not to heavy. Bright LED lights. Responds good and not to much. Truly a life saver. Every biker should have one.

My Brake Free was delivered in four days and I was updated on its progress throughout the delivery journey. The Brake Free unit was easy to mount on the helmet and works perfectly. The weight is not noticeable.

Just had to google the different programs cus I thought it only has one 😅 had to get the white one for my black helmet cus black one was unavailable at the time but have zero regrets. For you as a rider you have to be seen when you want to stop/ brake and many drivers don't see you. Some signals are not good enought. An extra power led light on your helmet is a game changer and works great. With Brakefree I just invested in my safety !

Tijdens de Utrecht Motorcycle Show 2026 kwam ik de stand van Brake Free tegen. Na de uitleg en het zien van het product was ik meteen enthousiast – en na het gebruikt te hebben, kan ik zeggen dat die verwachtingen volledig zijn waargemaakt.

Wat mij betreft is de Brake Free Light een van de slimste veiligheidsaccessoires die je aan je motoruitrusting kunt toevoegen. Je monteert het lampje eenvoudig op de achterkant van je helm en het werkt volledig automatisch: zodra je remt, gaat het fel branden. Dit maakt je veel beter zichtbaar voor het verkeer achter je, vooral in druk stadsverkeer en bij slecht weer.

Wat voor mij echt het verschil maakt, is dat ik tijdens het rijden merk dat auto's achter me duidelijk meer afstand houden dan voorheen. Dat geeft een veel veiliger en rustiger gevoel op de weg. Het lijkt alsof automobilisten je sneller en serieuzer opmerken als je afremt.

Daarnaast is het een groot pluspunt dat het systeem geen verbinding met de motor vereist. Geen kabels en geen gedoe – gewoon opladen en rijden. De lichtopbrengst is sterk en helder, zelfs overdag, en de reactietijd is snel. De bouwkwaliteit voelt robuust aan en het ontwerp is strak, waardoor het goed past bij vrijwel elke helm. De Brake Free Light geeft me merkbaar meer zelfvertrouwen op de weg en verhoogt mijn gevoel van veiligheid tijdens elke rit.

Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die veiligheid serieus neemt.
