So far this has been a terrible experience. Due to covid19 and our airline shutting down all operations we cannot travel. The hostel hosting our trip has been AMAZING, I cannot stress that enough. Booksurfcamps however is proving to be very dishonest. I asked about a refund given the absolute horrible unforeseen circumstances that are affecting everyone right now. They refuse to refund us and say they will only credit us if we choose to book using their website in the future. In the meantime, speaking to the hostel hosting this trip, they wish to refund us fully and then I find out they have not actually even been paid for the trip yet, which is supposed to start in two days. So booksurfcamps has not transferred them any money, and wish to hold on to it, despite our actual host wanting to refund us because obviously everyone is suffering right now and this is a lot of money, $1000 CDN! Booksurfcamps needs to learn to be more honest like their smaller counterparts hosting the trips they are selling. They are obviously a massive company and this is totally unacceptable. I would absolutely never use them again. Luckily the actual hosts have been incredible and working with my husband and I so wonderfully to hopefully get our refund so that we can travel in the future once all this clears up.

Very easy to search for what you want, to have overview on available options, see reviews, communicate with the camps. I had once a problem, a camp I booked shifted the dates. So I contacted BookSurfCamps and they helped me to get my money back.

I booked a sup tour for Croatia. I paid my deposit and booked my flights independently as advised only to find out that the tour was cancelled. They refunded my deposit however I was unable to get a refund on my flights. An alternative tour was offered but with totally different beginning and end locations so the flights I had booked were totally inappropriate. I emailed them with this information and they asked for proof of my flights which I sent in order to give me a refund then changed their mind and told me that it was my fault as I booked my flights. I was out of pocket for just under £300!

this camp was amazing, the education and instruction for the surf lessons were more then one could hope for and give you the confidence in the water that your looking for, whether you are skilled in the ocean or not.
you also find a new family.

Best week with the best team ! Everyone in the hotel goes above and beyond for everybody to feel at his or her best. The cook is more than delicious and the rooms are always clean. The view from the hotel is amazing, you can enjoy awesome sunsets or sunrises. The yoga teacher and the surf instructors will always help you to improve yourself. They’re all smiling and caring. You are really treated like family. Everything in this place will make you feel happy, I recommend this place 200% !

Book surf camps is a fantastic resource! Their emails are simple and easy to absorb, with clear photos and no clutter. They offer fast helpful responses. There prices included everything as described, with no surprises. Their communication messaging system works really well to communicate with and track convos with the local surf company. Their information gave me the confidence to book something in this completely unknown place. The local surf company they recommended is terrific!i will trust their recommendations any time and will definitely book another surf vacation through book surf camps.

Amazing web site, with amazing Surf & Yoga Retreats. The one I had the chance to go to, was amazing, Tiny Whale in Lagos, Algarve.
I will continue booking through them for other retreats.

The kindness and smile of Dagy and Marijn will welcome you in a beautiful and artistic hostel, they are always available to help and very useful for making your stay cozy. The skill of the surf teachers: Miguel, Gonçalo, Joao and Hugo will help you to learn how to surf while having a lot of fun. Lessons are for every levels and held with great preparation, professionalisms and patience. To sum up an awesome team that will allow you to “stay, surf and relax”! Last but not least every room of the hostel (very clean) is a piece of art as they have different styles and are painted by a local artist. I highly recommend Hostel&Surfcamp55!!!!

I was so happy when I found the website BookSurfCamps because it helped me find the perfect activity at the perfect location for my vacation. I booked kitesurfing lessons in Tarifa and everything was perfect! The communication went smoothly and arriving there everything was perfectly organised and very professional. A great and reliable website for finding a good surfing place!

Highly recommend staying at Golden waves. The lodge is clean, comfortable and has a great vibe. It has a great location and amazing outdoor space. All the personnel and surf instructor were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
