There was absolutely no reason to even…

There was absolutely no reason to even use this app…all it did was take my money and send me the shipping labels, all. Which I could have done at the UPS store. I selected a bike store to pack the bike and they told me it would be $150 for them to pack it and drop it off…and I had the original shipping box. Not sure what service they provided.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience. It sounds like there may have been some misunderstanding about how our service works and what is included with a Bikeflights order.

Bikeflights provides the shipping service, including discounted carrier rates, shipping labels, tracking, and support throughout the shipment. Packing and drop-off are separate services provided by the bike shop, and each shop sets its own pricing for those services. We always recommend contacting the selected shop **before placing an order** to confirm that they offer packing/drop-off services, what they charge, and what they need from you. This is especially important if you already have a shipping box, as the shop may have different policies or pricing for using customer-provided packaging.

We’re sorry this wasn’t clearer during your experience. We appreciate the feedback and will look for ways to make the process and expectations around shop services more apparent.

Not enough instructions/guidance on re-packing

Good customer support. Helpful and fast. Good pricing. Could have used more guidance on re-packing with original packing material and most importantly...no one ever tells you the front of bike will seem to high and box won't close properly unless A) deflate tires. B) Compress the suspension forks with zip ties. Took me an hour to troubleshoot why the bike would not fit into its original box. The manufacturer in China was no help of course. They got back to me too late and they sent me a pic of a totally different bike wrapped up and in a box. It was ridiculous.

5 star service

I’ve had a recent interaction with customer service. UPS audit found bike box measurements inaccurate. Re measure resulted in a partial refund of extra charge. Box had taken a hit and was messed up on one end and I learned to round up measurement. In return trip I used a smaller better box. Bike came back in perfect condition, a day early.
