Veteran Bikeflights Users
We have been using Bikeflights for many years. We have never had a single problem. The online ordering is fairly simple, and they offer packing suggestions as well. The shipping labels are sent to us in a timely manner, along with placement instructions. Our bikes have always arrived when expected, delivered to our front door. (On the way out we do drop the bike boxes off at UPS ourselves, though). We do recommend them highly.

I took my bike to a local bike shop
I took my bike to a local bike shop, the Peddler in Austin, Texas. They were great! They packed the bike and gave me the dimensions. They also were very helpful in getting the package picked up for Bikeflight.
The Peddler gave me the dimensions and then all I had to do was put the dimensions in Bikeflight website, pay, and email the shipping label to the Peddler where the bike was picked up.
Based on recommendations from the Internet, I shipped the bike to a local Bike store near my son rather than an address where it could be stolen if he was at work. The bike shop was able to receive the bike, unpack and do a tuneup before my son took it out on the road. Shout out to Bike by Gato in NYC for their help.
It was a seamless process.
The tracking system worked well and the bike arrived safely to its destination

Disappointed that box arrived soaking…and with Holes in the box
Disappointed that box arrived soaking wet and with holes in the box. Hopeful the bike is ok. I am taking it to a bike shop to be put back together and will be filing a complaint if bike is damaged. Will get back to the bike flight if there is an issue with the bike

I placed an order to ship a bike and…
I placed an order to ship a bike and paid with my credit card and it didn't go thru and received a message that said I have to contact support. I did and they said payment failed because of insufficent funds. I used my standard credit card which should have no issues. I didn't use a debit card. So I tried again and this time it went thru.
