I wan't to start this review by saying that in all aspects - bar one very important one - the quality of these shoes is very impressive. The leather and the sole are top quality, easily comparable to anything common projects produce. At such a low price point that's very hard to argue with.

There was one major issue with one of my shoes however which appears to be a design issue: there is a stitched seam which runs up the achillies/heel which, at the top, is extremely prominent and stiff. This has caused my left shoe to be extremely uncomfortable (it has drawn blood repeatedly) and does not appear to be loosening up over time. As this is not quite as bad on the right shoe it may just be an isolated problem, but I can only review based on my experience.

I feel the heel is an area where the design can be improved. Common Projects for example use a suede layer to cover their heel seam which is a very comfortable experience. If it wasn't for this I would have given 5 stars but shoes need to be comfortable and certainly should not draw blood - no matter how new.

Great fit and quality shoes. I have a fairly slim/narrow foot but the shoe fits great.

I tried going one size down as recommended but that didn’t work out for me and I got it exchanged for my standard UK10.

I got the ‘warm grey’ colour and it looks exactly like in the pictures. Great alternative to the standard white trainer.

Great experience with Artisan Lab! Trainers fit slightly large over common projects, would suggest to people trying a size down first. A very sleek and well-designed shoe with high-quality materials used. Without a doubt will be purchasing another pair very soon. Job well-done guys!

By way of explanation, I’ve been looking for a pair of classic slim design white style trainers made with quality Italian leather for some time now, but often found such style of trainers being sold for extortionate prices. It was actually through an Instagram Ad that I came across Artisan lab. At £120 for a pair with the promise of hassle-free 14 day return and exchange, I thought I’d give it a go. I can assure you that its most definitely worth your time to give AL’s trainers and service a go.

Style and quality is subjective, but for me the AL trainers were perfect and exactly what i was after. Slim and smart in design, strong yet comfortable in its material and fit, I was truly impressed.

Then the service was truly beyond reproach. The first pair that came through my door didn’t feel like the perfect fit and I queried whether i should have gone a size smaller (in fact, AL does recommend that you order a size below your norm on their website but I chose to ignore it!). So I emailed AL and almost immediately Ricardo (who I understand is the founder and CEO) responded personally and gave me an impassioned response to my queries as well as showing genuine concern whether that pair was right for me. Once I confirmed I’d like an exchange Ricardo emailed me a pre-paid label and within a week I had the perfect pair through - exchange was truly hassle-free.

I then ordered a black pair, but when it arrived I just didn’t think the style of black trainers suited me (again, this is very subjective and so I can’t blame the trainer itself), so I emailed for a refund; I immediately got a very understanding email from Ricardo, and following an exchange of emails I concluded that I’d like to regret a refund. So Ricardo sent me a pre-paid label and within a few days an email confirming the refund was received followed by payment - refund was truly hassle-free.

I would highly recommend supporting this start-up trainer brand. Again, style is subjective, but with the immense quality in service, there’s simply nothing to lose in giving AL a go, and thats why I’d Highly recomend AL!

What a quality sneaker! I got the white ones and I haven’t taken them off since I bought them. I also got stopped twice on the street by 2 random guys asking what brand my sneakers were....

I would recommend to buy a pair or few to everyone. One of the deals lately.

Purchased two pairs (one male, one female) sight unseen and my expectations were blown away. The quality of the shoes is phenomenal, and the customer service and attention and care that Riccardo provides is unparalleled. Would really recommend going with Artisan-Labs than other similar Italian sewn sole sneakers that are available.

Riccardo is a very good d human being, hard working and with an eye for fashion which is reflected in the shoes that he has personally designed,, I love the pair I bought from him. Looking forward to other stuff that he brings out in due course!

It's masterpiece. Design-wise a statement. Quality is just outstanding and the comfort is 10 out of 10. I really wish you all the best guys!

Artisan Lab- I consider as one of the most exciting companies around the quality of their sneaker is on per with the most luxury sneaker without the price tag.

Comfortable to walk in and wear for daily use.

Having tried the trainers on, they are super comfortable, the leather is clearly of superior quality, the fit is nice and neat and so look sleek and slimline.
For me the wining factor is definitely the price vs quality aspect. As someone who worked in the fashion industry for 6 years , i was bombed at the affordable price for these luxury quality trainers.

I went to the pre-launch event of the brand to discover the inspiration and motivations behind it and did not regret it. It was great meeting the founder of the brand and understand his inspirations.
Regarding the shoes, I've had my pair for over 2 months and I can say this is very high quality, the leather and comfort are amazing, the narrow shape of the shoes makes them easy to wear on any occasion (smart-chic).
Highly recommend the shoes, the leather quality is exceptional, did not have any blister even the first wears, just AMAZING.
