It has been the 3rd day since these shoes arrived for a huge price I expected something close to flawless, the order was the Essential Sneaker- White Vintage (44EU as recommended by Artisan Labs). For starters I am in high school age 14 and live in Asia so the taxes and the shipment fees cost a fortune, in total it costed me an extra 50pounds for local taxes and 25pounds for shipping which now totals the cost of my shoes to 200pounds. What I also did was requested the cream laces provided on their website instead of the white laces the shoe had come accustomed with, since I believed it would match the sole color and form the look I was striving for. That was disregarded and I had to order the cream laces individually which was worth 5 pounds. I wouldn't be concerned if the shoes would come in the condition that is going to give me confidence to wear it for years to come. It was this morning when I begun to notice the insides of my left pair forming some sort of air bubble, that makes it seem like the glue has not been stuck well to the shoe body and I am not sure how they would hold up in the long run. I am also faced with both the sides to both my pair peeling little by little but surely noticable with closer inspection. The heel slippage occurs very often but I am giving it time since these shoes are larger than my current foot size. The tongue stitching on the left shoes is also lopsided slanting to the left as I walk or wear it at all, this seems to be a faulty stitching issue and not my small foot size. Since, it really distorts the shoe profile and it is really frustrating on my foot as I wear it. I am to say that all of the negative points coming together is just disappointing, these are also my first Italian made sneakers which is not by any means cheap. The shoes certainly look unpromising in this current state and I have not received any compensation yet.

Was looking at other brands however they were either over £300 for the quality materials at £140 for good leather but non Margom soles.

To my delight I came across Artisan Lab, quality leather, Margom soles for £135 shipped in the UK.

Like all leather footwear they need a few days to break in but they are absolutely fantastic and so versitle, I am looking at a few other colourways like Cognac and double black, feel free to drop me a dis punt code 😁👍

Wonderful experience with Gary and Artisan Lab. I absolutely love my large tote. You know when you ask for something to be added to an artist work and they are happy to make suggestions for the addition that you are in good hands. Exceptional quality. As any leather lover knows it can be stiff in the beginning but will be just right shortly! The look is professional but personal to me and I can not be happier with product or service. I don’t usual write reviews unless it’s outstanding. I’m very particular about quality of shoes. I like to know I’m getting value for money not just paying for a name. I ordered the essential white full grain leather. I’m a 10.5 UK and went to an EU 44 (10 UK) as most instructed. The size is just right, a little snug but will loosen in time. The insoles are very thick on the heel so these could be replaced to make more room. I ordered Friday and they arrived in UK Wednesday direct from Italy via Fedex. Presentation, quality and service all outstanding. These are excellent value for money and nothing at this price comes close. Just buy them and see for yourself.

are they unisex? And is the sizing accurate to standard eu sizing?? Thank you x

So I have been deliberating about these for months, they kept popping up on my instagram and I thought they always looked great. I have never owned a pair of Italien trainers before, and these are certainly a great place to start. They arrived in good time and the smell of fresh leather coming out of the box was amazing. Quality is great and comfort is fantastic. Really an amazing set pair of sneakers and is comparison to other similar products phenominal value for money! thanks guys really great stuff.

Bought the classic white sneakers from Artisan lab and i am very pleased with the purchase so far. I will be waiting for them to release a new batch with a suede leather upper.

I bought a pair of the chinos and the quality is excellent. Great wait for most months and would look to buy more if they expand the colours available.

I purchased two sneakers from Artisan Lab and everything were fantastic. The quality of the sneakers are really good, and after some weeks they are really comfortable.

I own a pair of Artisan Lab essential sneakers. The shoes are comfortable, look good, and overall I think the quality is exceptional.

I contacted the customer service prior to buying the shoes because i needed help choosing the right size. They were quick to respond and very helpful.

The shipping was fast and the package arrived in perfect condition.

I would reccomend Artisan Lab to anyone

I highly recommend Artisan Lab: I have bought the minimal version in black recently and they are super comfortable. You can see and smell the high quality of the Italian leather and the precious work that has been done by the artisans.
They have an excellent staff, very responsive. In particular, Riccardo was able to answer all my questions before the purchase in a professional way and also gave me some precious advice for the shoes' care and cleaning.

I’ve had my trainers for 3 plus months now & have only good things to say about them.

When I received my trainers initially they were too big. No problem, I was able to exchange them with ease.

Overall, very happy with my purchase. I would be happy to recommend and will be purchasing again.

I have been contemplating for awhile whether I should write a review about Artisan-Lab sneakers and decided to do so.

In December, I bought two pairs of Artisan Lab shoes (Essential White and Black Vintage). The quality and craftsmanship of these shoes have significant potential in the sneaker markets. However, I have not received the experience I expected.

Since the very first day, I have been fighting with comfortable fitting of these shoes specifically in the heel area. I have been experiencing heel slippage in both pairs but more so in my White pair. I tried to adjust the shoes (White) with shoe inserts/insoles as well as swapping the shoe footbeds (per Ricardo). Nothing works!

In addition, the sizing between these two pairs are inconsistent. Both pairs are in size 42. However, the White pair is larger than the Black pair somehow. Per Ricardo, Artisan-Lab adopted new breed of footbeds which are thicker. This is may be the reason why the Black pair fits a little better but still does not solve the heel slippage problem.

Furthermore, I thought the shoes might need time to break-in (the leather seem to be on the stiff side). But after over a month of trying to break them in, they are just NOT working out for me. Although the black pair fits me better, but they are not as comfortable as I expected either. I believe the main issue is with the heel and the stiffness of the leather.

I went to a couple of department stores and tried on Common Projects and Koio in size 42. They fit me perfectly with no heel slipping/sliding. Although, I believe they used better leather upper and as well as the lining inside including in the heel area.

I contacted Artisan-Lab and exchanged a few emails with Ricardo to try to solve the heel slippage problem, but after a couple emails he went quiet.

I am very heart broken and disappointed.

As I stated in my first sentence of this review. I truly believe that Artisan-Lab has great products and they are as good as or better than CP and other overpriced sneaker brands. For me, I will have to continue to resolve my heel slippage problem and continue to experimenting with other methods to get rid of this issue.

Have purchased both the Essential sneaker and a pair of the navy chinos, both have definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. Artisan is a hugely overused word these days, but these guys are the real deal. Having met with Riccardo to try the sneakers I got a first-hand sense of what drives them and artisans they most definitely are. Looking forward to seeing what other products they'll be offering.

I purchased 2 sneakers from Artisan Lab already. After 7 months of wearing my first pair approx. 3 times a week, I noticed that a small spot of the leather located on the right inside heel was peeling off. Therefore I sent a complaint to their Email asking them for a solution. At first they responded quickly & were asking for a picture of the issue which was sent to them promptly. After not receiving an answer for a couple days, I wrote a 1 star review. However Artisan Lab then responded & apologized for the slow response as my issue seemed very unique & they were waiting for feedback from their factories. Although claiming that the defect was caused by lack of shoe care from my side whereas I was claiming that the issue was material-based, they offered a free repair nonetheless.

The second pair holds up quite nicely & they still look box fresh.

Very good. I’m super satisfied with my minimal white. They look better on me than CP court low, since they very look alike. Still, i’m not gonna give 5 stars considering i got them three days ago. We’ll see how they’re going to look after some time. So far so good.
