received my acg200 from arccaptain in two days,i repaired a post driver with it. it does a good job. I have not gotten 220 set up yet. well up date after a little more welding and getting 220 hooked up. so far I highly recommend this company and the machine.

After much debate I decided to purchase the Arccaptian Tig 200P. As an amateur 81 year old guy I found this welder very easy to use. I practiced a little and was making some decent welds. I had not used the pulse function yet but decided to try it. The pulse function is a game changer for me. I made a box out of 1/8" thick aluminum using pulse tig and it looked great. I highly recommend this Arccaptain Tig 200P welder.

Great value and responsive customer service. I looked at a lot of other welders before choosing these and had a number of questions quickly answered. I can't wait to get my hands on my new Welders!

I own just about every welder this company makes along with their plasma cutter. I am not only pleased with them but for the money would put them against any company in their price points and against several levels higher. The Arc200 is an amazing little stick welder. The MiG 130 and 200 are unbelievable with features the competition can’t touch at these price points. The Tig200P is unbelievable and I would put against any Tig machine under $1.5K. All of their machines have excellent warranties and their customer service is really good. Of course you’re always going to be able to find something you don’t like but for the value and functionality of these machines, Arccaptain can’t be beat.

Arc captain is great! Their welders are really nice. They work just as good as Lincoln or miller machines in my opinion. At 90% less cost.

I got an ACDC Tig machine a few weeks ago. The machine does well with steel, however it will not work on the AC/aluminum setting. I've contacted ArcCaptain who told me to send pictures of my welds with aluminum. I sent pictures along with a description of the settings used on the aluminum. I've heard nothing from the company. I've tried to call the number on the website. No one responds or picks up the phone. No one has gotten back to me with regards to how the machine is 'performing.' I chose this company because it states a 5 year warranty on the machine, however given the lack of customer service I can now see they don't care at all about the consumer once you have purchased the equipment. Purchase here at your own risk. Cross your fingers that you get a good machine with all the parts because there will be no support afterwards and the warranty seems useless.

Really good welder and affordable i recently bought 4 machine and will buy more for sure really recomended big to small jobs

This machine is absolutely amazing. I have done a huge amount of sheet metal work with it. It does the work very consistently. I would absolutely buy it again. Highly recommend

I got my Mig 200 delivered on May 4 2024. It did not come with 0.6V roller or any 2LB wire rolls,etc as shown on the Arccaptain website.
Update Apparently I have been told they do not supply any of those items for the Mig 200. Who knew??? There website for ordering lacks a WHOLE bunch of transparency when ordering the Mig 200 mig welder. Well see if they improve on it so no one else is disappointing. I was fooled in part because they have given away this model, Mig 200, with all kinds of stuff eg helmet, wire, gloves etc to countless, probably 20 U Tubers, for there review. This gives the viewer a FALSE impression when the U Tubers do an unboxing to see what they got ( a lot more than what I was expecting based on the U Tubers unboxing) and then the U tuber turn around and give you a discount code to get one!!!! WOW!!!!

I always find what I'm looking for and at the best price here but even better is their customer support. Their willingness to go above and beyond to satisfy customers is top notch.

Just received my acdc tig200p. Product looks very high quality. Looks very nice. Can't wait to try out both the new tig machine and brand new helmet.

Accidently ordered the wrong size of an item and they switched it out for me free of charge!

I purchased a new Arccaptain ac dc 200 welder from the Arccaptain website and was sent a repackaged welding machine with fingerprints and scuff marks all over the digital display. It is like a "B" stock or someone else's returned item. As I opened the cartons it was immediately obvious it was repackaged in a hurry. The manual was under the unit's feet and was mangled there, the cord was pinched between the styrofoam blocks and the frame, permanently welding the styrofoam to the power cord and with the large bulky cord end connector left in front of the digital display leaving scuff marks and scratches on the unprotected digital display. I sent 15 photos of the damages and it took 3 days to get any response, which was basicaly a denial. So I contacted my credit card company and opened a dispute, something I have never done before. Still not resolved and it's going on a week since I contacted them. Initially I asked for an exchange which they ignored. So now I just want out, cancel the whole thing. Going on a week now, no word from them. I still need a welding machine though.

After a couple of weeks passed I heard from arc captain, they said they were all on holiday in China was why no response. They wanted me to call an outfit in Tennesee to return the unit. I called and left a message. A week later I called again and this time that outfit sent a shipping label, so I sent it using that label.

Wednesday, March 20, 2024, still no welding machine here. Still waiting for the new machine they promised. If or when it arrives in new undamaged condition I will tell the credit card company the transaction is fixed and to drop the dispute. We'll see what arc captain does in the coming weeks.

Initially purchased the MIG 200. Unfortunately, there was an issue with it. I contacted customer service sent them a video. They immediately recognized the issue and sent me a brand new unit immediately. I have to say that I judge a company by its customer service. so far they have been great. As for the machine I have already used it on multiple projects using stick, MiG gas and flux. it seems to be working very well on both 110 and 220. I look forward to many winter projects with this.

I have been wanting to try tig welding for a long time. I did research and found Arc Captain 200P acdc welder to be the best bang for the buck.
It arrived and I had a problem with no gas flow.
I made a comment on Arccaptain Facebook page and got help from customer service the first day!
They sent me a brand new set up within 10 days!!!
Now I am tig welding and it's awesome!!!
Shout out and 5 stars to whoever is running customer service!
I know where I'm going for my next purchase. I have my eyes set on that auto helmet. Yeah!!!

Responsive customer service. You get way more product than you’re paying for

I reciently ran into some YouTube videos on YouTube. All on the Arccaptain 200P AC/DC tig welder. I have been wanting one. So I pulled the trigger. I had it in less than a week. While I was waiting I ordered the cut50 plasma cutter. They both took less than a week to get here. Let me tell you, the 200p tig, what a welder. I’m new into it, and let me tell you, what a great looking welder, and it performs awesome. After three weeks into it, and watching more videos, and talking with other menbers on the Arccaptain community page, I am putting out some great welds. I talk with Arccaptain about every night, let me tell you, great great people! I’m super happy with what I bought, and I’ll be sure to keep giving them my business. At 220 amp, the duty cycle is 60% and all the welding I have done, I never hit the duty cycle! If you’re on the fence to buy from Arccaptain, do yourself a favor, hurry and get over that fence! You will be glad you did! For a budget welder, these cannot be beat!they are a high frequency welder, and they can make lighter that way. They have some new stuff coming out next year that will be bigger and better! My hats off to such a great company if Arccaptain!

They are trying to reach a community of welders who can’t go out and spend 3-6 grand on a welder, when theirs will do anything my millermatic 252 will do.

First off I would like to say that the customer service is absolutely amazing. If I have a question they get right back with me quickly and second off the mig 200 Welder that I got first impression is a very nice Welder if your like me and you like to save money But still want a very good Welder then I suggest arccaptain welders , this company, hands-down is the place that I’ll go to for my welding needs affordable and great quality products and great customer service and the welder is great for what I need I race dirt track modifieds so I’m always needing to fix something with a welder and this was a perfect match for what I needed. I can put it in my trailer and use it at the dirt tracks for repairs and not only that it’s not heavy I love that about it and it welds great also and there welding helmets I wasn’t expecting it to look as good as what it does. It’s a very good quality welding helmet. I am super impressed with it. And it works great Don’t hesitate to buy one of their welders or any of their products you will not regret it.
