Worst shopping experience
Worst shopping experience. Their “customer service” is almost non-existent. The watch itself is nice, but you're paying for what you get. However, you'd better hope you don't get a defective piece, because they'll make every excuse possible to make it seem like you caused the issue. The watch was delivered to my house on 01/20. I wore it for the first time to the office on 01/22. After washing my hands, I noticed the watch had stopped working and that there was condensation on the glass. I have two more GMT watches, a Hamilton and an actual Seiko, so I know how to secure the crown properly.
The watch is advertised as 5ATM water-resistant, so washing my hands should not have affected it. I tried to reach out to them right away, but I didn't get an answer for 3 more days. Then I reached out to them through the shop app. Someone responded, requesting information, pictures, and a description of the issue, which I provided, and then they went silent again. So I reached out to them on Instagram, and again, they were engaging, but they gave me multiple excuses for why they couldn't issue a refund or fix the watch. The first was that I was out of the warranty because I took too long to report, which I proved by showing that I had reached out to them immediately, but they didn't respond. I only had the watch for 3 days. Then they said it was human error, and they couldn't do anything for me. I responded that the watch is advertised as 5ATM water-resistant, and the previous person had already agreed to make things right. So they asked me to “meet halfway” and ship the watch back to them, and, for a “small fee,” they would repair it. I did. The watch was shipped via FedEx and delivered to them on 02/05. It is now 02/11, and again, they have not responded to any of my emails. I bought my watch from this vendor because they advertise US manufacturing, so I wanted to support a local business.
Additionally, I dislike ordering things overseas because I want to avoid issues like this, but here I am now with no watch and $300 less in my account. After this issue, I did some digging, and the company does have mixed reviews. Someone in the UK had a similar issue, so if you do buy a watch, you'd better hope it doesn't have issues; they will give you the runaround and won't help you.
