Nothing but a scam. I traded my 11 Pro Max, was offered £265 online. As my phone was bought direct from Apple, they had serial number, they knew the age of the phone.. it was in perfect working order, never damaged so I expected trade in to be accurate.
Just got email saying they’ve reduced it to £100 due to ‘screen burn-in’ and ‘screen discolouration’. This is complete LIES! I have a video of the phone on the day I sent it away, showing the condition and showing the screen working perfectly with bright normal display. How a company like Apple can be associated with this scam is a disgrace. I’m refusing the trade in, I’ll have the phone back and sell it for much more. Suggest you avoid these scammers and sell your old phone elsewhere. AVOID!!

I sent in a pristine mac book pro. Now they don't have you package it but drop it off at FedEX. I had done a few trade-ins before with no problem. I got my response that my computer was worth $0 because it had a shattered and multiicracked screen. Someone damaged/dropped it in packaging and shipping and I am out $600 in trade in. DON"T use this service.

I would rate this 0 stars if possible.

There is no crack and no lens missing. It’s a con to get you to purchase on apple.com.
I rejected the offer of £0 and wanted it returned. It has come back with no crack and lens still there. Then they took £120 out of my account within 24hrs with no prior warning or receipt. Do not use!!

UPDATE: I got the item back, it was left outside my porch, unbelievable, anyone could have stolen it. Anyway, I opened it and they bricked it. Luckily I know 1 thing or two, so I managed to reinstall MacOS, and sold it privately. So unprofessional from Apple.

I should have read here before. Sent then a perfectly functioning macbook pro, worth £2700, they down valued to £30 because "data erasure not successful". I asked multiple times to explain to me what was wrong, nobody could. One customer service representative who claimed "to be dutch" so he will solve the issue, stayed with me 30 min over the phone to state as well it was ridiculous and unclear what was going on. Waited another week I had to send 3 emails, to have updates, and received another cold blooded predefined email without explanation to tell me either to accept £0 or have the item returned.
I hope they didn't break my laptop and trying to pin this on me otherwise I'll sue them.

Absolute Verarschung! Erst den Wert auf 1/3 reduziert und dann, nach meiner Ablehnung des reduzierten Eintauschwerts, behauptet das Handy sei noch gar nicht angekommen???!! Hotline Arien, emails und leere Versprechungen. Immer noch kein Handy zurück und auch kein Geld wiederbekommen...

Should have read here before. Same as everyone else- Apple should be disgusted with their lack of integrity here..quote for 250 trade in. Sent it to them in perfect condition for them to say it has a screen bleed and offer me £50ish

Well I wish I’d looked here before I agreed to send my iPhone X for trade in. If you’ve read the other reviews you know the drill, down value from £100 to zero for multiple cracks and missing camera lense. Did report to Apple yesterday so now have to wait a week for an update, really not what I’d expect from Apple and won’t use again

I had apple iphone 12 126gb for trade in to 14 pro max and had been value $425 by apple trade in website.I did as instruction then few week late they had send my phone 12 back no word in mean time They had withdraw full money from my bank acc for apple iphone 14 pro max.Now I m not wonder how apple company got money

I was told I could receive up to $100au for my iPhone8 but it got revised to $0 because of multiple cracks and a missing camera lens cover which I’m not sure of. As far a the rest of the phone it was immaculate not a mark in it and no cracks. It was sent in its original box and all. I’d say the trade in partners are a wast of time and a rip off. If I wasn’t a long term apple uses I would gladly buy another product for the slap in the face they gave me on my trade but when you have already got the new product they have you by the balls. Pathetic wast of time

If I could rate Apple's trade in service negative stars I would!! Sent my mother-in-laws iPad in for trade in, after several weeks of not hearing from them we called. When we called in we were told that we had incorrectly entered her email address. They corrected the email and said they would ask Apple to reissue the gift card. Again after several weeks we had to call them again at which time they told us they had issued the gift card to the incorrect email address and it had been redeemed the same day as the gift card was approved and issued. I have spent hours on the phone with Likewize and Apple to only be told there's nothing further they can do. I have also asked several times for copies of the emails to prove their claim only to be told they won't do that because breaches their trading standards!! NO PROOF, NO GIFT CARD, NO IPAD!!!

Unless your iPhone is in perfect condition, you are going to be quoted £60. Don't use. Go elsewhere. Apple are you listening???

You're better off selling your Apple Product elsewhere. I got offered 960 euros for a 16 inch M1 Pro 16Gb/1Tb 10cores/16cores that is at worst 6 months old, protected since day 1 with not a single scratch on it. I bought it for 2700 euros. I could sell it easily for 2000 euros anywhere else. Apple trade-in is a predatory program aimed at stupid and ignorant people, it has to be shamed into oblivion.

Asked for trade in price for year old M1iMac with 500gb HD. perfect condition. I wanted to swap for MacBook as I am travelling more. I was quoted £370! Apple is selling the same computer refurbished(?) with only 256gb for over £1200!

Avoid doing a trade in with Apple and this company they use. It would seem they devalue your item by saying it has a crack in a camera lense and that something doesn’t work which is absolute rubbish. My device was in perfect condition and should have had £185 trade in yet this company valued it to £0. If my device comes back to me in anyway damaged I will be making serious complaint to Apple. Avoid. This is a scam company

I sent my iPhone 12 to apple trade-in, and they replied that my phone was scratched and missing a lens. unfortunately, I never had an experience before like this. so they ask me to pay an extra £410 back as my phone they will recycle, as me by mistake put on them msg as accept. apple is the big scam I believe. very upset and disappointed

My sister just sent her iPad 3 to this company to have pictures sent back to her of obviously another iPad they have with scratches all over the face of the screen. And them devaluing the iPad obviously she rejected. Just hoping the same iPad she sent is returned in immaculate condition since she sent it well wrapped to them in the first place in an immaculate condition. We have proof of everything and the serial numbers so if we don’t receive the same iPad in the same condition, this will be going further. The company also block you straight after you reject their offer.

These guys are con artists and I really don't comprehend how Apple can be peddling their services ....has put me off apple products for life

As per recent reviews, total scam. Trade in value for my Son's iPhone XS that was immaculate (photos to prove) reduced from £120 to £0 apparently due to multiple cracks/missing camera lens. Apple need to investigate this company as they should be ashamed to be associated with them as a supplier partner. I will be contacting Apple to complain referencing the similar reviews on Trustpilot.
Update - After sending in photos, showing proof of condition before posting, Apple have investigated and have now confirmed payment of £120 as per agreed trade in value.

I used their return envelope (obviously over-sized) to mail my iphoneX for trade-in. Later they notified me saying that my iphoneX screen was not responsive. I sent it in perfect condition. They said they would reduce trade-in value from 130 to only 30. I will Never use their stupid trade-in program again!!!
