I am so frustrated by the clear dishonesty taking place at Apple’s trade in partner.
Sent in a pristine, complete original iPhone SE v3 in for trade in against an iPhone 17.
Had to chase up the trade in pack as it didn’t arrive. When it did arrive I sent the SE off immediately.
Was then offered a reduced price due to a ‘third party display’.
Tried phoning and was promised an investigation but almost immediately had a confirmation that they were adamant my screen had been replaced…
Absolute dishonesty. Unfortunately after years of buying apple products this will be my last.

Said £60 trade in for iPhone 12 mini. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Sent it off and get emailed to say that the camera didn’t work- I was taking photos right up until I sent it off. Apple offered £15. Told them to return it to me and I am going to get it checked by someone else and then go to the Apple Store to get it checked. Feel disgusted by their service.

I have a 27" iMac perfect working condition. They sent me trade in kits (box) and it had no place any return label. They sent me another trade in kit box and again no trade in label. They can't just give you link to get a return label. Agent #3 did get me a link to print a return label but later I found out it was for my new mini. I had printed the label and put it on the box. It took longer for them to receive it than 14 days even though mailed within 14 days. They sent it back. Started new trade in and yet another box arrived #3. No return label. Another 45 minutes on the phone (4th time) and they are unable to get me just a label. They have to send another trade in kit huge box. I said no. Forget it. The 4th box will not have a return label either - why can you not mail me one???? NO can't do it. These people are USELESS. I am going to donate the computer if they didn't ruin it shipping it back to me. Never ever do a trade in with apple.

Sent a trade via auspost using apples return barcode the iPhone trade in arrived on the 19th of June 2026 I received confirmation from Auspost.
On the 30th of June apple sent me an e-mail telling me the trade in was canceled due to the return not arriving.
I called the call centre to be told once a trade in is cancelled it cannot be returned. So even though I can prove delivery thy still will not honour the trade in. Better to sell it on the internet yourself than trust these crooks.

Don’t trade in if you expect money for your trade in as they only give you a gift card.

They offered me £290 trade in then sent a gift card.

Total rip off I will never use them again.

iPhone 14 Pro in ausgezeichnetem Zustand eingeschickt, nachweislich bei Likewize eingetroffen. Laut Likewize dort nicht erhalten. Auf zahlreiche Kontaktversuche über Mail und per Einschreiben antwortet Likewize nicht. Apple antwortet auf Einschreiben ebenfalls nicht. Apple Support lehnt jede Verantwortung ab.
Hätte das iPhone besser in den Müll gegeben. Dann würde ich mich jetzt nicht ärgern müssen.

Apple use a third party company for trade in which is fraud.I have send to them two devices and they find excuses for not paying the value that is agreed on the apple web site. I realise late that it is somehow a 'set up'.
Just stay away from them and bring your device straight to an Apple Store for inspection.

Trade-in kit took three weeks to arrive, then Apple lost the trade-in (while claiming it was being assessed), before returning the mac to me after two months. The box was clearly never opened, so they've been lying to me all the time. Will never use them or buy an Apple product again.

Not easy to use. Hard to navigate at first. Have to work it out how the return package goes and what to sign and what not to sign. No clear instructions at all and most outragedly, you need to call Startrack for a pick up courier service. Somebody has to be at the pick up location to hang the driver and the form to the driver. The time for pick up is not specific and it is anywhere in the morning or afternoon. Just not convenience at all and not good enough. Can't I just drop it off at the Post office.

How are these people still allowed to be in business given the experiences noted here is beyond me!
I wanted to trade in my Apple watch and apple website redirects me to them. The posting kit took ages to arrive. I posted the watch as soon as it finally came through. RoyalMail provided proof of delivery within 2 days. Likewize failed to register receipt and started sending me chaser emails reminding I needed to post it to them. After a number of emails, they then claimed the watch did not power up and reduced the quote to £0. I literally took the watch off my wrist before I posted it and it was working flawlessly. I.e., they are simply lying. I have now requested for them to return my watch which is currently taking more than a business week and I am starting to lose hope it will come at all…
going forward, I’ll deal with Apple directly in the store.

Same as others promise £95 for IPad Pro which was in full working order not a scratch on it. Then get a BS revised value of zero. So I have paid £95 more than I wanted for new IPad.
Don’t bother using. For a company that makes as much money as Apple this service is a joke.

Ich habe beim Erwerb einer neuen Apple Watch meine Series 6 über Trade In in Zahlung geben wollen. Mir wurde ein Betrag von 40 € avisiert. Aus Versehen schickte ich nicht nur den Korpus der Uhr weg, sondern die Uhr mit Uhrband. Daraufhin wurde ich mit der Begründung, dass das Uhrband nicht schließt, auf 0 € runtergesetzt. Meine darauf folgende Beschwerde über den Apple Support endete in einem "Buchbinder Wanninger Call" ohne Ergebnis.

Komme nochmal zurück auf meine negative Bewertungvom 14.10.25.
Nachdem mein Gerät -nicht qualifiziert- zurückkam, Kontakt mit Rebuy aufgenommen. Schätzung € 610.
Gerät am 14.11.25 kostenfrei eingeschickt, Montag dieser Woche das Angebot, da Gerät nicht mehr neu,
Reduzierung auf € 580. Einverstanden ? Ja, prompte Antwort. Sofortige Gutschrift erfolgt auf das vorab genannte Konto. So geht Service. Nie mehr Apple Trade In !!!

I returned my 8 yr old Apple iPad Pro for part exchange against a new iPad Pro. It was in perfect operating and cosmetic condition. The estimated px value was £95. A few days later I received an e mail from Apples’ agent handling the px to say that the returned unit px value had been revised to zero because unit had “LCD display burn in damage/streaks/discolouration across the screen, incorrect product description or serial number”. I cancelled the return and asked for it to be sent back to me. It came back today and it was in perfect condition operationally and cosmetically. I can only conclude that the remote px scheme is simply an Apple scam to secure the sale of the new unit.

Aanmeld bod 80 euro, na hun "expertise " tegenbod van 10 euro😡 belachelijk, scherm zou kapot zijn flinke beschadigingen aan cover. Bod niet geaccepteerd, zij sturen het terug, dat dan weer wel.

Ich habe mir eine neue iWatch gekauft und meine alte als Altgerät angegeben. Apple Wertermittlung 25€ weil sie zwar technisch und völlig in Ordnung ist, jedoch schon ein gewisses Alter erreicht hat. Ich dachte die 25€ sind wahrscheinlich der reine Materialwert der Uhr. Ca. eine Woche später erhielt ich eine Nachricht. Neuer Wert deiner Uhr wurde ermittelt. 0,00€ Grund: die Uhr (Armband)lässt sich nicht schließen. Ich habe storniert und nach einer weiteren Woche hatte ich die Uhr wieder. Natürlich war das Armband unbeschädigt und hat auch funktioniert.
Achtung!!! Hier werden die Kunden betrogen!
Ich denke die meisten belassen es bei der neuen Einschätzung und stornieren nicht weil ihr Gerät ja angeblich nichts mehr wert ist.
Mir ist es ja nur aufgefallen weil die Angaben definitiv Falsch waren.

Ich habe mein iPhone 16 Pro Max zum ersten Mal beim Apple Trade In Programm abgegeben. Es war in einem Top-Zustand, bestätigt durch Apples Partner (Wert: 906,00 €)! Nach Abbruch des Trade-In erhielt ich das Gerät mit ZWEI KRATZERN auf dem Display zurück – UNERTRÄGLICH! Trotz MEHRERER telefonischer und schriftlicher Kontaktaufnahmen mit Apple: KEINE HILFE! Ständiges Weiterverbinden, KEINE LÖSUNG! SÄMTLICHE Beweise vorgelegt, aber Apple IGNORIERT mein Anliegen! Ich bin MASSLOS enttäuscht von Apple und werde SOFORT keine Apple-Produkte mehr kaufen! Der Fall ist DRINGEND an die Verbraucherzentrale weitergeleitet worden!

Ich habe mein IPhone 15 Pro Max komplett neuwertiger Zustand zum Trade In eingereicht und leider eine Stornierung erhalten, da das Handy angeblich den Anforderung nicht entspricht.
3 Wochen später habe ich immer noch keine Sendungsnummer erhalten und auch nicht das Handy. Bei Apple kann angeblich niemand helfen und man wird immer zu wen anderes weitergeleitet.
Wenn man diesen Service anbietet, dann sollte man auch den Kunden bei so einen Fall helfen können! Eine Unverschämtheit. Wird jetzt alles unseren Anwalt weitergeleitet.

They swapped the phone housing and returned a damaged phone. I sent in iPhone for trade in and was told it wasn't in condition as described. The housing of the phone sent in was in perfect condition bar one tiny inconsequential mark. I asked for the phone to be returned because the price they offered was not acceptable. The housing on the phone they returned was not the same as the one I sent in. Logic board etc (internals) were the same but the returned phone had extensive damage, a cracked camera lens, scratches on the screen and wear and tear damage from most likely a non apple phone case. I believe the chassis had been swapped with a phone in poorer condition. Most importantly the one small mark that was on my phone was absent from the returned phone. Apple tried to say it was impossible to swap the housing but having checked with previous apple repair technicians, they say it is not. Trusting apple and never having had this issue before, I didnt have photos of my phone and I'm now having to go through a process of trying to prove that what they returned was not what was sent by me. My theory is a staff member in the trade-in/repairs centre (usually the same place I'm told) decided to replace their own damaged housing with my perfect housing but I have no way of proving this and I am a disable woman up against a giant corporation who hold all the power. The support staff have been very polite and as helpful as they can be but the system they work within is not designed for this particular scenario and I suspect I will end up the victim, losing out on the money for the traded-in phone having to pay off my prior finance deal now myself as well as the new finance deal for my new phone. I am left out of pocket and struggling because of a staff members dishonesty.
