Man kann wirklich nur davor warnen! Leider habe auch ich mich sicher gefühlt, über den offiziellen Trade-In-Service von Apple mein ausgedientes, jedoch noch vollfunktionsfähiges iPhone 12Pro einzutauschen. Schätzwert waren 360,00 €. Innerhalb weniger Tage war auch die angeforderte Verpackung von likewize bei mir eingetroffen. Also habe ich das iPhone gemäß den Vorgaben verpackt und verschickt. Eigentlich habe ich nur noch auf die Zahlung gewartet. Doch daraus wurde nix. Ich erhielt eine Mail in der die Werteinschätzung auf 0€ korrigiert wurde, weil angeblich die Tasten nicht funktionieren. Wie bitte?? Alles, hat vor dem Versenden funktioniert. Ich hatte das iPhone erst kurz vorm Versenden auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt. Aber natürlich wollte likewize das iPhone trotzdem ortnungsgemäß verwerten.
Sicherlich nicht - ich habe das Gerät zurückgefordert und zum Glück auch wieder erhalten! Und siehe da - es funktioniert noch immer einwandfrei. Nicht eine der Tasten klemmt oder hat auch nur ansatzweise einen Fehler!
Hier wird Abzocke im großen Stil und das auch noch unter dem Dach von Apple betrieben. Einfach nur abartig!

Went into the Apple Store who checked my IPhone 11 in detail and came back stating it was worth £150 but when I posted to their trade in partner the value was reviewed to £45 avoid at all costs this is a Scam

I must confess that I was holding my breath when I posted my trade in and then read all these bad reviews. However, the trade in went smoothly and I received the agreed amount for my 14 pro max. The amount received was no worse or better that most of the other firms that buy phones had offered.

I am utterly appalled by Apple and their despicable trade-in partner (who conveniently remains nameless). I can't fathom why they can't disclose their accomplice's identity. Regrettably, I failed to heed the warnings buried within these reviews before succumbing to the allure of their trade-in scheme. My phone, a pristine iPhone 12 Pro Max, encased in a protective Mous shield since its first day of use, was flawless. I meticulously documented its immaculate condition with photos and videos before shipping it off. To my horror, when I checked the trade-in status after dispatching the device last week, the initial trade-in value of £375 had plummeted to a shocking £0.00.

Beware and steer clear of Apple's trade-in service; I genuinely can't fathom why they can't offer this service in-store at the time of purchase. The partners they've chosen for this nefarious endeavour are nothing short of criminals. Never in my wildest dreams did I anticipate Apple stooping to such appalling lows. I implore you, please, for your own sanity, avoid this service like the plague. Document every inch of your device with photos and videos, and raise hell with trading standards. This is nothing short of a criminal act, plain and simple!

Vorsicht !!!!. Ich habe mir ein neues iPhone zugelegt und wollte das alte iPhone X eintauschen. Die geschätzte Rückerstattung sollte 110.-€ sein. Die Verpackung kam an, dass Handy wurde von mir verpackt und per UPS an Schenker High Tech Log. ( Niederlande ) verschickt.
Einige Tage kam dann eine Mail...Geänderte Rückerstattung für Eintausch 25.-€. Grund Display funktioniert nicht/reagiert nicht auf Berührung. Habe den Eintausch dann sofort storniert und das Handy wurde mir zurück geschickt. Es ist Gott sei Dank angekommen. Habe es eingeschaltet und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich werde es jetzt über e-bay
verkaufen. Ich werde nie mehr ein Handy eintauschen.

Sent an old but perfect condition iPhone XS to receive a £120 trade in. This was less than similar phones were going for on ebay but I thought this an easier route. After assessing the phone they revised my trade in value to £30 stating damage to the lens (Which I didn't recall). I requested the return of the phone and when it arrived back it was in a state. The screen was badly scratched all over and as stated the camera lens was badly scratched. I can only think my phone was used for parts and then retuned.

Not really sure what to do now as I have zero evidence that my phone was not in this condition when I sent it. Needless to say I'll never use this service again.

Trade in estimate was £150 and then got offered £45.

Estimate value of $960 for iPhone 13 Pro Max. Receive and email telling me that my trade in has been cancelled because it didn’t arrive on time however I sent my phone literally 2 days after receiving my new one. It was delivered within a week and marked as received. Spoke on the phone to apple on Friday who said I’d need to call back on Monday, so I did. For them to tell me I had nothing to worry about and they had received my phone and i would shortly receive an email with the value assessed at. LOL today I have received an informing me they are sending my iPhone to the address noted on the invoice of my purchase… NOT MY RECENTLY UPDATED ADDRESS IN BILLING INFORMATION. Not only am I not receiving my trade in value I am now also not receiving my old phone as it’s being sent to my old address… 😁😁😁😁 So I’ve basically spent $3k on a new phone. Absolutely outrageous. Thanks for nothing Apple

OMG I traded a iPhone XR in expecting £140 revised offer £110 got the email in small print said ZERO.
I immediately phoned up but said it was too late lost the phone.
I demand phone back as was in very good condition they disagreed and sent pictures of a absolutely destroyed phone and said that was condition it arrived CON MEN

Offered up to £275 then get a revised offer 3 weeks after they receive phone offering £60 for wrong phone or serial number. How can this be, the details came from my Apple account… very poor service with Apple’s name attached. Avoid at all cost

I have just traded in an iPad with a trade in value of £115. It was in pristine condition having no marks, scratches whatsoever.
I received an email from Apple saying the value had been revised due to cracks and scratches on the non viewing area.
I spoke to a consultant at Apple who said my complaint would go to their escalation team……I had a repeat reply saying trade in value now nil.
I have just received my iPad back from them……in the pristine condition and excellent working order that I sent it to them in.
Their trade in service is obviously fraudulent and not worth using

Offered £430 for my old iPhone on purchase of a new one. First trade in pack didn’t arrive. Contacted Apple second pack sent out. This didn’t arrive.
Contacted Apple again to be told that both will be delivered today. One a week late the other 2 weeks late.
But advisor said that it probably won’t arrive.
No explanation.
Now getting emails from Apple telling me my trade in is late and I could lose out.

UPDATE: my old iPhone arrived and the trade-in was successful. I received the full amount for an XR, which is £130.00. I’d say the process to send the device for trade-in needs to be better explained in Apple’s instructions.

I wish I’d read these reviews before I sent my old iPhone to be traded in. I used the box provided and the address label and Apple are saying they’ve not received my device. I sent my old device using a post box. There were no instructions to get a receipt or take a photo of the address. I trusted Apple and the Post Office to send my device to the right address.

Same experience - offered £215 for an iPhone. Absolutely pristine. Revised to zero. I only went with apple trade in because I thought I could trust apple. Avoid

As with other respondents' experiences, a fully functioning device was sent back, assessed as unresponsive, and assigned a trade in value of £0. When challenges on the reasons for the valuation, company responses were inconsistent, and failed to offer any reasonable explanation.

Avoid and find an alternative trade in platform!

I am so disappointed with Apple😪trade in my iPhone 12. No scratch whatsoever on the phone. I just got an email that my trade-in is successful after which I got debited again. Called them and I was told the part of the phone has been replaced and the new trade-in was evaluated to ZERO reason it has been sent for recycling 😳😳 are you for real? No email to explain why the trade-in didn't go as planned. The guy I spoke with told me he had sent a mail to cancel the recycling process and after calling back this morning I was told the phone has been recycled and there is nothing you can do about it. @apple.com you have to see to this and get me my device back😭😭

Just returned Mac Book pro all in perfect working order as have upgraded for university and has been returned as unresponsive and not able to turn on.....utter rubbish as this was being used daily up until the trade in.....AVOID AT ALL COSTS

At first was skeptical about this due to all the bad reviews but my experience was seamless I was honest with the questions and got the full value for my IPhone 14 pro max and shipped on Monday and trade in complete Thursday quick and painless I’d deffo recommend it.

Quite frankly it’s a scam they offered £305 for my Mac Book Air and then I received a £0 offer then make it almost impossible to get your product back appalling
