Awful LIKEWIZE are beyond a joke. Why have Apple contracted with this shambolic organisation?
There is no zero stars, otherwise they would get that.
Communication appalling, customer service appalling, speed appalling. When I asked them why they are chasing me when they received my computer several days before and they had signed for it, they asked ME for the receiving details so they could check with their own warehouse? I don’t work in your warehouse LIKEWIZE do your job! 9 days on, still waiting.

I was offered £110 trade-in for a £1,200 iPad when I decided to upgrade via Apple, the offer was reduced to £25 because of a screen issue I'd certainly never seen before and when I rejected the offer I was told it would be returned. I've queried this recently as no iPad arrived back and I received a photo of someone else's front door, a strangers leg and 1 slipper and the only help I've been offered so far is a screenshot to say that the couriers GPS was close to my house when he delivered and advise that if I try knocking on doors I might be able to identify the house, the leg or the slipper of the alleged thief. No communication to say item had been shipped back, no tracking information or notification of failed delivery or alternative delivery address and no sense that anyone cares I've now got no money and no iPad either... BEWARE!

Do not use this service, absolute rip off. poor on Apple to promote this company, will never use sgain

**Update** A week after Apple HQ received my first letter informing them of a breach of contract, £250 was transferred into my bank, I shouldn't have to threaten them to get back was rightfully mine in the first place !

Like so many of the reviews on here regarding this filthy slimy excuse for a company ! I really wish I had seen their frankly embarrassing score on here, I would never have considered using them. My 11 year old son recently tried to Trade In his old phone against a new device, original estimate was £250, revised £0, obviously we rejected the deal online and called in person to reject and confirm, I mean who in the right mind is going to gift a scum bag outfit like Apple a second hand phone for free ?, they shouldn't even have to ask it should be shipped back once the Trade in is revised to £0... end of !! So this lying cheating greedy organisation decided in their wisdom to conveniently say that we ACCEPTED the deal & informed us by email that they had now Recycled the phone for free !, so basically it's legalised theft in their world anyway, well I am afraid they have picked on the wrong mug this time, as I have previous for taking on these Corporate Gangsters running rackets such as this. All the other people who have been wronged should also grow a back bone and hold them accountable, and expose their illegal business practices !, they are accountable to their customers by the way, you just have to have the staying power to see it through, so contact Citizens Advice & follow their instructions, ultimately it will end up at a small claims court and these ar$eholes wont have the bottle to turn up and try to defend the indefensible and will wimp out and pay up before the court date as they are nothing but a corrupt, bent, lying, greedy organisation, don't think the little man doesn't have a voice, use the law to make them accountable, the more people who do this the better as they will be forced to change their unethical procedures by Trading Standards if there are countless complaints. I wish I could give zero stars. Company received my parcel and then lost my Apple Watch that I sent in using the Apple trade in service. They did absolutely nothing to help me, wouldn’t take accountability and told me it was my fault as I’d sent in two products in the same box. I was given an Apple gift card for one of the items but they insisted they didn’t receive the other item, in the same box. This was an unbelievably negative experience, and the customer service were so unhelpful. I had to write off £135 due to their incompetence. Avoid at all costs. Do not use the Apple trade in service. Sell elsewhere.

Total scam. Traded in a MacBook Pro for a new MacBook from gift card at Xmas. Offered $1100 for trade in. Old MacBook was in "as new" condition as it was always protected both on the outside and the screen. The said some keys did not work, screen had white spots, and the touch pad didn't work. All of this was demonstrably false. In fact, I had just replaced the battery. Absolute racket and Apple should be embarrassed for their brand. Rejected the offer of $0 and asked for it to be returned. I'll keep it as an extra computer in the office instead.

Having read various reviews I was unsure whether to do this. I traded my iPhone 11 Pro Max for a new iPhone. I made sure to take images/video of its condition (just in case) and added some additional bubblewrap around the device before placing it in the kit they sent. The kit is not particularly convincing in terms of protection. Sent it in via my local post office and 3 days later received confirmation that it was received and in the condition I advised so the trade in was confirmed. Happy Days - but make sure you add a little extra protection to the device before you post it - just in case. Don't add too much though - otherwise you won't be able to shut the package properly.

Habe Trade in zum ersten Mal genutzt. iPhone 15 Pro gekauft und 11 Pro in Zahlung gegeben. Alles verlief so wie es von Apple kommuniziert wurde. Vollen Betrag fürs alte Phone bekommen. Würde diese Methode weiterempfehlen.

Nachdem beim ersten Mal alles bestens geklappt hat, habe ich ein iPhone 12 wieder bei Apple TradeIn in Zahlung gegeben und sollte hierfür 280 € erhalten. Nur einen Tag nachdem das Gerät in den Niederlanden ankam erhielt ich die Nachricht, dass der Wert auf 0 € gesetzt wurde, da eine Löschung der Daten nicht möglich wäre. Dabei habe ich vorschriftsmäßig alle Daten gelöscht und auf Werkeinstellung zurückgesetzt. Mehrere Tage habe ich dann versucht, das Angebot abzulehnen, damit das Gerät an mich zurückgeschickt würde. Alle Versuche schlugen fehl. Bei einem Anruf beim Support wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das Gerät bereits an mich verschickt sei. Nur zwei Stunden später erhielt ich aber eine Mail, dass ich das Angebot angenommen hätte und das iPhone recycelt würde. Bei einem erneuten Anruf beim Support wurde mir gesagt, dass ich sofort auf diese Mail antworten sollte und klarstellen, dass ich das Angebot abgelehnt hätte. Einen Tag später bekam ich einen Anruf aus Irland, dass mein Gerät bereits recycelt wäre und der Fall sich somit erledigt hätte.
Ich kann daher nur dringend davon abraten, ein iPhone über Apple TradeIn zu verkaufen.

I have to say, I was really skeptical and anxious on trading in my old 64GB iPad Air 4 (quoted for £205 by Apple) after reading the reviews here and other discussion forums elsewhere. However, I made sure to fully video record the conditions of my old iPad as well added in additional wrapping in the trade-in kit that they sent (the kit alone was not particularly convincing in terms of protection tbh) before sending it in via my local post office. Fingers were crossed, and fortunately I received the full £205 in my bank account 8 days after sending it in. However if you're thinking of trading in your old device, I would suggest doing it directly in an Apple Store to spare yourself the anxiety!

Apple Trade Terrible Experience
I bought a new iPad Air from the Apple website and offered up my previous tablet for trade in. I was given an estimate value of £85 ( which is pretty low I think ) for my iPad pro which genuinely looks brand new, it has always been in a case, there isn't a scratch or blemish anywhere on it. I was contacted by the Apple agent yesterday acknowledging receipt of my iPad confirmed the original offer price of £85 then to my shock a revised price of £0.00 ???? due to white spots on the screen. They then had the nerve to cheerily ask if I would like to confirm and complete the trade. I have rejected the offer, what a scam. There were no white spots on my screen probably just lint. Clearly Apple / agent is incentivised to try and knock all trade in offers down, disgusting behavior, horrible experience, avoid like the plague, shame on you Apple. --UPDATE-- my tablet was returned a couple of days later and it is now badly scratched in 2 separate areas like someone has scribbled on it with a small screwdriver. The scratches weren't there when I sent it away, they could only have happened at apple trade in platform who aren't contactable for comment, the listed website doesn't even work/exist when you click on it . NEVER USE APPLE TRADE IN, sell privately or use a tech exchange shop, you will get 30% to 50% more without all the stress of dealing with a dishonest Apple trade in platform.

Absolute scam. Traded my iPhone 13 Pro Max which was in perfect condition. Was offered £480 trade in. They’ve reviewed it saying that Face ID doesn’t work (which it definitely did) and they’ve knocked £360 off it. They’ve clearly got a company profiting from this. Tried to reject the offer on Apple’s website which conveniently pops up with a “Something went wrong” every single time. I will absolutely be contacting the team at Rip Off Britain given the other reviews on this site and contacting trading standards

Ich kann nur jedem abraten. Einkaufswert für iPhone 11 Pro, voll funktionsfähig, für 155 CHF eingeschickt. Angebot war nach Prüfung wegen angeblicher eingebrannter Schäden auf dem Display nur 45 CHF. Ganz sicher nicht! Absolute Zeitverschwendung, ganz schlechter Witz.

Avoid using this company at all costs, read the reviews, you just need to click on the one stars. I sent a brand new phone that there was absolutely nothing wrong with had just been taken out the box to send them. They claimed it woudn't switch on despite it passing every other check. I rejected their £0 offer immediately and asked to have my phone returned. Received this message I have requested your device be returned to you. This will be delivered free of charge via DPD and you should receive it in 3-5 working days. If you use the DPD app the delivery details will be on there once it has been shipped
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Do you think I have a tracking number, do you think my phone has been returned. No absolutely not. Do not use this company, tell everyone you know who is thinking of doing a trade in and tell them to go into a real apple store. Why Apple have affiliated themselves to such a devious company is beyond me.

I traded in my iPhone 11 Pro and was offered £200 and that’s exactly what I received. Mind you I did put a screen saver and cover on from the box so would have been disappointed otherwise. So if you looked after your phone you might get what they quote regardless of the bad reviews.

Was offered £325.00 for my iPhone 12pro 264mb what I paid £1,100.99 for them to send you a email for you to ACCEPT then apple trade in said I’ve accepted that I wanted it recycled when ISN’T THE CASE I went threw Barclays finance for the iPhone 15pro reason for trade in and they said they couldn't help they are all linked in some way all for money when you speak to the trade in Apple team they are foreign they cut you off the phone basically laugh at you also pretend they can’t hear you I’ve also been in store regarding the matter say they can’t doo anything as it’s all online when it’s the same company APPLE ITS A SCAM!! Apple is seriously going down hill I can’t even send this iPhone 15pro what I’ve paid 1,328.00 pounds for with insurance because it’s gone past 14days cool off period I also traded my old phone in so I’d be left with no phone!!!!

Decided to try apples trade in for the first time but was very sceptical looking at these reviews, however it was text book perfect, when ordering my new iPhone 15 pro max I used the trade in tool on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and offered a decent price, trade in pack arrived a few days after my new phone so packed up and got proof of postage from my local post office.
Got an email 48 hours later saying everything checked ok & my refund would be processed with 5 working days, but just 48 hours later it was in my account.
So my experience was perfect and will definitely use this service again when purchasing apple products,

I could of sold my IPhone XR for £120 on eBay but trusted Apple and got scammed by their trade in partner who originally offered me £130 then revised it to £45 saying there was screen burn
Complete rubbish very disappointed with apple asked for my phone to be returned

I did a trade in through EE and after no monies forthcoming I decided to chase them. To begin with I was told they haven’t received it & therefore no payment would be issued. Then once I told them they had even messaged me to say it had been received all of a sudden they backtracked & it had been received but that it is in an unknown location and therefore no money will be issued?!. Basically they lose your phone and somehow think that they don’t need to pay until it’s found?!. Absolute scammers
