I put in an order for 48 cans of La Croix fizzy drinks yesterday morning. They arrived safe and sound at noon today. A very fast and efficient service.

American Grocer is unethical and cheater.
I ordered a large bottle salad dressing which should last for a very long time (when new), instead they sent me one that’s about to expire (2mth). When I complained about it, they requested I send the item back at my own expense, and when they receive it, they will only refund the item cost, not the original shipping cost which was quite high, and won’t pay for the return cost.

In response to the supplier’s reply, for a large bottle of salad dressing, of typical shelf life of 2 years, having only 2 month before expiry is cheating, especially when you don’t include expiry date on product description. I have returned the bottle on 2nd class Royal Mail as specified on email by the supplier, yet no refund was issued.

Ordered on Tuesday, it arrived Wednesday. Some great items, especially the Spanish honey 👍 I ordered some discounted products that are past the best before, however this was clear on the website, and they are perfectly safe to consume. The only negative comment I have, is that the sauce I ordered wasn't protected and the cap split, spilling a small amount into the box. I will definitely order from here again.

Ordered sweets from Americangrocer.co.uk Payment taken. Sweets never dispatched according to Royal Mail parcel tracker. Does not reply to ANY emails about missing item and no refund. Does not deal with any phone call queries. Numerous attempts to contact Americangrocer have been made.

After seeing people's comments about their negative experience with this store, I was hesitant to make my first order, however I finally take a risk and did it. The package has arrived nicely. I had a positive experience

order a lot of stuff off of here and they arrived quickly and everything seemed fine. however some of the stuff i bought was stale. when i tried to contact the seller they didn’t respond for over a month, when i finally did get a hold of them they said they’d refund me for the items but only refunded me for one item. i tried emailing them back and still haven’t heard from them.

After reading these reviews, I was skeptical, but I’d gone ahead and placed an order anyway. The experience can’t be faulted. The shipment was received quickly a day and a half later. The order was correct and everything as expected. Perhaps I was lucky, but given this experience I’d order again.

I'm yet another person who has to report that this company doesn't answer emails and doesn't rectify mistakes. Wrong cereal delivered, not the one I ordered. No reply to email. There's no point in shopping here unless you want to play "mystery parcel" with them. There's other companies that import American food -- use them instead.

Avoid at all costs. Delivered parcel to the wrong address and never reply to any emails.

I order from American Grocer very regularly. Their selections of food from the States is wonderful. Many my favorites from back home. Great prices and a terrific sale on short dated items. I've started to order goodies for Thanksgiving.
My last three orders were delivered the very next day!! Packaged very well.
Highly recommend them.

American Grocers' King Soopers goes into your bank account 2 days after you have shopped, paid for and placed your order and takes money for prices that have changed.
Make sure to screen record.
Make sure not to place any orders on Tuesdays.
Also, they do not return money for items that they don't deliver.
When they drop everything down the stairs and it breaks, they still deliver it and then their app won't let you return it
and it does take hours on the phone with them,
and nothing is solved.

You'll need to go into the store a lot to try and return things, after trying to get help with customer service.

I had been letting problems go for a long time because I didn't have time and I didn't know the extent of what they were doing, and one time when they were already 8 hours late but telling me that they were still going to come, they never came and then the next day, when they were supposed to come they canceled my order. I placed a new one and they canceled that.

I called in and spoke with a manager regarding what happened and since then (which has been almost a month), they have been leaving major items out of my order, placing my half of my items at a neighbor's door, dropping refrigerated items down the stairs and then delivering them, and not letting me return these items.
I have a clear sign on my door just for King soopers, asking them to place my items in front of my door and to please remember to knock so that I can accept or not accept any substituted items.

Instead, this is what happens if you want your groceries in time for your event (you'll never have them in time for your event):
You will have to bring the expired, damaged (or missing items) and proof of extra charges all the way back to a store and wait through a half an hour line, after trying to talk with them on the phone about it, after trying to deal with it on the app.
None of it works.
This is not worth your time at all...let alone your money.
But I really need to impress upon people the amount of time it takes to try to follow up on problems ...and the amount of problems are incredible.
I am not being paid for all of this time! They are.

I use to buy from this store but sadly the Customer Service has become 0. Contacted them like 6 e-mails and got 0 replies. Rude and unpolite. Avoid this store please!

I wanted to order a few much loved products that I had in the USA. Ordering was easy and the next day delivery was great. On checking the order found that items were missing and contacted American Grocer via email. Their customer services was excellent and apologetic for the problem. They were straight on it with a refund for the missing items. All in all can say that I had a really great buying experience with AG and will buy from them again.

Bought cans of 'easy cheese' x 4, not marked as clearance, receive January 19th 2024,best before date Nov 2023 ...I wouldn't trust this company again ...
Contacted and reply was curt and saying marked as 'clearance items' ... they were not

Such an efficient service which is rare. Ordered one day and received the next. It's also good to be able to get items from USA without huge delivery costs. Thank you.

First time ordering with this company and I’m very impressed with the service! Ordered at 1pm on Monday and it arrived at 11am on Tuesday, extremely well packaged so no damage to products. Will be a returning customer!

One of my items was out of stock so they sent me the larger version instead, great service.
Highly recommend the Mt Olive products especially those hot banana peppers!

As an American in the U.K. I was soooooo excited to try these out! I didn’t even really mind the exorbitant prices! Then I received my order. I knowingly purchased some recently out of date items, which were discounted, but desperate to have a well-needed chex fix, I did not mind. What I kind of minded was the full priced near out of date items -which was most of them-…but what REALLY irritates me is that 3 out of the 4 canned items ordered were severely dented. If they had all been dented in similar way, or if the box had been damaged, I may’ve been a little more understanding, but they weren’t. I have messaged their “customer service” twice now asking that they -at the very least- exchange, as I really (obviously) want these items. But both of my emails have gone unanswered. So, screw them I say! They suck! And for a couple extra pounds, you can just order most of the stuff off Amazon.
I wanted to support them, but it’s just not worth it.
