Bought two jars of Smucker's goober grape peanut butter for £12.98 and both jars went out of date on 7th June 2025, so it's nearly a year out of date! I would upload the photos if it would let me, I contacted them and sent pictures only to be told it's June this year that it's clear in the pictures, you can clearly see it says 2025! Don't buy unless you want out of date produce!! I've reported this scam company to trading standards

I've been a customer of theirs for years and I can honestly say that the goods I receive are great and are always well-packaged. The time it takes to receive my orders is super-quick! For the one-time I had to use customer service, communication was paramount and the issue was resolved in lightning-fast speed. I cannot praise this business and their employees high enough. Thank you! :)

My experience with American Grocer was great! Fast service, accurate fulfillment and order arrived very well packed and thus in completely perfec5 condition. Would happily and confidently order from again.

Placed an order for numerous items. DPD made no attempt to deliver my parcel and returned it to American Grocer. I contacted American Grocer and was replied to promptly by Neel. He was most apologetic and offered to either send the parcel straight back to me or refund. I chose to have the order sent back to me. After a few days, Neel emailed me to advise my order has been received back and he had organised to have it delivered to me the next day. The order arrived the next day as promised. Cannot fault Neel for his level of professionalism and communication. All goods purchased are as expected. Thank you American Grocer and Neel for taking care of my order. Look forward to ordering again soon

With this particular order, delivery company, DPD, did not notify of delivery by email, text, knocking, door bell, leaving package in rain front of house where it was broken into by unknown. Item was stolen and items in package were rain damaged. AG responded immediately with perfect resolutions inc,using contacting DPD about their poor performance. They also kept me informed of each step. Such excellent customer service keeps me a loyal shopper there.

I recently placed an order and was thoroughly impressed. The products are fantastic, and the packaging was excellent. The dispatch and delivery were incredibly swift, taking less than 36 hours. 🤩 I’ll certainly be ordering again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to others.

they are bad, taken me off amazon list and not given me an reason, was left with 700 bags of salt, they are so unhelpful and they dont even answer you back

The website is easy to navigate, the product ranges change frequently keeping it interesting. Items arrive very quickly, packed in a study box and glass jars of pickles in lots of bubble wrap.

Love this store. We used to live in the US. Our kids grew up there and we can find so many of the tastes and flavours that they loved -and still do. Goldfish, Milano cookies, biscuit mix...and now Snickerdoodle mix. The kids are now in their 30s but love coming home to Thanksgiving.
The service - order placing and deliver - is brilliant. Most items have arrived within a day or two of ordering. Great service and the products are exactly what we like. Can't recommend highly enough.

Although stock will naturally vary, there is an excellent range. Have used the site many times with much pleasure. Most recent shop, there was a problem with order, but when I contacted them, this was sorted out thoughtfully and to my total satisfaction.

Bought popcorn for £3.99 each (12 bags) money was taken order confirmed, next working day I get a refund as price changed to £7.99 and the shop choose not to honor the order. No communication, no email with an explanation, literary the only information I received was from PayPal regarding a refund. Will not use this store again as that is as unprofessional as it gets.

In a haze of jet lag, I placed a large order in error. The team picked up my SOS email immediately and corrected the issue without any fuss or problems. Speedy responses, friendly customer service, and overall a very reassuring experience. Although this order was an accident, i know i can order with confidence next time!
