Alivecor doesn't provide satisfactory customer service. Numerous times over many months they failed to establish data transmission of my readings to the doctor's office. They repeatedly assured me that they understood my issues and that the connection failure would be resolved. What was stated, though, proved to be lipservice. Following an attempt to seek BBB advocacy, Alivecor instead, simply canceled my subscription with no apparent attempt to correct the issue. This experience with AliveCor been very disappointing and provided no meaningful benefits to my healthcare or wellbeing. DON'T BUY OR TRUST KARDIA AND ALIVECOR!

Following major abdominal surgery I started noticing heart palpitations and a feeling of my heart lurching. My fitbit showed my heart was racing at 150-160bpm. The practice nurse advised me to get a kardia mobile as they are approved by Nice for detecting afib and the ECGs can be emailed which is easier than trying to capture an ECG at the GP practice when it is actually happening. The Kardia Mobile picked up both "Possible Atrial Fibrillation" and "Unclassified", as well as mainly "Normal Sinus Rhythm". I sent off one of each of the abnormal readings for clinical review and they came back confirming Atrial Fibrillation and Atrial Tachycardia. This tallies with the diagnosis I subsequently received from a cardiologist after wearing a 24hr ECG monitor. Although the cardiologist also detected Atrial Flutter, but I have only sent off 2 Kardia Mobile ECGs for review. I find it very useful when my heart starts pounding to be able to confirm what is going on with the Kardia Mobile. My fitbit does not pick up any of the Afib episodes although it shows me my heart is racing. Great device for helping me detect what was going on and great service from the clinicians in getting a quick analysis.

Ho acquistato il prodotto in una sanitaria , praticamente ha funzionato un mese , poi lo riportato dove lo acquistato , l’hanno mandato nelle ditta , è stato via 6 mesi , me lo hanno ridato , ha funzionato 3 volte , e poi stop , lo riportato sempre dove lo comprato , e l’hanno rimandato in ditta , ma possibile che un prodotto possa non funzionare e x ben due volte si blocca , è allucinante .

I returned the 6L device, cancelled my subscription (I thought) and never heard from them again, until recently. Turns out I've paying for 2 years and 3 months - I sent the proof of the return and refund and they gave me 3 months refund.
Very poor, given they can easily check when I last logged in and used the service.
Obvs they make it difficult to cancel, and we now know why.

It arrived ok, the instructions were very vague and clearly written by somebody who new exactly how it worked, which means a lot of details on set up were skipped over without a clear order of instructions.
My first problem was that AliveCor 6L would not give me a download of the App so I could register, they said get it off the Play Store, when I tried the PS refused me a download saying I already had two devices registered with them.
After a couple of days I located a Kardia 6L setup download from an independent site which worked and I registered, my first ECG reading failed for half a day because the instructions were so vague, I selected the 6L setting because that was what I bought and it failed because the 2 finger pad only works on Kardia 6 not the L version which needs a third contact on the back of the sensor.
The graph it produced was unreadable on my phone so I downloaded it to a pdf which was also hardly readable on the phone, I did notice that there was no calibration on the graph of blood pressure or time so the graph was meaningless.
So far Its a waste of money and time and I'll stick with the simple wrist monitors which are more reliable and easy to use.

Ich habe bei AliveCore das KardiaMobile 6L geordert. Beim Konfigurieren der entsprechenden App muss ich bedingungslos akzeptieren, dass alle meine persönlichen Daten kostenlos nach Amerika übersandt werden und ich mit mit einem Jahresbeitrag von 99 Euro den von mir nicht gewollten Service von AliveCore in Anspruch nehmen kann. Von diesen Bedingungen war beim Kauf der Hardware nicht die Rede. Eine Rücksendung scheint auch nicht möglich, weil ich von AliveCore trotz mehrfacher Anforderung bisher keinen Rücksendeschein bekommen habe.

I brought a KardiaMobile 6L from AliveCor.
If you connect the KardiaMobile 6L to your (Dustbin). It may work, you could try connecting It inside of your trash bin, it will work.
In other words AliveCor sent me a second hand rubbish contraption device, which broke down after one attempt. It is a rip off device, it needs to go to the trash tip.
AliveCor, will not give me a refund neither for the Kardia care.
The device is a con.

I have had two of these. The first had a faulty electrode, which they kindly replaced. The second I had for 3years and the battery needed replacing. This is where the issue came. I replaced it and now it doesn’t work at all.
The concept is great, but the quality and build are poor. I completed all the steps to reboot it. I contacted customer service for help. They simply said you are out of warranty. Nothing else. No discounted offer to replace like other companies do.
I am so disappointed. Be prepared unfortunately to spend the money for a one off product which when fails, will mean you are required to purchase a brand new product all over again. It seems wrong when they have such a product designed to help people?
I would sadly not recommend this.

Purchased a product that was not fit for purpose and the returns protocol is absolutely diabolical. They just do not reply to emails, have no returns address and are impossible to contact by phone.
Avoid at all cost.

My device was only used little and kept stored in a padded case. When I needed it it would only read “unreadable: device interference…try again”. I did all the suggested troubleshooting to no effect. I contacted support and they didn’t read my message so I tried contacting again. Their response indicated they’d completely misread (or not read at all) what I’d written. I tried contacting again and got a message saying “sorry for delay… we’ve had a much higher than normal call/email volume”. Undoubtedly lots of upset customers. Am continuing to try but there’s clearly product quality problems and customer service is not at all satisfactory.

I cancelled my subscription and they continued charging me, then refused to refund me. Do not trust this company. Also, if you call for customer service they don't care at all that they're ripping you off. They sound like robots and complete sociopaths.

Kardia caught & helped to diagnose my sporadic afib & tachycardia caused an unpredictable autoimmune disease. I took my Kardia on a holiday visit to see family. It would not work ever. I searched and searched to no avail. It could have been disastrous results for me. My BP plummets to 70/50 and my HR HIT 200+. All I got from my device was "no signal". ??

Die Sechskanal-Messung ist das reinste Lotteriespiel. Manchmal erfasst die App erst nach wirklich mehrmaligem Ansetzten eine Messreihe. Meistes erkennt er den Puls am Knie oder am Knöchel nicht oder er bricht einfach mal so mitten im Messen die Messung ab oder man muss mehrmals verbinden und , oder usw. Tausend Gründe, warum dieses Gerät einfach nur ein Müll ist und kein medizinisches Überwachungsgerät für so eine ernstes medizinisches Problem

UPDATE 2: AliveCor asked me to email them with a copy of this conversation which I did immediately. Their automated system replied with a case number. A week later, still nothing from them. I called and an agent told me "oh, it might take 24 hours." I replied that it's been a week. She had nothing to say. I requested speaking to a supervisor and was told none are available. I stand by my original review. HORRIBLE COMPANY! They are probably GIVING HEART ATTACKS not saving people from them!

So sorry I wasted my money! Whenever I feel tachycardic and use Kardia, it tells me unreadable. I can be in the exact same seat and use it the same way when I feel fine and it works. This has been consistent almost a year.
I called the company and they cite "many variables including how moist your fingers are or how much pressure you are using to press on the pads" -- it isn't rocket science and should not vary within a 10 minute period.

I was always unable to register my bite. They also stop to support my phone, it was in a list of supported phone.
Then they told me that want to give me a refound, but they want to have back the recorder? Why? You have to give me a refound because you removed my phone from your list after a little time that I had bought that.

I recently purchased an AliveCor product, expecting the quality and reliability they are known for. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. The device emits a high-pitched noise that is even worse than tinnitus, making it unbearable to use. This critical flaw was not disclosed to buyers, which is both disappointing and misleading.
As someone who relies on accurate and convenient health monitoring, I am extremely frustrated by this oversight. The constant noise not only disrupts daily activities but also undermines the purpose of the product. I hope AliveCor addresses this issue promptly and provides a solution for affected customers. Until then, I cannot recommend this product to others.
