I just purchased the Kardia Mobile device … I now regret it because if you don’t get the subscription there is not a lot of benefit. I didn’t want to buy the subscription now feel forced to buy it.

Product is ruined by poor reliability

Product is ruined by poor reliability. When it works it gives great readings etc.
But that is rare. Constant drop outs and artifacts. My smartwatch gives much more consistent readings.
Yes a 1 lead smartwatch out performs this overpriced product.

Oh and their tech support. Would give 0 stars of I could. Complete joke.

I returned the device on Day #1 ( the day after Father’s Day when my kids gave it to me as a gift). I never used it, so I cannot give an opinion based on my experience.I told the kids to buy me a 6L vs. a 6L-max because I didn’t want to pay a recurring subscription fee. The registration of the device on the Kardiamobile website reveals that all their devices necessitate a subscription! I can’t stand being intentionally misled!

The Kardia 6L simply does not work

The Kardia 6L simply does not work. If you try to get tech support, they respond by trying to get you to upgrade to their 6L Max. Why buy a new one when the old one doesn't work? The constant error is "electrical interference" no matter if you are miles from electricity. I despise this company.

Don't waste your money with this…

Don't waste your money with this device. It's been telling me I have atrial fibrillation and even the, so called, expert in Holland (where they send your tracings for analysis) confirmed it. However, my cardiologist looked at the tracings and stated they do not indicate AFib. Waste of money.

The device is capable the app sucks

The device seems capable at least for the couple of times I got it to work. The app however is absolutely terrible. I set up my password and did one reading and when i tried to log back in it gray screened and everything was un clickable. So I deleted the app and reinstalled it. i was able to login and got another reading but the it gray screened again. i was on a different screen but the entire screen was non-clickable.
Looking to return the piece of junk. :-(

It has been instrumental in finding heart arrythmias

It has been instrumental in finding my mother's and my irregular heart rhythm, tachycardia 155bpm and ventricular ectopics.
We have caught the rhythm in real time and been able to email the PDF to our GP and even show to Emergency Room (A&E) on the KardiaApp device
We have been able to build up a clinical picture and clinical history and log how we feel at the time and our Blood Pressure (have a separate BP cuff)
I like the KardiaApp because it is light to carry and can be carried in a hand bag.
When my mum was really unwell and we had to wait in AE I could keep track of her heart on the KardiaApp.
Highly recommend

Nothing but a MONEY GRAB

Nothing but a MONEY GRAB. I see no reason to waste my time on this Grift again. Any information of relevance, costs more, much more. It takes my EKG and then tells me that I need to pay more or upgrade. I get nothing for my time or the 100 bucks I wasted. I put it in a drawer and there it will stay. NO information, connection interference - give me a break!

DO NOT waste money on this

Unless you have a serious underlying condition already - in a which case you probably have a good more appropriate monitor already - this has little value. Wide QRS in 2 cases were data artefacts due to the very nature of this product.

A senior paramedic from ambulance after (under GP orders) I rang 999 showed me exactly using her smartwatch compared to their 12 lead ECG (normal) why this device is incapable of giving unequivocal wide QRS.

Do not waste your money - PARTICULARLY on paid version just to be told same thing by their own in house cardiac person.

Using 80 as type 1 hypertension for diastolic obviously is a US thing which does not apply in UK. If I could get my money back I would. The hardware is insensitive for conditions it purport to diagnose & software ranges scare people unnecessarily. Waste of money & do not buy.

Membership expensive and not worth the payment

the device itself is fine but the app kept asking me to add a credit/payment card for the monthly or annual subscription. i paid for an initial month's membership and decided to upgrade to the annual payment. Despite having paid once with a payment card, the app kept asking for card details. having entered a different card, i have now been charged twice for the same membership and cannot get any meaningful reply from customer services. Whilst the device is helpful, the app is simply an income genneration function and I don't recommend it.

Great device and has worked perfectly….

Great device and has worked perfectly for me over 3 years. I'd say you'd only upgrade to the subscription service if you have serious concern over your readings.
The negativity has shocked me and is absolute nonsense in my experience.
The British Heart Foundation rate this device. 5🌠

At first my Kardia device worked well…

At first my Kardia device worked well after initial purchase. Lately, every reading shows “interference, unreadable “…..however, you can purchase an upgrade (for more $$) to get a more accurate reading 😒 In other words, pay more and you will get something accurate. Funny that it worked perfectly right after my initial purchase of the device, but now I can’t manage to get 1 readable report now

A total con

I bought the Kardia 6 lead as it promised enhanced ecg results compared to a smart watch. It cost me £199.

What the ads do not tell you is that you need to pay a monthly subscription to get these enhancements. Save your money and avoid at all costs. A total rip off.

If I could give a negative number I…

If I could give a negative number I would. I got one for Christmas opened it and downloaded the app followed the instructions and nothing. Tried there support line and was instructed to replace the battery tried that and still nothing then was told to produce a receipt I informed them it was a gift and was told they could no longer help me. I didn’t even ask for a refund.

Kardiamobile review

I read other people’s negative reviews and wonder if they are not using the Kardiamobile properly.
You have to be still and the phone has to be still. There has to be no outside interference from another phone,computer or laptop ( in my experience) then you get a simple very clear heart trace. I have had repeated readings that match symptoms present and normal readings when no symptoms are present. So I would rate this bit of kit highly to catch irregularities as they happen. I would say the Kardiamobile has to be used diligently, quietly and patiently.

When they advertise and state that you…

When they advertise and state that you get more information than a smartwatch that is true but you have to pay for that information!. So on a free basis your Smartwatch is the best device you can own. It gives me 10 times more information than cardia device without payment!. Another scam. Another misleading advertisement. I'm returning this piece of garbage immediately. Update: I contacted support 4 days ago told them I want to return my device. You are allowed to return it within 30 days. I have not heard from them except they sent me an email with all types of information on usage. I've informed them I will now file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission the Better Business Bureau and consumer affairs!. They know they have a piece of garbage and they're not going to return it!. Stay far far away

Bought this device through Amazon,it will not connect via the app at all. Bought it 24/11/25 today 27/11/25, went to the Amazon returns on the Amazon site only to be advised “not returnable “ fortunately navigating Amazon and contacting help the advisor instantly processed my refund of £75.05 to arrive in my account in 5 working days, also no need to return the device . Well done Amazon but think this company may be a bit shady Kardia Mobile I mean. Just had notice that Amazon has credited my account 1.30pm 27/11/35 spot on Amazon

Don't buy this pile of junk

Don't buy this pile of junk, my lasted about 6 months before it constantly says electrical interference detected I spoke to kardia support who basically refused my warranty claim because I bought it off eBay brand new and not from them, absolute crook of company should be banned from trading in the UK I'll be looking into this as I purchased this item brand new sealed with a receipt as proof but nope they don't want to know looks like I'll have to submit a claim now via eBay to try get my money back

£150 for a inferior product, crap customer service and not to mention their subscription to actually make it work
