As you can see from the other reviews, this product doesn’t work. They make it useless until you pay the recurring subscription, it’s a scam.

Mine saod had afib gabe me panoc attack about and made me go into tachyardia, but seeks irrelevant at docs office...said i had alongated qr interval also 2 x battery was falling out. Wont stay in the company wont help amd semds me to help pages. Get a fitbit atleast it does lots of other stuff also amd only 79$

I am online researching this device and after seeing 84% of the reviews are negative, I've decided to opt out.
Questionable reliability
I have been diagnosed with AF recently and purchased this device to monitor my heart. For the last 6 days I have carried out numerous tests each day and each one was recorded as ‘unclassified’ with an average heart rate of 145 bpm. I have had none of the associated symptoms and am taking medication daily ie beta blockers etc etc.
I saw the consultant a couple of weeks ago whilst the device said I was in AF with a heart rate of 150. He confirmed I was in AF but said my heart rate was 70 bpm. I have lost faith in this ‘medical grade’ device and am now reluctant to visit A&E when it shows a rate in excess of 140 when I don’t have any of the usual symptoms associated with AF.
Worthless and a big waste of money
I purchased this Kardia Mobile device and paid for the $99 yearly membership fee. It is absolutely worthless! My wife wasn't feeling well so we decided to check her using the Kardia Mobile device and it showed everything was normal. She had never had heart issues before but, we figured since she didn't know what was wrong we'd rule that out. Apparently because this device is worthless it did not detect that was my was having a massive heart attack and I lost her within an hour later. DO NOT BUY THIS, DO NOT RELY ON IT, DO NOT PAY FOR THE MEMBERSHIP FEE.
Extremely poor product and service
I contacted the company after my device stopped working and they refused to replace it and told me to buy a replacement.
I will not be buying a replacement Kardia and would certainly not recommend this product when it has failed after only 3 years old. At a cost in excess of £200 it represents very poor quality and value as I have not used it that much. I could buy a small TV or Tablet for that price!!

A waste of money
It worked for a while, and was really helpful. However, it now no longer connects to either my phone or iPad. I have emailed their support line four times, but with no reply. The bottom line is ‘don’t waste your money’.

Don't buy if you have existing heart problems. The machine will not work if you have a pacemaker or an Implanted Cardiac Device - and if you get one of these in future the machine will not work any longer. They do not make this clear before you buy and refuse to make a refund, even though the product was not properly described. Really bad experience - don't get caught like I was!
Avoid! IMPOSSIBLE to return, NO customer service
Avoid!My problem is that the app linked to the device is NOT available in the Google App store in the country where the device should be used. So, or is useless to me. I asked for a refund within the 30-day period and NEVER received an answer. I have raised a dispute with Visa. Avoid, absolutely ZERO customer service.
Update: finally I disputed the transaction and ONLY then I got a reply how to return. Disgraceful. Oh, and of course budget tracked return shipping to Ireland on your own expanses.

Be very careful before buying this, I have upgraded my phone and it is not compatible with the Kardia Mobile. Alive Kor were no help at all and all they say is that it is not in their list!
My GP wasn't impressed
I bought a Kardia mobile as I had a triple heart bypass in March 2025 & wanted reassurance. I showed my GP the results but he wasn't impressed. Why not? Can anyone tell me?
Kardia Mobile is an inhumane company and pray on the vulnerable.
Kardia Mobile refused to replace my broken device after purchase and until I asked to speak to a manager and then this was replaced.
My original subscription for Kardia came out of a savings bank account that I didn’t use.
With evidence from them and from my app, they could see that I had not used this device for over two years.
Despite this, they continue to charge me a monthly fee knowing that my device was broken and I was unable to use their service.
The customer service is absolutely diabolical and given the fact that most people using this app are using it for health reasons would suggest that a number of people have disabilities they deal with every single day.
Kardia Mobile has absolutely zero compassion and their morals are inhumane.
They pray on the vulnerable and extort what they can despite knowing the majority of their customers are vulnerable.
Working like this should be illegal, however due to them operating in numerous countries, you have zero protection from them and you will not get the support you need when you need.
And dare you ask for a refund for the evidence amount of time your account has been inactive due to a broken device. They clearly tell you that even the most recent payment cannot be refunded despite them losing zero for the lack of you not using or needing their service.
Avoid at all costs and my personal recommendations would be to buy an Apple Watch where your ECG’s are free and there is no monthly ongoing cost.
As a note, I have paid over £500 in total without the cost of the machine itself. All to use it for less than two years.

Heart arrhythmia compounded by customer service
I bought a monthly subscription to show my doctor, but she wasn't impressed. I asked for the subscription to stop. It didn't. I have been perfectly willing to pay for the first month, but they have continued to charge me for SEVEN months, despite the fact that I reached out again and asked them to stop.
Rubbish
Update....Bought one at the request of my cardiologist but it failed after 2 months. Managed to get my money back in vouchers from Alivecor after lots of phone calls. Bought another one in December as thought maybe I had been unlucky. .and it's also failed less than 4 months later. Do not waste your money.

Kardia transformed my wife’s life.
I have had the original Kardia for 7 years now and it’s worth every penny. My wife had atrial fibrillation for about 10 years but every time we went to the hospital for an ECG her heart would always behave itself. Our GP recommended Kardia as we would be able to catch it as it happened. And catch it it certainly did. We were able to show the traces to our GP who arranged to see Cardiologist. She then had an Ablation soon after and she’s been fine ever since and that was six years ago. I don’t know what we would have done without it. I’ve read many of the other reviews on here and don’t recognise any of their experiences. It’s simple to use and has clear instructions. My eight year old granddaughter likes to play doctors with it. She doesn’t have any problems getting a clear trace. I paid £99 in 2018 for the original 2 lead version. The six lead version is only £50 more. Money well spent if it saves your life.

To be fair to them, I requested a refund more in Hope than expectation. They responded in reasonable time and have given me a refund. Can’t say fairer than that! Have therefore updated from 2 stars to 3 stars
