Peor compania que existe

Peor compania que existe. Perdio mis 4 billetes de vuelta por toda la familia cuando regresamos en Mexico cd después la muerte de mi suegro en Francia. Llamé para decir que mi suegro falleció principio de noviembre, tenia billetes en diciembre ida y vuelta. No queríaban cambiar o remplazar pero no me dijeron que si no tendria la ida perderé la vuelta. Lamentable, incapaces. Servicio comercial para vomitar. DDHWII

I will never fly them again

I will never fly them again. I had to cancel my flight due to circumstances in my final destination. I spent a lot of time on the phone with their people and was able to secure a credit for the flight which must have been used within a year.

9-10 months later, I tried using their website to do this and there was no way to do so without being sent to a page that no longer existed. Bad start.

I called their tech support and got the run around. I told them I'm just trying to use reward travel so they sent me to another department. This department said their records showed I was a "no show" for the flight, to which I said that's absolutely false, I spent a long time on the phone with them assuring that I was getting out of the flight with a credit. They said they had no record of such a call!!! Like it never even happened.

Thankfully I was able to get my credit card to reimburse me under a provision that covers such provider malpractice.

But I will never fly with these "con-Air" again.

I cannot express my disgust and fury with the airline strongly enough. The level of incompetence and sheer disregard for the customers is beyond unacceptable. I feel utterly scammed and insulted by the treatment I’ve received over what should have been a simple process: booking and using a plane ticket.

First of all, the customer service is a complete joke. It’s clear the staff has no clue what they’re doing. Every single person I spoke to gave me different answers, none of which resolved the issue.
Secondly, nothing short of a scam to leave people stranded with no help and forcing to get new ticket is dishonest and predatory.

And then there’s the absolute disaster with no accountability, and not even a hint of an apology. The audacity to leave paying customers stranded with no support is appalling.

The airline is a disgrace. The way you treat people is shameful, and the fact that you’re still in business blows my mind.

DON¨T SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED ABOUT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL AIRLINE

I have flown over 1,000,000 million miles for the past 50 years with many airlines. AEROMEXICO by far is THE WORST AIRLINE of them all.... and trust me I am not exaggerating. Their airport STAFF are always rude with a sour face. They know little or nothing about anything.
I have flow in Business/first class since I can remember. Had purchase a RT ticket from Mexico City to Rome. Had a problem with the dates on my return so I made the BIGGEST mistake to make a change of dates. Over the phone, I was told that was a penalty of US$300, so I made the change. A couple of days later, checked my credit card, and BANG.... THE BIGGEST RIP OFF of the centrury.... they not only charged me for the US$300 but also US$6,862 .... OUTCH..... HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

It was a fight for 3 months and they would not return my money.

If I had purchased a new ticket it would have me cost a bit over US$3,000 ...then why didn´t the agent charged me that fortune instead of tell me that it would have been cheaper to buy a new ONE WAY TICKET???

Trust me, if you MUST fly with them... BE extremely cautious in every aspect. Be prepared for bad attitude in the ground, unfriendly faces in the air.... I can not imagine how they must treat passengers in economy class...if in Business they are totally unpleasant. Their CLUB LOUNG AT MEXICO AIRPORT is a JOKE.... overcrowded, unhealthy if any food at all.... keep in mind if you pay a few pesos, it does not matter which class you fly...everyone is welcome. I wish AEROMEXICO falls from grace and be SOLD to a reputable airline

Never fly Aeromexico

I booked a non refundable flight on aeromexico and due to heart issues I cannot travel. I realize I cannot het a refund for the flight but I later paid 100.00 to choose a window seat. I requested a refund for that portion as I did not see it was unrefundable. I would suggest that this is immoral action on aeromexico part. I called customer service and they said I could apply with doctor letter and they might consider a refund. Might is the key here. Being a faceless corporation I truly expect a refusal however they would know that my seat is then available for resale this early before the flight. I prefer to eat the 100.00 rather than them knowing I cannot fly and having the opportunity to resell the seat and make double profit off of my loss. I will simply not show. I think this kind of corporate behavior to be disgusting profit greed and hope that my seat stays empty and Aeromexico cannot make double by reselling a cancelled non refundable seat and the extra seat cost. I will never book with this airline again, they are not good corporate people. I hope others will reconsider flying on Aeromexico if any other airline is flying the same route. I suggest every potential customer avoid this bad airline. I would post my name but it may allow them to identify the seat and resell it so, fork you Aeromexico, I hope you go bankrupt as that is what I believe lousy companies deserve!

It isn’t worth saving money go for a decent airline

I should have read the reviews. A cheaper flight than the decent airlines was not worth the hassle annoyance and stress making an overall unleaded first and last experience with this airline. We upgraded to first class after a misleading offer. Don’t do it. It’s barely second class. The premier lounge is little different to a cheap overcrowded and hot cafe. Given how much money the country makes from tourists they could do so much better.

Timely flights and friendly services

Both our flights were timely and all the staff members were very helpful. The issue with them is their email keeps coming in Spanish only even though my settings are for English. They go to the extent of translating my name to a Spanish version which is ridiculous! App also had intermittent issues. Also, award travel is almost impossible to book after me trying it so many times and after talking to their agents (who were not very helpful). Lastly, their award booking seems to be difficult to navigate thru and hopefully they will fix it soon.

Rateros

Son unos rateros,cierran el vuelo a tus de tiempo, para que aunque tengas tu boleto no puedas abordar x que tmya ocuparon tu asiento y no te permiten abordar.. tienes que comprar otro boleto x que tu tarifa es básica y no permite cambios.las personas en sala de espera unas pre-potentes.me su edio en vuelo CD de México a cancun 3 de diciembre 14 hs..

Scam airliner

Scam airliner, Bought a return ticket Rome - Mexico flex rate, meaning that there is an option to change the date of the return flight with the condition to pay additional charge in case the return price is higher than booked. So now I am changing the return date AND they charge even more than the cost of a single flight . Never ever again with this airliner.

I cannot recommend Aeromexico

If you have food allergies, do not trust the cabin crew with your food. I was served a wheat bread roll which was put with my gluten free meal. When I drew their attention to this, they simply shrugged their shoulders and walked on.

Booking a family trip? Reserved seats all together? Don't expect them to honor that. There and back families & couples were split up and seated in different areas of the plane. They DO NOT CARE about their passengers.

On route to Mexico, cabin crew were rude, there were no announcements from the pilot, we once heard a whisper of an announcement in Spanish from the cabin crew, no idea what was said.

9 hrs into the flight we found out we were supposed to go to the back of the plane and make our own refreshments and take snacks if we wanted them.

The cabin isles were a slip hazard, plastic bags all over the floor.

Cabin crew pouring hot coffee into cups without a tray over the heads of seated passengers.

Customer services don't know their own website and repeatedly told me I did not pay for preferred seats, Aeromexico do not charge. My bank receipts say they DO charge. I DID PAY & THEY DO CHARGE FOR PREFERRED SEATS.
When I told them I was unhappy with their replies and wanted a contact email for the manager, they stopped responding.

Wouldn't recommend this airline, they are appalling and seriously need an overhaul.
Such a shame when they have such great aircraft. The customer services and cabin crew let them down.

Otherwise, I had a fantastic time in Mexico.

me rompieron la maleta en un viaje y me dieron un boleta de descuento con la fecha de caducidad para usarlo pues despues de unos meses cuando voy a usarlo me dicen que no que tenia que ser un vuelo antes de esa fecha que esa no es la caducidad del boleto si no la fecha que tenia para coger un vuelo antes INCREIBLE!! cuando no lo pone en ningun sitio eso SON UNOS SINVERGUENZAS LA PEOR COMPAÑIA!

I have travelled over 67 countries with an array of airlines. By far, this Mexican airline has taken the cake (THE WORST EVER). Rude flight attendants in a bad mood all the time in (business class). Ground personal is not far from the rest. Totally unfriendly. Their 787-800 are as old as the flight attendants. Food mediocre. Once they serve you a glass of wine, good luck to get a second. They shove the trays at you, hopping you eat fast so they can go to sleep. If in business class we are treated like cattle, I can't imagine how it is in economy class. I don't understand why Aeromexico is still flying. Who owns this airline???? the government perhaps???

I cancelled my Aeromexico flight within 24 hours, as per their policy, and was promised a refund. Months later, I still haven’t received it. Despite countless follow-ups via phone and email, I’ve gotten no help—just told to call again. As an EU passenger, I know my rights and expected better. To make matters worse, they refuse to issue a no-show certificate, blocking my insurance claim. Either refund me or provide the certificate, or I’ll pursue legal action. Avoid if you value your time and money.

No show policy

Customers beware if you have a connecting flight. Company policy is that if you are a no-show, they can cancel your whole itinerary. This happened to me. I missed my connecting flight from MEX-MTY, and they canceled my trip home to YVR.
When booking a connecting flight, give yourself lots of time. In Mexico City, you will go through immigration which can take a long time.

Do yourself a favor, choose a different airline

Be very careful when making ticket changes over the phone. I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO RECORD THE CALL AS EVIDENCE... you will need it later.

I called Aeromexico to made a change of an existing ticket bought back in March 2024 on business class, from Italy to Mexico flying on October 15nd. Instead I wanted to fly from Madrid to Mex November 22nd. I understood that it would be a penalty of US300. I agree to it and made the change. Never checked my credit card to see the charge, until 2 days later.
I almost had a heart attack when I got a charge over US$7,000 . HOW ON EARTH ANYONE WOULD PAY A DIFFERENCE OF US$7,000 to make a ticket exchange (one way trip. I can buy today same itinerary for less than US$2,000. Aeromexico claims that the Agent told me that the cost would be US$7,132.60 and I had agreed with it. Lies, I would NEVER voluntarily agree to pay this ridiculous price for a one way ticket, to fly such ORDINARY airline, even if I could afford it, which is not my case. I am still fighting the charge with my credit card company and will eventually get an attorney in Mexico to demand the '' entirely'' transcript of our conversation.
Even if UNKNOWINGLY admitted to make this change, the Aeromexico Agent should have clearly instructed me that would be cheaper to buy a new ticket than have the one one exchanged. Aeromexico is not an honest airline and lack respect, lack service and loyalty to their frequent clients.

Again, NEVER make a phone call to AEROMEXICO without recording every conversation..... also, their agents ask for your full name when they only give their first names...online and in writting.

“Sorry, sometimes the app glitches”

The first and last time I’ll fly this absolute garbage excuse for an airline. I had a flight departing from MEX at 9:50 so just to be safe I arrived at the airport at 7am. Checked my bag and proceeded to wait around for nearly 2 hours for them to display a gate. I go to my gate to make sure I know where it is and then I head to a lounge so I can sit for a bit when I suddenly get a notification that the flight is now 10 mins delayed on the AMX 2.0 app. So I think, ok, the flight is leaving at 10 now, I’ll go to the gate at 9:30 and when I arrive they tell me there’s no delay and we closed the gate already. They literally let someone in right in front of me and told me “no, doors closed 5 mins ago and the list was already send.” So, you’re telling me you’re going to send a notification that the flight is delayed and now departs at 10am and then proceed to close the doors 40 mins before this new departure time? The employees at the gate looked inconvenienced that I was even asking them questions, they call over air control and he tells me they can offer me food vouchers and put me on the next flight that leaves 7 hours later. “Sorry, the app doesn’t work sometimes.” Are you kidding me?!

I’ve been a frequent flyer for over a decade, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. The hate I have for this airline is palpable

No respetan los asientos

No respetan los asientos que compras, los sobrecargo se adueñan de los asientos AM Plus para sus acompañantes y no respetan. Tienen un desmadre con la asignación de asientos aún cuando pagas extra.
