The website was a bit quirky but otherwise straightforward
The website was a little bit slow moving between selections. Also, if you're navigating backwards and forwards to edit dates etc check that your original booking was deleted. The site doesn't do this, it just adds every change as a new transaction. Otherwise, everything was straightforward. This seemed to be the only site that offered a choice to travel for 15 days over 2 months.

Useless seat reservation
I wanted to book a seat reservation for a short journey in the UK to make sure I'd actually get a seat. What I got instead was a piece of paper saying I could sit anywhere. When I contacted customer service I was told this was to make sure I'd be able to board the train as some journeys sell out. This does not apply to my journey, so basically ACP Rail sold me something completely useless.

I am in my upper seventies and not very tech savvy, but the Eurail pass was too much for my brain and for many of the rail staff on the trains. My pass was supposed to be on my phone but for a couple of the trips it would not open. My next experience will be with a company that will offer a paper ticket, with which I would feel far more comfortable.

Be very careful when using the website
The ACP Rail website can be quite confusing and frustrating. It is not user friendly. If you make a mistake such as confusing 'Activation Date' with 'Date of First Use' you can lose a day and will not get a refund. Also the webpage 'BritRail Passes for Canadians' can show prices in US Dollars without it being obvious until you get to the end of the buying process which you have to then restart. Be very careful when using the website to buy passes.
