From sales to installation was nine days. Very professional workforce who erected the scaffolding the day before and removed it the day after.
The installation was completed in a day as the guys worked late to get the job finished. Office staff very helpful, now just waiting to get registered with the grid so my exported power can be paid quarterly. I have saved teens of 🌳 in a short time. Happy days. 😊

Guys were brilliant from start to finish

I had been investigating the idea of a solar system for some time, but I didn't know who would install it. I then filled out one of these online forms and was contacted by Zest Energy. We agreed on a date and time for a meeting. A rep duly arrived, and we discussed the pros and cons of a solar system. The rep explained how the system would be set up in our house; it would only take one day. On the installation day the electrician and 2 roofers arrived and we agreed where everything would go. Our inverter would be fitted under the staircase. The electrician set to work as did the roofers and sure enough the system was up and running by 3 O'clock that day.what mess they made they tided up. We are very pleased with our system and it is generating some decent power.

The salesman was rather over-zealous, but has no need to be. Our old solar panels were replaced and new ones added, together with batteries. The system is working perfectly, ideal as we have 2 hybrid cars that we charge almost daily. The company delivered exactly as promised and to schedule.

I had an outstanding experience with Zest! From the moment the scaffolding was erected to the installation of my solar panels and battery, the entire process was seamless and professional. Zest delivered a truly first-class service.

The entire project—from ordering to installation and even the removal of the scaffolding—was impressively completed within a week. The solar panels and battery were installed in just one day! The installers went above and beyond to accommodate my specific requests for the battery placement and cable routing, ensuring everything was exactly how I wanted it.

I honestly can’t fault a single thing. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were exceptional. I’m thrilled with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Zest to anyone. Now, I’m just looking forward to enjoying plenty of sunny days ahead!

The whole process was quick and simple to understand.
The installation was very good hardly notice them.

Zest kept us updated all the way through the process and were there if we needed any help or clarification. They could not have done anything more to make it easier.

All started well, very informative visit and quote received on the Tuesday afternoon, said I would consider it after comparing with other quotes and get back to them the following week- quote valid for 30 days.
Friday morning a call from Customer Services wanting to push me to having another visit……
Hard sell…..
Quote given was £5k over other quotes received would have asked for a revised quote but the attitude of the caller on Friday morning cost them the opportunity to make a revised quote!

Only after posting this review did I get a response…..

We had a great experience with Zest from start to finish, the salesman, the surveyor and the installation team. We had solar panels, a solar battery and an electric car charger fitted.
Particular praise goes to the installation team who spent time ensuring that the fit was perfectly adapted to our situation. They went above and beyond.
We also needed help with our car charger and one of the team visited us the same day.
We would highly recommend the whole Zest team.

Very informative and supportive throughout the project and since completion. Completion in one day efficiently and tidy.
The reason for a four star and not five there were a couple of points of information that could have been relayed at the start of the process. 1 The battery, sales man insisted the battery would go up the loft, fitter said no chance. Fortunately he had an adequate cupboard. 2 bird proofing, In spite of the sales man being fully aware of a large pigeon loft near the property he failed to inform us about the potential serious issues nesting under the panels could cause. We have had to get this done independently. (Note pigeon/bird proofing service could be considered by the company as an additional service).
Having said that I am happy with the support from the company and would recommend it's good to give small companies business, local jobs for local people.

Great speedy service did exactly what they said and the best price

Everything done quickly and efficiently. With really nice customer service to answer any questions you have, they were very helpful

At very short notice they helped us out with inset solar panels and batteries. We had them installed over 3 separate days as they came and installed after the roof was ready.
From the sales guys to fitters and the boss man very accommadating. Highly recommend them.

The team were so helpful in guiding me through the entire process, and installed the system as promised on time and tidied up behind them, so please with the company’s professionalism.

Zest energy were very quick a bit too quick you hardly had time to think about what you were getting into .They we’re very and helpful apart from the boss who wanted paid before the man got of the roof .we did have a slight miss communication.but all done now thanks again

good customer service from agent to engineers

A high quality and excellent solar system was installed in a very professional manner by the installation team.
With particular thanks to Chris Johnson, the installation team leader, who gave very good advice and general tips on the system and went that extra way to make it all work.
Very good communication from Archie Reilly, the customer service manager, during and after the installation.

Unfortunately, due to my impaired eye vision, I had requested several times to have large print outs of the proposal and contract to be sent to my home address, but this never happened but stated in the contract. The proposal was well below my expectation and critical information for me was missing and there was no pricing breakdown.

There were initial poor and miss communications with the salesperson, surveyor and Zest team members and resulted that the end product did not fully live up to my expectations. Issues with the location and orientation of the panels. The solar hot water interface that was installed was very disappointing and well below what I was expecting. The system cannot be monitored and controlled, though was discussed initially. I would have been happy to pay the extra difference if money had been an issue. Now, I need to change out the interface at a great and extra cost for a better and more advanced unit. It’s more than likely will not receive any compensation.

Discussed with the salesperson for a possible expansion on the original proposal by adding additional panels and a battery in order to maximize the the energy production. Unfortunately, I never got any further details and feedback about this on costs, possible saving and if this is worthwhile.
I am still planning for an additional battery and panels in the near future but would request technical advice and not dealing with a salesperson. Though would expect an acceptable proposal with price breakdown from Zest.

Zest Energy was recommended to us by a friend who is an existing client of the company. Up to date, there has not been any communication from Zest with her related to the “friend’s award “of £400.- and this is now nearly 4 weeks ago since installation and full payment from us. Her contact details had been given twice to the salespersons.

The sales man knew his stuff. The office staff worked hard to get everything done quickly and easily. And the installation was simple and easy. Everyone was pleasant and easy to talk too.

The quality of the work seems excellent and the effort to find the best solution for my situation was great. This of course was necessary as the real challenges were only identified by the technical workers when they came on site to fit and not by the salesmen- ideally situation and proposal should be seen by those fitting it before contract// costing agreed.
