My Review of My Neck and Face Lift, as well as Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty

My journey started with meeting Samira. She was the one who introduced me to everything and answered all my questions. I thoroughly checked all the certificates and licenses of both the hospital and the surgeon. We had been communicating for six months. And finally, the day came when I arrived. I was met with a good transfer from the airport and brought to the hospital. Despite it being Sunday at 9:30 pm, a translator was already waiting for us at the hospital, I did all the necessary tests, and we were even served dinner.

The next morning, my surgeon, Dr. Erkan, came to see me. He is very positive and kind. He asked what exactly I wanted and how I envisioned the results, then explained and advised me on the best approach. Shortly after that, I was taken for the surgery. It lasted quite a long time. When I returned to my room, the first 24 hours were tough. I was greatly supported by my son (I highly recommend taking a close relative with you), and the medical staff were always ready to help, day or night.

The only downside is that the nurses do not speak English, but we managed well with the help of the translator. The next day was already easier. My surgeon visited me twice a day, checked on me, and greeted me with a genuine smile.

By the third day, I was taken to the hotel (it was decent, though I wouldn’t give it 5 stars — I think 3 would be fair). On the fourth day, I was already walking around Istanbul and enjoying the local sights.

Every day, I send photos of my recovery to my cosmetologist, and she is absolutely thrilled with the work and the clean, neat stitches.

Conclusion: An amazing team. My friends, you are the best!

I gave this hospital 5 stars but I wish I could give it more. My experience at Yuzyil hospital was amazing, my first contact, Shamira was an amazing person. She was very helpful and kept me well informed about the surgery I wanted to do, and gave me clear explanations about everything.
When I reached the airport, I was very sceptical about the driver that came for me but he was so polite and very nice. I was met by Murat, my interpreter, AMAZING man. He was just great. He made sure I was comfortable, he assured me that I made the best decision when I chose the hospital, he made sure I was fed, he was just so polite , caring and friendly.
Dr Aziz who did my surgery was friendly, polite and very thorough. He explained what he would be doing and how he would go about doing it. I highly recommend Dr Aziz if you want to do your surgery.
Let not forget to mention, how clean the hospital was! Very clean and nice.

An experience I will never forget. From the very first contact with Shamira our experience was second to none.
I have never come across so many helpful people in my life, when your in a situation where you might be fearful it certainly will not happen here.

Dopo aver fornito dati sensibili (foto e relazioni mediche) alla consulente, per una valutazione e un preventivo di revisione chirurgica a seguito di danni estetici subiti da precedenti interventi (Turchia), le risposte ricevute sono state evasive, inconcludenti o palesemente scorrette.
Per quanto la consulente fosse anche stata molto gentile e si fosse anche impegnata a chiedere a tre diversi chirurghi ( Op. Dr. Aziz Parspanci; Op. Dr. Erkan Kerem Kaya; Op. Dr. Elìf Akbay), questi hanno rifiutato il caso senza darmi alcuna motivazione.
Questo modus operandi di rifiutare pazienti già operati, specialmente se con complicanze, sembra essere un costume diffuso per evitare di affrontare il lavoro di revisione su danni altrui e rivela una palese incapacità di rimediare a danni preesistenti, oltre che una pavidità nel contrastare il pessimo lavoro dei colleghi. È evidente una politica interna di copertura del malpractice diffuso in questi paesi, un comportamento vergognoso e antiprofessionale.
Le mie richieste di un preventivo di spesa e fattibilità su interventi specifici sono state sistematicamente ignorate. La conversazione si è chiusa senza alcun preventivo, a riprova che le mie esigenze non sono state minimamente considerate. Hi my name is Emirjeta and I had a tummy tuck and liposuction done by doctor Erkan Kerem Kaya who was all around amazing and the hospital staff was perfect. The hospital and hotel were very clean.

When I had a meeting in London about the surgery I met a lady called Shamira aswell as a female doctor who told me she was going to do the surgery on me but when I arrived in turkey I was told in the hospital it was going to be done by a male doctor which i wasnt informed about before, when I spoke to Shamira about the currency of the payment I was told it was going to be in Euros but when I arrived at the hospital they told me I had to pay in British pound sterling which was a difficulty caused by Shamira. I was texting her through whatsapp after the surgery when I got back to England over the surgery and she was ignoring me, she is very different when speaking in person and through messages. Dont trust this woman. Thanks,

I thoroughly researched for a facelift in Turkey and found this hospital. What made me go for this hospital was the results shown on their website. They looked more natural to me that some other places.
From starting my conversation with Oyku Aras who was absolutely amazing keeping me informed of all the details I required from arrival. The transfer from the airport was brilliant to the hospital. Murat met my sister and I and he was very kind and a happy gentlemen who put me at ease and was on the ball with the paperwork etc. that had to be done. Serap, the other interpreter was the loveliest girl ever. She was absolutely amazing and helping and guiding me through my surgery from start to finish, so very attentive in every way.
On the day of my surgery, I had let them know that I had a cough for 14 weeks prior. Dr Aziz ordered thorough tests to make sure that I would be ok to go ahead with the surgery. My test at the ears, nose and throat dept came back with a bad infection in my sinuses and informed me that my facelift would not be going ahead. I was devastated at the time to hear this, but as Dr. Aziz explained that this could cause serious problems when under anaesthesia and that my life was more important.
Dr. Aziz offered me to get blepharoplasty surgery under local anaesthetic which i got done.
Being only 2 weeks since I had this done, I am so happy with the results, although still healing.
Dr. Aziz is an absolute genius, I would highly recommend him. I am going back to get my facelift later on in the year and will keep you updated with my progress.

The whole experience is good
I would suggest you have someone to accompany you during the stay as not all the staff speaks good English and you might need someone to figure out how to deal with the staff in the first day after the operation.

From the very beginning I've had good communication with Elif, absolutely couldn't fault her. she was always prompt with the answers to my questions and offering reassurance. When I arrived I was met by my evening translator Murat who was a jolly man, and very helpful. I met my daytime translator Sarap the following day along with Elif in person. I was taken to meet my surgeon who was also called Elif and she explained the procedure. You get very well looked after, and the people I've mentioned above, along with all the other staff at the hospital are a credit to the company, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who was thinking of coming to Turkey for surgery.

Really professional friendly staff. Felt comfortable at all times. Hotel provided was lovely clean and felt safe.
Communication was good from England to turkey and back again

I was a bit nervous about having surgery in another country,it’s a big step and naturally comes with a few worries. But from the moment my husband and I arrived at the hospital in the evening, I began to feel more at ease. Everything was handled very efficiently: payment, paperwork, and blood tests were completed quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated given how late it was.
That night, there was no hot water in our room, so I wasn’t able to take a shower before surgery. While it would have been nice to freshen up beforehand, it wasn’t a major issue, and the situation was quickly resolved the next day. The hospital itself was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, and the food was actually quite good which really helped me feel more settled during my stay.
The following morning, I had a brief but very helpful meeting with Dr. Aziz. He explained my breast condition clearly and recommended what would give the best outcome in terms of both safety and aesthetics. He made a great effort to communicate everything in English, and I felt well-informed and reassured by his calm and professional manner. The surgery took place right after our conversation, and I genuinely felt I was in very good hands with Dr. Aziz and the hospital staff.
The procedure lasted about five hours. When I woke up, I was absolutely freezing,so I’d definitely suggest future patients request an extra blanket in advance. Other than that, once I was in recovery, I started to feel more at ease and reassured by the attentive care around me.
The nursing team was truly amazing,kind, responsive, and always checking in, even during the night. Bariş, in particular, made me feel very comfortable, and another nurse (whose name I didn’t catch) was incredibly sweet and calming when I had a slight fever one evening. Their warmth and attentiveness meant a lot to me definitely five stars for the nursing team!

Dr. Aziz checked on me personally several times throughout my stay and during my final check-up one day before I left. He also provided clear, detailed aftercare instructions at that time, which I really appreciated it made me feel well-prepared for continuing recovery at home.

My coordinator, Aybüke, was also very helpful in organizing everything before I arrived and giving me enough information to feel confident in making the decision to go ahead with the surgery. Although we didn’t speak much in person, her support and flexibility, especially when I needed to change my departure date a few times were truly appreciated.
As for the hotel arrangements, we were originally scheduled to stay at one place, but the booking was changed to another hotel. Fortunately, the new hotel still looked nice and offered a comfortable stay. We stayed there for two nights, which was just right for our needs before heading home.
Overall, it was a very positive experience. It’s still too early to judge the final results, and I am currently still in the recovery phase managing pain and taking care of my scars. Hopefully, everything will heal well in time. So far, I feel well cared for, supported, and hopeful about the outcome.

This was my second visit to Pendik Yüzyıl Hospital — all the way from England — and once again, it was absolutely worth the journey. The care and professionalism here are truly exceptional.
A huge thank you to Coordinator Aybüke, who was incredibly helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process. She made everything so smooth and stress-free, from start to finish.
And of course, I can’t praise Dr. Hüseyin Süt enough — an excellent ENT surgeon with a warm and reassuring manner. His expertise and attention to detail are unmatched, and I felt completely safe in his care and I’m absolutely in love with my new nose, couldn’t be any more perfect than it is !

Stay with me. It gets progressively worse’s. I have use a friend account because I do not want the hospital to see my name from posting.

When arrived I was made to pay straight away. The hospital gave a quote in GBP but charged in Lira which resulted in a higher charge. I didn’t think to check as I trusted the hospital and man translator.

Then I was taken to my room. It was nothing like the videos they send you. There is no water or tea or coffee facilities. If you want a hot drink they tell you to go to the cafe but also tell you that you cannot go outside after surgery so you can’t have it.

The food is cold. Every meal cold. The internet doesn’t work well. Netflix on the TV does not work so there is nothing to do.

The staff are constantly banging and using raised voices and shaking Carrier bags so you will get no sleep. A cleaner will come in after 11pm and before 7pm and pretend to clean your room with dirty water.

Before your bum hits the chair they throw lots of booklets of paper at you. They tell you to sign every page and encourage you not to read it. The booklets are printed from an American website.

They ask you to declare you or anyone in your family does not have a penicillin allergy, even though I have a severe allergy. The translator said the papers was “just a formality”.

The staff will do your tests and put a cannula in you. Mine came out in my sleep and I needed another one.

They do not weigh you for anaesthetic. “It’s approximate” they do check you can open your mouth for 3 fingers though.

They take you into the freezing cold surgery room and strap you to a table and just leave you there for a while while they have their backs to you and it’s very scary.

When you wake up they say you can’t eat or drink for 2 hours but your mouth is very dry.

You will be freezing when you wake up so ask for extra blankets before surgery.

I was very lucky that I got Dr Aziz parspanci. He was very responsible Dr and I felt very safe with his surgery and explaining it. He cleaned the wounds before I went to the hotel and again when I came back for my inspection so to get my fit to fly paper for the plane.

He was very good at explaining how to look after myself and answered my questions. He is very thorough he is a very good doctor.

Some patients were charged too much money and not given back.

Some patients did not see the surgeon before they went from the hospital.

The hotel is next to a highway so again you will not sleep. The breakfast at the hotel is so bad, and the hotel does not do any other food so you have to go out instead of being relaxed and recovering from surgery. The staff at the hotel are nice.

I took my steaming stick to watch and happy that the tv had a hdmi socket for it to work. I saw lots of pictures and messages from other patients and the care they received was vey very bad it was scary. I’m so happy I got dr aziz parspanci because he seems like very good and ethical doctor.

I feel sorry for the other patients I saw and talked to there. I heard one girl was very ill in her surgery and needed lots of blood I hope she’s ok.

The other patients are nice and friendly to stay in touch, we make a nice group chat to see how everyone is recovering.

Elif was my patient coordinator, and she went above and beyond to try and rectify my complaints. She is a lovely woman and I feel bad having to leave a bad review about the hospital when she could only do so much to rectify the complaints, as they were all out of her control.

I would recommend Elif, I would recommend Dr Parspanci but unfortunately I could not recommend the hospital and be ok with it.

I had a much better experience at Memorial in Istanbul and would go back there if I was ever to return.

The staff, Elif, Dr Aziz and Serap are all so lovely, helpful, fun.

Unfortunately the hospital really lets them down.

It’s my last day in Istanbul under the care of Dr Parspanci and his team at Yuzyil Hospital.
From my initial contact with Oyku the whole experience has been professional, well organised and comfortable.
Travelling on your own is often a little scary but the whole team looked after me putting me at ease and supporting my every need. This includes the hotel staff at the Moncher Hotel.
I had a face and neck lift and am over the moon with the results. I look 20 years younger and although only 6 days in I have had no pain, not a vast amount of swelling and just bruises that are already going on my neck.
I had the surgery due to significant weight loss I hope to be back soon with Dr. Parspanci and his team for further treatment.
I know if I need any after care Dr. Parspanci is more than happy to be contacted and advice me.
I know that not all reviews are accurate in the plastic surgery world but this is my honest experience.

I underwent neck, face and temporal lift at the end of February and currently on day 8 of recovery. The whole process was seamless, from transportation, procedure and support. I flew out as a single woman and despite the excellent management of my visit, would highly recommend a companion if you are considering medical tourism (world apart from dental). After general anaesthetic and commencement of recovery, it can be somewhat daunting and I’m quite a tough nut! Post surgery, I’ve followed all the guidance to the letter and healing really well, the transformation is starting to emerge and it’s incredible! My coordinator is still in constant contact as she has been throughout and answers and checks any query I have. Only slight criticism is when coming around from the anaesthetic after surgery I was on my own which panicked me, perhaps this could be addressed for future patients. Other than that, seems my extensive due diligence is paying off… thank you to the team for everything… xx

Mummy makeover

Had a fantastic experience at Yuzyil Hospital, highly recommended! Excellent care from my arrival to departure, I was actually sad to leave!

My surgeon, Dr Aziz, Parspanci was actually amazing and performed a successful, 7 hour surgery for my mummy makeover. My translator, I am not sure of his name, was absolutely hilarious and made me feel at ease every time we met. My patient co-ordinator Aybuke, was brilliant and helped with my decision, all transfers, surgery information, my appointments post-op, my companion travelled with me just for flight prices and was allowed to stay throughout my time in hospital. All tests, medication, pre and post-op arrangements were done to an excellent standard and the care in the hospital was brilliant.

Our hotel room was very big and perfect for our needs. There was a bit of a language barrier, which we overcame with Google translate. Everyone was very helpful, comical and kind. I even managed to venture out on our last day for food and shopping at Viaport Marina.

I arrived home yesterday, 17/02/2025. Both airports, Istanbul and Stanstead were brilliant and provided electric wheelchair support and baggage assistance for my companion and we even managed to be seated on the return flight before everyone else. Once we arrived in the UK, Stanstead staff supported us with everything to make p it way home.

I would advise anyone having this surgery to make sure they mobilise frequently on the plane journey home, wear compression stockings the whole time and a day or so after your return home. Please don’t eat as much as I have post surgery, as the fluid retention, inactivity and extra calories does rapidly increase, so lymphatic massages are a must around 2-3 weeks post surgery. Make sure you complete all of your medications in full and keep the compression garment and bra on at all times for 6 weeks post-op, only remove it for a shower. This will all help with your recovery!

I will definitely be recommending Yuzyil Hospital and the wonderful staff I had the pleasure to meet and have my surgery with, I will come here again if I ever decide to have any further surgery!

The best team and hospital.
I had a facelift and neck lift. My consultant Elif was very kind, helpful and professional the whole time with me. I had no problems at all, she thought of everything about my comfort. I can't thank the whole team enough. Dr. Erkan Keren Kaya was very professional, competent and friendly. He asked everything about what I wanted. My result was better than expected. I am 41 years old , however, I am better now than when I was 20. I have had many other aesthetic surgeries. I have many experiences with other hospitals and teams. However, I can truly say that Yuzyil Hospital was the best. The whole team at this hospital is amazing, I hold each and every one of them in my heart.
