Don’t Count On Them

The appointment was set over a week in advance so they could find best qualified mechanic.
Received cancellation from mechanic 8 minutes after 2 hour time window for started.
Mechanic did not respond to request for quick rescheduling.

I was introduced to this company…

I was introduced to this company October 2023 and when I first work with them, it went great. The guy came in on time set the battery perfectly for my car didn’t work out, but that was a whole Nother issue but mechanic himself did the properly. Then after a year that same battery dies on me, which I hear that can’t happen at times, so I’m not putting the full blame on the mechanic or the company on that part however, when contacting them again to see if they can look into it I kindly asked if they can extend the warranty by one month Understood that but unfortunately, they weren’t able to assist in that matter or even offer any kind of discount for the warranty. I still decided to continue work with him and make a new appointment for have someone replaced the battery and instead what happened was I guess when the mechanic wasn’t able to get the parts they failed to let me know so instead of contacting me and keeping me Communication completely wasted my entire day while waiting for someone that was never going to come, and then I finally rescheduled with Them for another day for 4 PM and then they end up canceling that appointment and changing it to 930 am. I’m thankful that they were able to readjust and find a new mechanic however what they should have done is call me and let me know what was going on and communicate a different time when it’s good for me to meet with the mechanic to fix my car from 4 PM to a 9 AM appointment on a Monday is a change due to someone working I need to make sure that I have a set time and a set date with the mechanic so I can make sure I’m there at a proper time overall what I’m saying is that service your policies need to be looked at, but definitely your customer service Please your customer service team to be more communicative. I understand I’ve worked in customer service sometimes you don’t wanna talk to customers on the phone. I completely get that cause I used to hate it myself, but however, I was still sending an email explaining the situation and letting the customer know any of any changes just so they can properly Situate their own schedule. I’ve never felt so dismissed and the sad part is this is a great concept of a mobile mechanic, but you guys need to do better by treating your customers better and treating them as a priority because guess what we’re the reasons you have a company we’re giving you our business so if I’m providing money for a service, I expect that service to be done on the date that I set as an appointment , please do better.

“The service was terrible

“The service was terrible. The mechanic arrived with the wrong part, damaged my functioning drive belt, and then left, promising to return with a new one—but never came back. When I contacted Wrench customer care, they informed me that another technician wouldn’t be available for three days. Now, I’m stuck with no way to move my car and no immediate solution.”

They came to diagnostic told me what’s…

They came to diagnostic told me what’s wrong with it and then they were gonna contact me with the warranty as soon as it was approved something that it didn’t happen and when I was able to get a hold of them for them to come, they couldn’t take apart so I had to Take it to another place And when I had diagnosed recently, was not the problem, it was something else and they still charge me even they haven’t even done the job and they complete it as they have done the job something it didn’t happen.

Scamboogies

Awful scam they sent these 2 clowns over no tools..nothing. I had to ask for a diagnostic check for codes. They told me Oh it seems like its this but you need this test I get a quote and call to schedule only to be told Oh we can't do that but charged me 150.00 for basically nothing. I could have had a real mechanic spot tell me that for less. Don't use this service.
If there was half star it would be that.

The mechanic showed up and forgot…

The mechanic showed up and forgot needed items to complete the work I scheduled. I am not totally sure my oil was actually changed, but I am sure nothing else was checked. The report I received stated that a dozen other items were inspected, but the work happened right in front of my house where I could monitor through our ring camera. I wont be using this mobile service again, the customer service number and email has had zero responses to my inquiries. Service - 2/5

Exceptional Service, Convenience, and Value - Best Mechanic Experience Ever!

I had an incredible experience with Wrench Mobile Mechanic and highly recommend their service to anyone in need of car repairs. I was on a tight schedule with an upcoming work trip and couldn’t afford the 7-10 day wait that most local shops were quoting. Additionally, those shops wanted $149-$189 per hour just to diagnose the issue, plus the added hassle and cost of arranging a tow.

While searching online, I came across Wrench Mobile Mechanic and decided to give them a try. Their website quoted a $150 flat fee for diagnostics, and best of all, the mechanic would come to me! They were also able to schedule me for the very next day. I was initially skeptical about whether they were equipped to work on my 2010 BMW, but my doubts quickly vanished.

The mechanic arrived early and kept me updated every step of the way. He was a true professional—courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. Not only did he diagnose the issue with my car accurately, but he also conducted a safety inspection, checking my wheels, tires, brakes, fluid levels, and for any leaks, all included in the flat diagnostic fee.

After diagnosing the problem, he provided two repair options: using factory BMW parts or aftermarket parts, with a detailed quote for each. I appreciated the transparency and flexibility. The repair was completed quickly, and my car has been running perfectly since.

This was hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. The convenience, affordability, and professionalism were unmatched. I am now a loyal customer and will be contacting Wrench Mobile Mechanic for all my vehicle repair needs. Highly recommend!

Connor was very knowledgeable and very…

Connor was very knowledgeable and very respectful.
My car has no more leak because he found the problem that was left by the dealership.
I have a 2005 Infiniti FX with very low mileage . They changed the power steering hose . After it’s been replaced it was leaking. Took it back to the dealership and was told there’s another part that is leaking again.
I did not believe them anymore and I decided to use this company because I had spark plugs replaced before.
I’m so glad I made an appointment and very happy that Connor fixed it and yes no more leak.

They didn’t honor the appointment

I booked an appointment, they excepted the appointment. I waited 3 1/2 hours, and then they called me to tell me that the technician doesn’t come to where I live after they accepted the appointment. They gave me no option to rebook very disappointed.

Bait and switch company

Bait and switch company. I scheduled an appointment two weeks before and then the day before it they contacted me to tell me the price is nearly two thirds higher and I need to reschedule because the part won't be available for 3 days. I can understand when things come up during repair and additional parts or work is necessary but this was a last minute bait and switch - same part/same labor just 63% higher price. They could have contacted me anytime the past two weeks to explain the price difference or to reschedule but they waited until less than 24 hours before with no apologies or care for the customer whatsoever. Don't waste your time with this service.

DO NOT BOTHER

DO NOT BOTHER. The communication is terrible and I wish I read more reviews before booking. I booked an appointment with Luis last week. He had great reviews and I was so hopeful. On Monday he texted me and asked if I could reschedule for Tuesday. I could not. I asked off work Wednesday. Which I told him on Monday I couldn't reschedule then I asked if the Wednesday appointment was still good and I got no reply. My appointment time was approaching and I got a text right before my appointment saying my mechanic has canceled and is asking to reschedule the appointment for Friday. So I'm missing a full day of work. A full days pay, and I'm supposed to trust that this unreliable company is going to keep their word this time? The initial text they sent to cancel the same day within the same hour as my appointment said my mechanic attempted to reach out to me....yes he did and I responded. Why didn't he tell me Monday he's unable to do the appointment today? Terrible communication. Lucky enough I was able to find someone today that is actually reliable and is already looking at my car. They do not care about any inconvenience they cause to you. If you're able to contact anyone else please do it for your sake.

WILL NEVER USE AGAIN AND WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS

I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, 11/13/2024 on Saturday 11/9/2024, between 8-10 AM to fix my car and took time off work to be available. The day before, I received an email reminding me to be ready and that I’d get texts when my mechanic was on the way. But on the day, no one showed up, no texts, no updates. My account still showed Malik scheduled to come.

When I called customer service, after a long hold, I was told they knew no one would be coming but left the appointment as-is because they hadn’t spoken to me directly when they supposedly called on 11/11 to inform me they would not be able to make the appointment. So they just left it on the calendar, knowing no one would show, and didn’t bother to notify me. The reason? "We called and couldn't speak with you." Ironically, right after I spoke with customer service, I immediately got a text confirming a cancellation—so their system could text me when it suited them. I’ll never use this service again.

Be very careful when using this…

Be very careful when using this company. They charge for work that they don’t do and materials that they don’t provide.

Around 7/13/24 their mechanic came to my house to repair a power steering problem on my 1997 BMW. The mechanic came to my home, took about half an hour to inspect my car. He said that the power steering hose was broken and that someone from his company would call with a quote and schedule a repair date. Before any work was done I got a bill for work completed. They charged me $301.80. $130 Labor hours and $171.80 for 2 quarts of Power steering fluids. That’s $85.90 a quart. On Amazon a quart of power steering fluid cost around $10. Also, my 1997 BMW does not take power steering fluid, it uses Automatic transmission fluid.

When I called Wrench they check with the mechanic and admitted their error. They said they would refund my credit card $164.51 instead of the $171.80 that they charged me. It’s been about 4 months and nothing. I keep calling and they keep changing the date. I feel the only way I will get my refund is to shine a light on their practice.

I booked with them 3 different times

I booked with them 3 different times. First time, they assigned it to a technician who was off on the day of my appointment. They didn’t call me until the day off. Second time, they didn’t have the part in stock. Called me the night before my appointment. And today, I got a call last night saying they found the part. Got a technician. Then my appointment time was 7:30-9:30. It’s 10am and still nothing. I called the company and was told that the mechanic wasn’t comfortable doing a water pump and I need to reschedule with a different tech.

Inconsiderate of time

The experience was ve had with Ivan Harvey is horrible he’s very inconsiderate of ones time on 2 different occasions I didn’t find out that he wasn’t going to show up until well after the appointment why are you even on the schedule if you don’t work on those days I’ve had him once before to come by on a warranty and I got no type of communication with him about what he found to be the problem and he didn’t submit what he found to be the problem I never want this guy to work on my car ever again

Buyers beware—I don’t recommend this company for any repairs. I had my starter replaced in February 2024 for $700, and by October, it’s already gone out. Worse, I haven’t been able to reach anyone for a claim or replacement. Their listed claims number is either disconnected or unreachable, and customer service is unhelpful, acting like they can’t connect me to anyone who can resolve this. Even ‘higher-ups’ supposedly only respond by email, if at all. This company seems like a scam, selling used parts and avoiding accountability. Save yourself the headache—avoid this place!

Got Rick as a mechanic

Got Rick as a mechanic, and he was basically the kind of mechanic you never want to have. His diagnostic was basically him telling me that everything was wrong with my car, and he could fix it for me "off the clock" and "without the company (wrench)" knowing.

He wanted to charge me 2000$ for repairs. I told him no.

Despite supposedly EVERYTHING being wrong with my car, when he put in the diagnostic report he said that everything is fine.

I would recommend others to not use this service, based on this experience. And wonder if I should be getting a refund, actually.
